The assistance from Albert at arrival when no room was available, as confirmed, just hours before. He managed to put me in a larger room, which was very customer centric to create a good start to my stay. Phillips was a great guy in charge, and staff, young lady and guy, were friendly and treated me like a special guest. He will be key reason for my return; Gracias Phillipe!

Few amenities in room, like tissues, coffee to suggest 2. I drink Imperial Ultra, and it was not available. Additional training may be necessary for staff to welcome people, and ask the room number first so if a single item is ordered they don't ask for payment on each item until dining or drinking is done.

Nandel sits on the beach at the Bahia de Salinas, a bay that is windy from about December to April, and consequently famous for kitesurfing and windsurfing during those months. But when we stayed there, in November, the bay was placid and we had a big beautiful beach practically to ourselves. The property has a nice pool, a lovely staff, and monkeys and other wildlife around the resort.

No coffee in the room (although the included breakfast started at 7:00, with plenty of coffee available then.) And it wouldn’t be a bad idea to put safes in the room (although we had no problem).

We loved the Nandel Resort! Their breakfasts were the best we have ever had (and evening meals were delicious too). The staff (everyone, but especially Junior, Gabriella, Maria, and Phillipe) were super friendly and helpful. We were very comfortable and had a terrific vacation. (Thanks for having a heat pump!)

We really did like everything--no major complaints at all. The only thing we can think of is to have the people working at reception to learn English a little better.

Great place, breakfast is very good. Not a lot of vegetarian food but the food all seemed pretty good. The location for kitesurfing is amazing!

They should add vegetarian burritos so there is a protein option for lunch and dinner. One day some snakes washed up on the beach. At first it was a little freaky but they were just dying and didnt move around. Evidently their mouths are small and cant easily bite people.

The dining area was clean and comfortable with courteous staff who were always attentive. Our room had a lovely view. The pool was warm and clean.

We checked out one day early but paid for the whole stay - which was fine except the younger cleaning lady locked us out of our room and we were unable to reenter to get belongings we had accidentally left. We hadn't even arrived at our car to put in our luggage, and I remembered the items and went back immediately. No one knew we were leaving other than the cleaning lady who saw us with our bags going down the stairs.

Loved that it was so close to the beach, the pool was always empty for the most part. Breakfast was yummy. The terrace was awesome!

No microwave, or coffee machine:/. The terrace also had a weird mechanism where it locked itself if the door closed. It was pretty windy during our stay so we locked ourselves one day and had to yell for a worker to help us back in. He climbed from the bathroom window ( we were on the 2nd floor) because we added our second lock. There was also no hairdryer. But maybe that’s just a NYC thing to have in the hotels?

We loved our stay at Nandel! The staff was absolutely wonderful. They were very quick to respond when communicating over WhatsApp and always met our needs. They were also very patient with us when we were trying our best to speak Spanish (we are English speakers from the States) and were very helpful with words we didn't know and also with helping our pronunciation of words. We never felt silly when speaking with them and trying our best to speak Spanish, in fact, they were all super encouraging and wonderful. Such a great staff! The only improvement we could think of is that it would have been nice to have some sort of heating element in the "kitchen" of the family suite since we were staying with children so we could make quick, easy lunches for hungry kids. Also, so we could heat up our leftovers from when we would eat dinner at the Eagle Ray restaurant but brought home the leftovers at night. Also, it would be nice to have some more lighting in the kitchen/front porch area of the family suite since it was quite dark in there at night. Having lamps in the bedrooms instead of just the overhead lights for at night when you're trying to read would have been nice too (not necessary, but nice :) Lastly, it would have been nice if the two doors on either side of the family suite front room either weren't there or closed/locked more securely. They were nice to open to get a breeze during the day since the windows didn't open but they never felt like they were really securely locked. None of these things were "make or break" for us, we still absolutely enjoyed our stay at Nandel and would love to come back again! Thank you so much, especially to your awesome staff. This property is near to all the best beaches at the zone. The restaurant is great and the prices for the hotel and restaurant are reasonable. The hotel has all the facilities to have great vacations: great parking, it is safe, the rooms are comfortable, has a pool, includes great buffet breakfast, food at the restaurant is very good and the location is great.

Room towels need an upgrade and would be nice to have more than one key per room.

The location was beautiful and remote Breakfast was good in flavor and plentiful but would have been nice to change up what they serve a little. The staff was awesome, super friendly and very helpful. Most of the staff speak English which was helpful, or Spanish is minimal. Would stay again if back in the area.

The facility is nice but dated, it could use some updates. Our room did not have hot water in the shower and it was turned off to the sink. No coffee pot in the room which is a basic in most places.

Breakfast was great, location was beautiful, access to sea kayaks and a quiet beach was fabulous! Staff was really nice too!

The two things that would have made the room so much better would have been a small mini fridge and little carpets to wipe your feet on as you entered the room from the outside, the deck and next to the beds.
