I liked the facilities! The staff, Pai- the manager was so helpful and kind. The resort is kind of isolated from the other resorts so they offer all of the guests a kayak to go around and a boat that can take you to the nearest dock. You can rent a bike at a location just near the resort and drive around the island. There is a beach in front of the hotel and behind the hotel, with white sand and crystal clear water. You can see the fish from the hotel deck. I could seat there for hours. You can see a beautiful sunset from the hotel. We really had an amazing time. One of the highlights of our trip.

We stayed here for 2 nights, and that wasn't enough, certainly. If we had known how much time it takes to get to Koh Kood from Pattaya (10 hours), we would have booked for not less than 4 nights. The place is wonderful. You really find yourself in a fairytale in this isolated place surrounded by the water and jungles. The atmosphere is most home-like, everybody is very friendly. Lizards, squirrels and birds come visiting at night. You can get a kayak and go exploring any beach or island you want, and this makes the resort one of a kind. I would recommend it as a perfect spot for honeymoons. Although it may be not the best option for families with kids.

The bathroom badly needs remodelling. The equipment is old and leaky. There is neither hair conditioner nor toothpaste provided. There's no fridge in the room. There's no coffee for breakfast, that was my biggest disappointment here.

Absolutely magical. The approach to the resort is like something out of a film and sets the tone for an unforgettable stay. The venue exceeded all my expectations. It’s truly a treasure of a setting. Having travelled round the island it’s definitely the best spot. The staff are all very friendly and the manager is particularly hands-on and extremely helpful in orchestrating any request, personalising your stay. It was SPOT ON! Can’t wait to return.

The breakfast was the only disappointment. Although there is a large choice for the Asian palette, for the western palette it’s not really enough. There is hardly any fruit selection and healthy option. Only egg and very cheap tasting sweet bread. If they can add more options for westerners like muesli, yoghurt, pastries it would help greatly!

It's an amazing setting, there's a beach 30m in front with white sand and a swing and mangrove trees all around, the rooms all have an exceptional view, all the staff are so nice and helpful, and you can only access it via a short boat ride (5mins) through the mangroves which is always free (available 7:30am to 9pm) . There are even free kayaks you can use, and get to Ko Raet which has a small reef and sunken statues that now are part of the reef. An amazing snorkelling spot. The bartender is an artist also, all drinks beautiful and delicious. You can also rent scooters to drive around the island from Bann Makok, which is an even shorter boat ride and also free to get to. Breakfast is a free buffet with lots of options, and there's also free coconut ice cream available throughout the day with juices that change every day (our favourite was butterfly pea).

The restaurant is a bit expensive compared to other places on the island and the food isn't as good, but as I said you can rent a scooter to get anywhere. The drinks were also fairly pricy but as mentioned the bartender is amazing so it was worth it. The beds were also quite hard but that's a matter of preference.

The location is amazing. Only reachable by a little boat, you’re out on the rocks on a peninsula looking across to an empty white sand beach, which you can wade across to. Snorkelling directly off the deck, and just a peaceful and wonderful ambiance, quiet and relaxing. We stayed at four different places in Koh Kood, and this was the only place we had decent cocktails - the mixologist was great! Pai, the manager, is also just incredible at his job. Welcoming, friendly, helpful.

The beds are a bit uncomfortable (too hard), and the food was a little meh… you’re paying for the gorgeous location, and it’s still worth it, definitely recommend! :) With a few small upgrades like the beds, it’d be paradise

It is a beautiful location just like paradise Our pool villa was amazing Clear seas loads of fish Staff very helpful and friendly nothing too much trouble They arranged bikes for us on main island so. We could explore a little. We had bbq first night which was also amazing . Kayaks are free to use and you can hire paddle boards .

Only 6 sun beds so if you do want to stay on resort for day with visitors who come for the day it’s limited. No where comfortable to sit in the evening if you don’t want a kids size chair or a beanbag I would suggest they open a little shop for essentials as there’s nothing on the resort

The location is unique (on a river, only accessible by boat) with a beautiful view on the ocean. The landscape is wonderful. This place has a lot of potential.

The staff is terrible, it seems they were never trained as they weren’t even capable of serving us a coffee on time. 99% of them didn’t speak English which made it difficult. The food was too expensive and not good (frozen fish). The room is not comfortable, my neck hurt from the pillows, the towels had some stains and we saw a mouse on the hotel bar and other animals on our terrace.

Such a beautiful location, peaceful and secluded although a little tricky to get to but worth it for the views, beautiful sunset, lush rooms (felt very lucky) and the staff are very kind and so helpful and accomodating. They really look after us well. The room was really clean, amazing bathroom.

Can be a little hard to go anywhere else on island as have to organise a boat there and back to any other part of island but this can be worth it for the peace and seclusion. Recommend staying here for start or end of your island trip if you are seeing things around the other parts of Koh Kood too

Facilities are a bit dated, but the friendliness and attentiveness of staffs offset all the issues. The view is amazing and the food is great at reasonable price. We went there during low season so there were a bit of rain but not deterred us from enjoying the sea.

The room is a bit old, even though comfortable but really need some refurbishment.

Our mini villa was amazing with an incredible patio with a view and small plunge pool to cool off. Service was excellent. It was an amazing and quiet spot.

The food could have been better quality- there was plenty of it but it was not as good as many of the small places we hit during our travels.
