The Elli Greco was a great choice for us, because we wanted a swimming pool. The pool area was lovely (despite the Greek music that we had travelled 7 hours to get away from lol) The food was nice, although slightly more expensive than we expected. The staff were polite and helpful, even made us a toast when we arrived back in the evening and wanted a snack (the kitchen had closed) I would stay there again.

The hotel is a little out of the village and the walk isn't something I would do in the evening as there are no paths and it's dark. We left our car in the local car park so we didn't have to do the walk in the dark. Also, I wasn't impressed with the breakfast, from reviews I expected something better. No cereals, just typical Bulgarian, sliced cheese/ham - small pastries, tomatoes and cucumber, with bread and boiled eggs. Nothing special. .... and maybe a shower curtain would help to stop the bathroom getting wet.

By far, the swimming pool: it was clean, large enough for a small hotel, clear water, very nice. The location: a few mins walking distance from Melnik and quiet. Clean room, clean bed linens and towels, quite a good breakfast (we enjoyed the "pain perdue", especially the kids) for a small hotel and you can enjoy your breakfast near the swimming pool!

The bathroom: very small and it did not have a shower cabin, so when you shower, no matter how carefully, you wet the whole bathroom. We had 2 rooms: one hat mold in a corner. The walls were very thin, not properly isolated. The kids had a sofa in their room and it was stained. The windows sills were not clean.

The hotel is 5’ on foot to Melnik in a green zone and you can find it easily. It has a big private and free parking, a reception always open, a large restaurant and many common areas. The weather was quite warm so we didn’t use either heating or air conditioning. We didn’t try the restaurant for dinner. I liked the breakfast very much: yogurt, jam and fruit in syrup were delicious. Very good value for money

Our room was essential but comfortable, clean and spacious enough, the bathroom was OK but the shower was without protection for water (neither cabin nor curtain).

Very clean, like the cleanliness of my house. Breakfast super, very tasty and really rich. I hope i could have more time to enjoy.

Breakfast starts at 08:30, the lady at the reception told me she could prepare some sandwiches for me to leave early. I went for breakfast at 07:20 and the lady at the kitchen gave a really rich breakfast. Very helpful!!!

Its a really great hotel in the beautiful nature of the village Melnik, a family businness actually, which makes it even warmer as a place because of the kind and caring behavior of the owners. Rooms are medium in space but very delicate, with nice touches, all clean, with great view, a balkony, and noises from the nature (there is even a small river next to the hotel). Breakfast is average, but there is huge menu if you wish to have lunch or dinner, with many choices, traditional or not. There is also a large pool which is really nice, though we didn't have the chance to use it, as it was raining almost all the time. Grass and trees everywhere, makes you feel all your worries and stress go away. Melnik is well known for its wine production, so in the hotel you can enjoy their own wine, or any other of the many that are being produced in the village. It was a great weekend, I totally recommend it for relaxing trip.

Could have a better breakfast, with more options in food and drinks such as sausages or fresh juices for example.

Despite being on the main road to Melnik, it was very quiet. The pool looked very appealing, but I didn't have time to use it. The restaurant seemed well visited, a nice terrace with lots of guests enjoying the summer night. Sufficient and safe parking spots. A 10 mins walk to the city centre. I had to leave in the morning before breakfast but the owner had arranged a well-packed picknick bag for the road.

Nothing, except that I would have wanted to use the pool that looked very inviting.

Everything was perfect in the hotel during our stay. The staff is amazing, very polite and helpful. We turned out to be in a room with hot tub, it was very big surprise for us. In the property there is a big pool and amazing restaurant with very delicious food. I recommend 10000%

Very nice location and very well equipped. I enjoyed the swimming pool and the very good internet service all over the premises. The breakfast was outstanding (5 choices) and staff were very helpful. Good value! Parking on premises.

The shower had no separation (door, curtain or so) to the rest of the bath room. Every time when showering the bath go wet … this is not anymore standard
