This was truly excepcional start of our Spain trip! From greetings to every attentional to detail - this small boutique hotel gives more than one can ever imagine. Loved recommendations of the owners for places to visit, a feeling of a friends you come to visit again. Even the homemade yoghurt and speciality smoothies served by the owners daughter in the morning was a top notch service with authenticity squeezing from every bit under the lemon tree in their garden. Pool, honesty bar full with books and a patio to talk at night was an additional love as well as the white town in the mountains itself, but the Service and the attitude was the absolute best that we got in all of our Spain Trip. Unbeatable excellence.

(Puts “not a bit” in writing) Our fault - we could not make it to Alex recommended six course dinner, as we squeezed to many activities in our day going to Caminito del ray, Ronda and Setenil de las Botegas (as we chose this hotel to be closer to those parts). Won’t ever let that dinner slip again, as we came back and the event was still going and we got a compliment - the special desert.

The Posada is a lovely gem of a place, with little corners and steps everywhere. The owners have made it something very special. The half indoor swimming pool and the honesty bar are great examples of their vision and hospitality. Breakfast was excellent, just the right amount and good coffee. Bars and restaurants are very close by. The room was spacious and beautifully designed with a wonderful view (thank you for the upgrade). The staff were lovely and very helpful!

The bed was comfortable but it bounced a bit when one of us was turning over.

It’s a super charmer. Great Pousada made up out of a few cute houses. Little windy stairs to get too the rooms but nothing crazy nor steep. Rooms are charming and comfortable. Mind the chimes of the nearby church ( earplugs ). Breakfast every morning was delicious. A few days a week you can also have dinner at the Pousada and on the other nights there are many restaurants within a five minute walk. The front desk is extremely helpful with any tips.

The towels need a big upgrade. !! And the distance to Marbella is quite a drive (25 min) along a dark and windy road. Especially daunting after a late night dinner.

This exquisite hotel was amazing, the staff were so tentative and certainly went above and beyond for our needs. VVIP style treatment! The rustic quirky Spanish design was absolutely spot on. Everything has been placed to perfection. The breakfast was delicious and all homemade ingredients. We have travelled the world and this Hotel was top notch. Do not book anywhere else in Ojen, this is the right place to enjoy your stay and experience a stay with a difference. Thank you for hosting us.

The place was amazing our room very beautiful.

The Girl in the reception was very arrogant, no smiling no friendly. Unusual of people who do this kind of job. In the last day I was so happy and I told her that I'm going to make the hotel very famous, she didn't say thank you. instead she answer that is not need for that because they are already famous they are booked the whole year, but I can try if I want. When she answered that the first thing that come to my mind was that she might be a daughter or family of the owner of the hotel. The kind of people that doesn't care.

The staff were all so lovely on arrival. They were warm and welcoming, and every interaction reinforced the family run business experience. Breakfast was very authentic Spanish cuisine, with the special omelette being a particular (exquisite) favourite. On the day that we checked out, we were too early for breakfast. After checking with us, what our plans were the night before, the staff prepared a small package of food to tide us over on our way to the airport. For me this is a perfect example of how accommodating everyone at La Posada del Angel is.

I have no complaints about the property - would thoroughly recommend to anyone!

Lovely little quaint hotel, the traditional nature and layout gave it a truly spanish feel and not another tourist processing plant! The staff were happy and friendly, and despite a short wait for the room to be cleaned when we did get in it was clean and well equipped. The small pool facility was excellent - just perfect to cool off in! The self service bar was ideal, and reasonably priced. Breakfast was outstanding. All in all the owners gave you a really welcoming and personal vibe, and made our whole stay enjoyable. Would love to return one day!

This is an absolutely stunning place to stay. Everything was first class with friendly staff and attention to detail. Lovely location and advice as to great things to do in the area.

We loved absolutely everything, nothing was too much trouble and everything was authentic.

The staff helped us carry our suitcases to and from the car, rich and tasty breakfast in beautiful surroundings.

The room was on the ground floor where the breakfast is in the morning and we found a big bug inside, which disturbed our sleep. I believe it's more comfortable in the rooms upstairs.

Two touring cyclists from Denmark staying 15-17feb 2025: When you are coming to Ojen we can so much recommend to stay at La Posada del Angel with its perfect location in the small whitewashed village. The kindest staff and hosts, brilliant breakfast served at each table and a amazing house.
