I stayed in IHG hotels before, I like that they have comfortable rooms including a microwave, fridge, and a drip coffee machine (although I would prefer the Nescafe or any other capsule espresso machine). Breakfast included eggs, sausages, baked beans, cinnamon rolls, yogurts, orange/berry juices. So I would say breakfast is good and you don't need to spend time looking for a cafe. I like they have a pool - it is nice to spend some time after long hikes. The location is a bit far from Victoria center, it takes about 20 min by car to get there. For us it was ok, we like researching different districts of cities, not only downtown. Btw, the Hatley Castle is nearby - I recommend visiting it as a hike from the hotel. There is also a park around the castle. But I also strongly recommend visiting the Butchart gardens.

All usb sockets did not work. I would like to see a bathtub in the pool. Ice machines are not on every floor, but you can still find them.

Stores close by, for eating, banking, shopping and purchase of food. Easy access to main highway and facilities. Good breakfast.

Outside noise, low lighting and not enough lighting and room rugs look old and worn.

It was very clean, staff was great. Was so nice to have breakfast and a 24 hour coffee station.

Only thing we wish it had was a better pool area. There was no hot tub and the pool was small and when a few families are in it, it’s really loud as it is such a small space.

Really good breakfast. Not a ton of plant based options but really good for dairy and meat eaters!

We were happy. We filtered for pools and the pool was getting renod so that was a little disappointing but the value was to much it did not effect the quality of our stay.

Awesome checkin process by the staff Taban and Deepansh .. Absolutely 💯 great check in process.. The H.K. staff was great on the 5th floor... But Deepansh and Taban were gem and were just Awesome @ their work.. Definitely would suggest the management to promote them over the hierarchy..

Machines in the gym were fantastic! Gym was quite warm but there was a great fan. Breakfast buffet was appreciated. Loved AC in the room that could be set very low, can’t sleep in a warm room.

Some items in the buffet could have been warmer but this is a minor concern. The food was tasty and great selection!

Location is prime and housekeeping is excellent, front staff are phenomenal

The parking doesn’t feel safe. Advised that motion section cameras be placed in visible locations.

It is in a good location if you want to be on the Westshore, and is fairly central to the region if you have a vehicle. There is a decent hot and continental breakfast every day. There is a good pub/restaurant next door with great pizzas and a nice selection of local craft beer on tap.

The variety at breakfast and the staff were great! Overall, location is close to shops, beaches, and many other things. Plus, a 20 minute drive to downtown Victoria. We enjoyed it.

The gym and the pool are both very small, and no hot tub.

The rooms were clean and the pillows soft. I liked that the bath toiletries were easy to dispense and it was complete (shampoo, conditioner and body wash). There was also body lotion and hand wash at the sink. Breakfast was complete (hot and cold) with an assortment of beverages.

I would have liked additional amenities like room slippers, a robe, and some cotton (ear buds and pads).
