the hotel room is beautiful and is very clean. people are really friendly and make that you have a great stay. the swimming pool area is nice and big but you can also choose to ly at the beach.

hotel did not come with breakfast. However, they have a restaurant where you can order sandwiches and yogurt. if you like more traditional breakfast, there is a bakery across the street.

Nice location by the beach. Nice atmosphere within Bar & Restaurant. Staff very helpful Motorbike rental on site is available. We had a puncture on 2nd day. Hotel sorted it with a replacement bike immediately. Room was comfortable and clean. Bathroom was modern. Good shower. Location is good with a number Restaurants, small grocery shops, wonderful locally made ice cream shop etc, within walking distance We found some great places for breakfast in the morning as our rate did not include breakfast.

Nothing really given the price point. Room was small particularly with luggage stored, but not unacceptable. Koh Mak is a small island. We weren't looking for a resort.

Superb boutique hotel in a fantastic location, right on the beach with everything you need, including a marvellous cafe/sandwich bar and shop, right on your doorstep. The rooms are spotlessly clean with comfortable beds and modern facilities. There is an on-site restaurant and the food is the closest you will get to fine dining in the Trat district. Finally, the staff. Warm, friendly, attentive and nothing is too much. A special mention for the manager, Jane. What an amazing person, such a professional who literally appears everywhere and seems to do everything. She leads her team by example and is an absolute asset! We very seldom receive such high quality customer service- anywhere in the world.

Nothing about the property but be wary to protect against sand flies at the beach.

This place is great value and we really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms are nicely laid out with a good sized bathroom & very clean - fresh towels everyday. Our room was on the ground floor and looked over the pool that was never crowded and as the rooms was very clean. The beach, bar and restaurant is the same and has a lovely feel about it although sometimes staff were a bit scarce - the sun beds - there’s only about were always busy so if you plan a day at the beach get one reserved early. There are also lots of beanbags and hammocks so you’ll always be able to find somewhere to sit. This part of the island is the liveliest- it’s not busy though - some people from other resorts said they felt a little isolated needing to use buggies or bikes to get around. There is a great choice of restaurants. Massage and there’s even a couple of mini markets and a pharmacy - so you can pretty much buy anything you need on the island. We had no problems with sandflies- just get some decent 50% deet spray and use it morning and night and after a swim The island as a whole has a lovely laid back vibe and we loved it here.

There are a few rocks - big ones close to shore - be careful not to stub your toes- in the positive side - the same rocks are home to some lovely fish

This is a lovely, new, beautiful hotel, with great staff. The location is great, on its own bit of beach, and has nice sun loungers. the pool is very nice, large and clean. Bed was comfy (which is rare in Thailand!) and rooms are new and really nice. Balcony is also lovely. Staff are really excellent and can't do enough for you. They will book you boats, etc, anything you want. location is very good - right by anything you need, strips of restaurants, a bakery, cafes, etc. It has its own little minimal and also cafe and beach bar/restaurant on site where they have live music. Everything is extremely clean. I would stay here again as its almost crtainly the best hotel on the island - and definitely recommend it!

The beach restaurant is v.expensive, which is a shame as I hear the food and cocktails there are really good, but we didn't eat there due to price. Still loads of alternatives nearby. They had live music one night & let some drunk English tourist up on stage to try to sing for hours, who was the worst singer - and kept interupting the real singer. It was painful. Everyone was leaving but no-one stopped him, I just think maybe monitor the stage a bit more so that we are not all sitting there in pain from tourists attempting bad karaoke for hours. Real local guitarist singer was great! That is probably not a common occurance though. 🤣

Perfect location, it seems to be in the centre of every where that I wanted to visit and explore. A beautiful comfortable and cosy pool space with the beach directly behind it, just in front of the restaurant , which is a lovely and comfortable space to also chill, eat and relax. There are also quite a few local food spots within walking distance as well as laundry services.

The water from the shower was warm but not very hot, but this wasn’t a major issue as the weather was hot at the time of my visit

Very luxurious guesthouse right on the beach. Stayed for five nights as part of our honeymoon and liked every second of it.

Bit pricey and breakfast could've been included. Otherwise everything about the hotel and staff was ok, however I was not happy on how they handled my transportation back to harbor. I had booked an early speedboat back to mainland and the reception promised that the transportation would be there at 7:20. The car never came, there was no personnel around and no-one answered when I tried to call them. Ended up needing to take a taxi.

This was an amazing stay, I was there for nearly a month and because it's low season, I was the only guest most of that time. At first I was worried, but it worked out beautifully. The staff treated me like family, I got into a good routine with my work and being social at the cafe and the bar, the coffee is really good and the food was awesome too. I appreciated that they only had glass water bottles that were refilled and that their menu was based on what was available so that there wasn't wastage. The pool was awesome and also the hammock outside my room. They have a few dogs that were very friendly too. I can't express how much this felt like home during my stay and in particular Pawn and Arthur went out of their way to see that I had a most amazing time, all the staff were great and I enjoyed being able to speak Khmer with the Cambodian team members. I absolutely loved it and will be visiting again!

Due to the low season a few things changed along the way, I understand that it was necessary and all was okay once I adapted. Most nights the bar music was super loud, even when there weren't any guests, I would have enjoyed it more with quieter music where I could enjoy dinner and a drink with a nice atmosphere.

On day one we had an issue, that was solved professionally within 30min. For the rest it was feeling at home. Very, very friendly crew, immaculately clean, and ... just a good place to be. We returned for some more days after our first stay. If you go to the restaurant, try the bouillabaisse. The "sandwiches" at the cafe are huge and yummy.

When booking we thought it was a bit expensive, but I think that is unavoidable if you want to offer service and quality.
