It is an amazingly beautiful, peaceful and comfortable stay! I was truly amazed to the attention to detail in designing the layout of the beautiful lush gardens and the bungalows.It's also very well kept and clean. The beds are comfortable. It's about 5 minutes on foot to the nearest beach. A more beautiful beach is about 20 min on foot. The staff was lovely and helpful with organization of tours and transport. I would highly recommend staying here. I hope to visit again one day.

A really beautiful place to stay in lush gardens with exceptionally wonderful staff ("Oil") to help you with everything you need. The owners and their family are beautiful people with a wonderful mission for their passion, Wave-F. I felt so welcome the moment I arrived there and the rooms were kept spotless by the thorough cleaning team. An easy recommendation.

Wave-F is in a cozy, beautiful garden setting with great food. I want to take a moment the thank the owner Pang, the sweet receptionist, Oy, and the staff for just being awesome! There was a leak in my roof one night from from harsh rainfall all night (they said they fixed it now! Room 4)- and all of my clothes got soaked. They immediately came to wash all of my clothes for free and upgraded me to a lovely bungalow for the night. Plus, they refunded my room for that night. Accidents occur and I didn’t complain much so I was surprised and grateful they refunded me. The upgrade was awesome! But sadly only for one night. I recommend booking those rooms instead of the basic- better showers. If you want a clean stay where you feel welcome and at home- this is your place!

Owners and Luig and Pang (and their children) were simply wonderful hosts. The bungalows are small but don’t let that put you off. They are well maintained, very clean and the bed was comfortable. The environment the bungalows are in is beautiful, surrounded by nature, which for us included a visitor from the local monkeys. The food in the restaurant (which is also open to non-guests) was incredible. I totally recommend the pork Hor Mok Maprao orn, which is served in a coconut. The rice soup for breakfast was simply delicious. (Western choices are available too, plus a fantastic yoghurt and fruit bowl.) Guests can access free tea, coffee and biscuits 24 hours a day. The environmentally-friendly owners actively encourage guests to fill reusable water bottles from their chilled water dispenser to cut down on plastic usage. There’s also a fridge at reception stocked with soft drinks and beers that you can purchase. Location is excellent, a short scooter ride (which you can hire on-site) from grocery stores, places to eat and the beach. The roads are calm, it’s easy to get around the island. Don’t overthink it - book it!

A calm and serene setting, with a perfectly tended tropical garden amid a tropical forest. A feel good place. Very nice owners and staff (who helped me care for my son when he was feverish and sick). Excellent breakfast that pays attention to the (also aesthetic) detail. A scooter is needed to get to some nice beaches nearby - but riding one is not too difficult even for newbies, as there is hardly any traffic. Wave-F rents good scooters for good value. I stayed there for four days with my teenage son. Next time we may well stay a bit longer.

Prices are at their peak at Christmas and New Year, and I was perhaps a bit surprised about the value for money relation … but this is also the best season in Thailand, with pleasant temperatures day and night and sunshine and blue skies for weeks in a row.

We loved our stay in the cutest bungalow! The staff here couldn’t have been more friendly and helpful! They even helped us carry our stuff to our room, and checked in with us about how we slept etc, so polite! The bungalow itself was perfect, we slept so well. And the whole place has a really peaceful jungle feel to it. We rented a scooter to explore the island on and they were very trusting of us. They even cleaned our room daily, which we felt embarrassed about on the first day as we had left our stuff everywhere! There’s complimentary tea and coffee and water, and the restaurant serves really good food. 10/10!

Wave F was a great stay for us, we stayed nights and really enjoyed out time here. The Guest House is located in a lovely quiet spot which we loved. Lovely grounds and staff really made it a pleasant stay. Everyone we spoke to was lovely and super helpful, we can't praise them enough for how lovely they were. The rooms are small but comfy with nice beds and good aircon. Just keep the curtains closed to keep the heat of the sun out if you're not in the room otherwise they get very warm! We hired a scooter from the hotel which worked great and cost baht a day. This was probably one of the better scooters we've rented in our time in Thailand! You do really need a scooter to get around to the best bits of the island so definitely recommend this. We had breakfast at the hotel most days, it's not included in the room rate but they offer a few set meals that are all really nice and fairly priced compared to the other options nearby. Between us we tried all the dishes and the bowl was definitely a highlight. Overall a great place to stay and highly recommended if you're visiting Koh Kood!!

Nothing! We had a great stay, we didn't have internet in our room when we were there as they had unfortunately had an animal chew through the cable. They were trying really hard to get this fixed but had to order parts from the mainland so this took a few days. You have to expect these things if you're staying on a remote island though! They staff were really apologetic but we didn't mind as it was obviously completely out of their control!

Beautiful accommodation set within lovely peaceful gardens. We booked a superior room which had large comfy bed, fridge and bathroom. Was spotless and cleaned daily during our seven day stay. Staff and owners very helpful. Can hire scooters from here and they will arrange trips, laundry service, taxis etc. would totally recommend this place although like most places on the island you will need a scooter to get around They have a lovely cat too!!! And the food is fab too!!

Nothing to dislike

Stayed here 3 nights, and wouldve stayed longer if there were availability! The property is nestled in a beautiful fairy tale like jungle area, with bungalows overlooking gardens. The bungalows are nice and clean, with a soft bed. There is an onsite restaurant, as well as scooter rental, making it easy to get to nearby beaches. The owner is also super kind and even drove me to my next hotel upon check out. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel and can’t wait to stay again.

The bungalows are surrounded by a very nice garden with lots of plants and we liked being at the very back of the garden, where it was more peaceful and further away from the road. The bungalow is very spacious, clean with very convenient mosquito screening, a comfortable large bed and it has a very decent shower with good water pressure. The bungalow was cleaned and bed made up every day. The location is great as you can easily walk to the local village, where there are some decent seafood restaurants and a lovely beach. You can also hire a scooter at a good price on the way to the village. What I love most about this place is waking up to all the amazing birdsong and nature’s melody in the early morning.

The restaurant is a little pricey and breakfast is not included. We had a problem with a swarm of termites when we returned home after dinner on our final evening. Whilst this is just nature, unpredictable and not the fault of the owner, a heads up or recommendation to not leave the porch light on when leaving the bungalow would have been helpful. We were made to feel like it was our fault for leaving the light on and we are not experts on the local nature.
