Great family bungalows (we booked it to get 2 beds). We had a great beachfront view from our room/balcony. The room was comfortable, with extras like a hairdryer, 2 mirrors, a fridge, etc. Definitely not as “basic” like other reviews had made it sound! There were plenty of chairs for beach lounging, so don’t worry about that, and I didn’t see any sand flies whatsoever (this was another thing I’d read in reviews). The beach was amazing and quiet……with beautiful water……and an easy kayak to Ko Khum right across the way (for an even prettier beach one day!!! Soooo many good things to say!!!! Great food too!!!

Didn’t get new towels and we were there for a number of nights.

My Wife and I had a wonderful stay here. The hosts are very welcoming, happy and helpful. The cabins are traditional and maybe would benefit from a bit of an interior makeover but are very homely. The atmosphere of the resort is extremely relaxed and kind of old fashioned (in a good way) so if you want to get away from it all, it's perfect. The cuisine is outstanding and very reasonably priced. Breakfast is excellent. Scooter hire is available on site to explore the island. The wildlife is an experience with all sorts of wonderful sounds. We enjoyed our evenings out on the balcony too. There was nothing we didn't like, as stated the bungalows are maybe a little tired but then they also have a certain charm which modern facilities lack. As long as you accept them on that basis you will enjoy. Happy Days resort provided us with great memories and we were made to feel very welcome and valued. We hope it doesn't change. Highly recommended.

Comfy Bungalow directly at the beach. Fall asleep to the sound of the waves. Perfect place to relax. Quiet and beautiful surroundings. And they cook really delicious Thai food! The owner even drove us to the bike shop to rent out some bikes which was a wonderful addition to out trip. Look no further, this is a wonderful place! :)

Nothing, it was exceptional!

Lovely remote spot on Koh Mak! Would 100% recommend if you are looking for peace and tranquility. Bungalows are simple but sufficient. Very good lunch and dinner options! Scooter rental available Would definitely come again and will be recommending it to friends and family!

Happy Days is a lovely family run resort with great food and an excellent location. The staff made us feel right at home. We enjoyed being able to rent a scooter to see the island and kayaks to explore nearby Ko Kham and Turtle beach 👍

Peaceful and quiet. Cabin spacious, with nice terrace with comfortable chairs and sea view. Right on the beach, with the forest right behind. Many choices of breakfast (included). Owners very friendly. They picked us up at the boat when we arrived and drove us to the boat when we left. When I was sick to my stomach they even gave me some medicine without me having to ask for it. I hope to come back!

Everything!! My the best stay in Thailand, I told about this place all my friends!! This is incredible! I travelled world but never had own privat beach for myself ! Was 10 steps to the see! Restaurant delicious. Room very clean, had everything what you needed. And cherry on the top was man which is working there! He is fully lovely, doing everything to make your stay better. I wanted stay there longer but was fully booked.

Bungalow with the ocean view. Very testy meals in the restaurants. Really nice staff :)

It was really hot at night (i turned off the AC because couldn’t manage the right temperature). It would be better to have bedsheets instead of blanket.

Comfortable, clean and a lovely family of owners. Food is very good and it is a good value overall. Accommodations are simple but perfect for being just steps from a nearly empty beach.

The location, the beach and the staff are very kind.

If I could recommend if the management could provide some beanbags or comfortable lounge chairs by the beach.
