We had the junior suite .The room was at second floor and the view from the windows was amazing.The room was enough spacious for 3 persons ,decorated with the tradiotional style of the area and the breakfast was very good.Big advantage the parking because in the mountain ,this is difficult

There was a problem with the communication the day of arrival but finally i found the msn fron the reception.The small road path to the village is bad and in many placesbroken and someone haw to be carefull

The views from the Hotel room and the terrace outside were amazing. It is located on the slope of the mountain and is therefore very quiet, the room was comfortable, the breakfast was delicious. The Hotel has its own parking that is very useful in a mountain village where parking is a problem. The staff were very nice and welcoming!

We found the bed mattress a bit too hard. Of course this is a personal preference, therefore other guests might not be bothered by that at all.

The hosts vere welcoming, the view is magnificent, the owners made a real effort to refurbish the house keeping its old mountain house atmosphere.

Our room was incredibly small for a family room and really dark. We wanted to change it, but couldn't. The shower was so tiny, it was impossible to move in it. The access to the hotel parking is a bit challenging. Careful which road you take from Volos - the only option that is usable is the one through Portaria, the other one (and the more direct option) is closed and for good reason. A flooding in 2023 destroyed the road, it is very dangerous.

The staff was very helpful (even if they werent at the location), they contacted me ahead to let me know the roads were bad and guided me to a parking space. The manager even assisted me with having food delivered at the hotel. The hotel is traditional and has pittoresque views. It is very high. The staff and the view are the 2 things we most appreciated there.

It is the shoulder season here, the roads are in construction and getting there was very challenging to say the least if you are not used to super narrowed and elevated roads, if it wasn't for that very helpful call we got form the manager we would have followed the GPS which would have taken us thought a dangerous road. When we got there it was a hotel (not an AirBNB) but there was no staff on the site, they operate remotely but they are very available on the phone and answers quickly. Note that there are no elevators and a few staircases if you have big luggage... Being in the shoulder season (May) we had some issues with our room (the A/C wouldn't work, the mini fridge didnt work, stuff like that...)but they gave us the room next door to ours and resolve all our issues.

Terrific if you’re fairly confident driving in the mountains in Greece. Get driving directions from the owner before, otherwise Google will take you on a route that is appropriate only if you’re on a donkey or are driving a tank. Then turn Google off and follow the signs. Once you arrive, you will completely forget about any hassle you had getting there. It is gorgeous, peaceful and beautiful. Just make sure you don’t forget to pack any personal items you need, it’s a long way down and back. Definitely a highlight of our trip in the area

The drive to and from

Wonderful views and very good location, close to the historical centrr.The village is charming and sleeping here is definitely worth it! You can enjoy it at day and in the evening, and the views from the venue terrace are stunning. The staff was very kind. Breakfast is very good!

Private parking is nice, but it's located on a closed road, which is a bit slippery, be careful if you have a motorbike.

Very good location in a quiet and wonderful area, exceptional view from the room window and also from the terrace. Excellent breakfast, the local sweets/pies were absolutely delicious. The staff was really friendly, polite and made us feel very welcome. Good value for money. Really recommend this accomodation.

You might struggle to drive on the road from Makrinitsa to the property, the road is under construction and a bit dangerous for a new driver.

Clean. Cozy mountain hotel. Although modest, delicious breakfast (lots of sweet offerings). Easy communication, clear arrival instructions, although the streets are very narrow all the way to the hotel. Hospitable service during breakfast. Beautiful mountain view.

the place is run by a lovely couple, who were very attentive & hospitable!!! The hotel is beautiful & located at the best place to enjoy both the center of the village & also to be reached by a car, and the big bonus is that it has a parking lot ! the breakfast was very tasty & good, and included all the delicious pastries of Greece

As a vegetarian, I always love to eat some vegetables at breakfast but there were a lot of fruits, and a wonderful greek yogurt.
