This hotel is mostly great in its convenient location, the famous Bryant Park and New York Public Library are just across from the road (if you are a Sex & City fan you know Carrie and Big had their wedding there lol), walking distance to time square and empire building, not to mention you also have Blue Bottle (nice popular world coffee brand), Zacker's (bagel restaurant), OLE & Le Petit Quo (2 very lovely light green dining offer brunch for jet-lag travelers), Citi Bank (ATM), CVS, Target etc super nearby; I would recommend for sure if you are coming to NYC first time like me - cuz you are gonna head to both uptown and down of Manhattan for lots must-check spots, all the way from the MET to Wall Street - or West Village to East as well, so a cozy, clean, convenient and fine hotel with tasteful decor, nice bed & metro/bus station just downstairs in mid town like this is exactly what you ll need. The employees are friendly and efficient, room has fully-supplied mini bar and fridge, comfy slippers and bath robes, molt brown products and heater in bathroom, no coffee machine/kettle but has free coffee/hot tea & muffin at lobby every morning from 7am - 10am; the hotel itself got 2 restaurants i recall, though not providing all-round breakfast yet you have too many other options outside. Do not miss the Winter Village market in Bryant Park - special winter food booth and exclusive souvenirs, enjoy the vibes and explore this fun neighborhood!

The only thing not that satisfying is from Booking's pictures and what I paid for the room it should have bathtub, however in reality it doesn't. I didn't report this to Booking nor complain at front desk at the time cuz I was too exhausted by long flight from Vegas. So be it. Just reminding if you are a bath person you might wanna double check cuz looks like the hotel only provides bathtub to certain limited room types.

I loved the size of the room and the clean modern styling. And it had a bath so with freezing weather conditions that week it came in very handy

I would of loved a kettle in the room but I didn’t ask for one at reception so I can’t complain

The location was excellent, both for travel to/from JFK airport (Long Island Rail Road) coming into Grand Central station and the subway for exploring Manhattan. Also the hotel very close to Times Square and Broadway shows, and plenty of restaurant options around. Whilst the room wasn't large, it was more than adequate for our stay and didn't feel cramped, and had a large bathroom (with both bath and shower). Bed was very comfortable, and room had large TV. Wardrobe space was limited, but adequate for a 4 night stay. Overall we'd stay again, and would recommend to anyone coming to NY for the first time.

Breakfast options. There was coffee and muffins available in the lobby every morning, but no variety (same limited options every day). We didn't use the hotel restaurants simply because there was enough info about them. Perhaps a menu in the room?

Location is superb, right next to the beautiful Bryant Park, that has this magical winter market with great places to grab a treat. The free breakfast muffins and coffee/tea in the mornings were great. The staff kind and helpful, always with a smile. Rooms are big and beautiful, especially in comparison to other hotels in New York we’ve been too.

We would love a kettle in the room just to make tea or coffee whenever we want. The water pressure in the shower was weak.

Our stay was fabulous. The front desk staff was warm and friendly, answered our questions expertly and efficiently, and even upgraded our room at no extra cost (thank you!). We were given a room directly across from the fitness center, but we didn't hear a thing from the gym, and since we weren't on the street side, the room was very quiet. It was also huge, beautifully decorated, and very well-appointed, with lovely toiletries, a comfy bed, and great lighting. The location was perfect--we could easily walk to the Empire State Building, Rockefeller Center, and a show near Times Square, without being right in the madness of those areas. Bryant Park was fun to explore, and the street the hotel is on has excellent bakeries. I will gladly stay at this hotel again!

Nothing.

The whole front desk team (Shannon & Jo in particular) were incredibly kind and helpful (Blowing up Birthday Balloons and secretly delivering them to our room). The Bryant Park Hotel made my daughter’s Birthday a special one. Housekeeping did a great job, and a bed that was a welcomed treat after exploring New York City. Loved the Molton Brown bathroom products.

Would have liked teaspoons and milk already in the fridge. Free water bottles in the room is standard in most countries so perhaps this could be addressed. Muffins and coffee a nice touch in the morning (but not cold muffins).

+ A great central location and good amenities at the hotel. + The room was big, nice and clean. + Staff were very welcoming and helpful. + It was also nice to have free tea, coffee and muffins in the lobby every morning. + The guest access to 24/7 gym was a bonus.

- Quite expensive but we did stay here over the festive period so expected high prices. - Room was also on lowest floor. Our view from the window was of a large generator and wall of another building. Generator was quite noisy for sleeping at night too so ask for a room on a higher level.

Staff was great. Very friendly & interested. Location suited us perfectly.

There was no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. They did have coffee & muffins downstairs in lobby every morning instead, which was great. Missed my cup of tea tho.

The room was extremely comfortable, spacious, and nicely appointed. The staff was exceptional-friendly, helpful, professional, and vet accommodating. The location is ideal. We enjoyed looking out over Bryant Park! We also enjoyed drinks at Celon, and dinner and breakfast at Koi. A Wonderful Stay all around!

The only thing we would change is the morning coffee routine. As much as we really appreciated the quality of the Illy coffee being served, having to get fully dressed to go downstairs to get it wasn’t ideal. Perhaps coffee service available on each floor or a Nespresso device in each room would be more ideal.

Room was a good size with sufficient places for bedside items near the bed and toiletries in the bathroom. Also sufficient plugs for devices. Bedside lighting was good. Shower had good pressure. Housekeeping was excellent. Coffee and muffins in the morning were great (although muffins could have been a little less sticky.) Staff was very helpful when had a problem with hot water.

The lobby could have had more comfortable seating. Also, I lost the WIFI every time I closed my computer, having to re-boot repeatedly to get it back.
