The staff were wonderful. Maria Jose, Felipe and Junior were attentive to our needs. We enjoyed pool side drinks and several delicious meals. Access to Playa Coyotera was convenient. The room was super comfortable. The view from the balcony was lovely.

We would have liked to have a refrigerator in our room. In fact, our traveling companions inquired and were told only superior rooms included a refrigerator. We had to purchase ice and use a cooler. At checkout we learned that we could have paid a bit extra to have a refrigerator in our room. We would have paid for this option, but only learned about this at checkout. Perhaps this could have been offered as an upgrade on Booking.com?

The assistance from Albert at arrival when no room was available, as confirmed, just hours before. He managed to put me in a larger room, which was very customer centric to create a good start to my stay. Phillips was a great guy in charge, and staff, young lady and guy, were friendly and treated me like a special guest. He will be key reason for my return; Gracias Phillipe!

Few amenities in room, like tissues, coffee to suggest 2. I drink Imperial Ultra, and it was not available. Additional training may be necessary for staff to welcome people, and ask the room number first so if a single item is ordered they don't ask for payment on each item until dining or drinking is done.

Nandel sits on the beach at the Bahia de Salinas, a bay that is windy from about December to April, and consequently famous for kitesurfing and windsurfing during those months. But when we stayed there, in November, the bay was placid and we had a big beautiful beach practically to ourselves. The property has a nice pool, a lovely staff, and monkeys and other wildlife around the resort.

No coffee in the room (although the included breakfast started at 7:00, with plenty of coffee available then.) And it wouldn’t be a bad idea to put safes in the room (although we had no problem).

We loved the Nandel Resort! Their breakfasts were the best we have ever had (and evening meals were delicious too). The staff (everyone, but especially Junior, Gabriella, Maria, and Phillipe) were super friendly and helpful. We were very comfortable and had a terrific vacation. (Thanks for having a heat pump!)

We really did like everything--no major complaints at all. The only thing we can think of is to have the people working at reception to learn English a little better.

Great place, breakfast is very good. Not a lot of vegetarian food but the food all seemed pretty good. The location for kitesurfing is amazing!

They should add vegetarian burritos so there is a protein option for lunch and dinner. One day some snakes washed up on the beach. At first it was a little freaky but they were just dying and didnt move around. Evidently their mouths are small and cant easily bite people.

Staff were friendly and attentive. Lots of birds in a quiet, peaceful setting. The balcony view of the bay was beautiful. Walking on the beach was relaxing, private and not crowded. The restaurant meals are convenient and delicious food served.

The heavy rains in mid June created the door to swell and it would scrape the tiles. A few leaks in the ceiling under the breezeway were quickly repaired, not an issue.

The dining area was clean and comfortable with courteous staff who were always attentive. Our room had a lovely view. The pool was warm and clean.

We checked out one day early but paid for the whole stay - which was fine except the younger cleaning lady locked us out of our room and we were unable to reenter to get belongings we had accidentally left. We hadn't even arrived at our car to put in our luggage, and I remembered the items and went back immediately. No one knew we were leaving other than the cleaning lady who saw us with our bags going down the stairs.

This property is near to all the best beaches at the zone. The restaurant is great and the prices for the hotel and restaurant are reasonable. The hotel has all the facilities to have great vacations: great parking, it is safe, the rooms are comfortable, has a pool, includes great buffet breakfast, food at the restaurant is very good and the location is great.

Room towels need an upgrade and would be nice to have more than one key per room.

Loved that it was so close to the beach, the pool was always empty for the most part. Breakfast was yummy. The terrace was awesome!

No microwave, or coffee machine:/. The terrace also had a weird mechanism where it locked itself if the door closed. It was pretty windy during our stay so we locked ourselves one day and had to yell for a worker to help us back in. He climbed from the bathroom window ( we were on the 2nd floor) because we added our second lock. There was also no hairdryer. But maybe that’s just a NYC thing to have in the hotels?

The beautiful reception building with lovely and helpful Ana set the tone for a pampered and perfect stay. Every area was very well cared for. The grass and paths were clean and well tended. The pool was delightfully large and resort styled and the restaurant was clean and well arranged. Our room and large balcony felt like home! Pool towels in the room were a considerate touch.
