Le Stanley is an older hotel now and a little scruffy, but we found it to be excellent value for money. The staff were friendly and helpful and the male manager was particularly good.

We had some problems with our bed and microwave but the hotel dealt with these issues quickly and to our complete satisfaction. The hotel is quite a way from the city centre but that worked fine for us because we had time to travel by bus and got to know the locals, who were extremely friendly and helpful.

Space, room design, balcony/view

Lack of kitchen items (no pans/pots, flutes, cork openner,coffee machine filters etc.) Cleaness of the "corners" (e.g. toilet door bottom) was low. Free Internet limit of 250Mb per day is pathetic.

I absolutely loved how quiet and peaceful it was and proximity to water.

I would have loved some more information about what's close to the hotel such as places to see and bus times and local restaurants

We loved the view from the deck of our room. We thought the staff were friendly. We loved that it was slightly out of town but with excellent links to everything. It was quiet. The kitchenette was just what we wanted. Good off-road parking.

Aspects of the room were a little tired but it was very clean and the value for money reflected that it wasn't top of the range. We were pleased that we were able to borrow cooking equipment as it was not available in the room.

View was fabulous over Saint Marie Bay. Our room was basic but had everything we needed. We loved the option in the morning of fresh on site fresh baked croissant and baguette for breakfast, from the reception area.

A little bit isolated from local restaurant options.

Breakfast was delicious with fresh cake daily.loved the view and jetty for viewing corals and a fisherman.veryquireeell appointed room with little shop of food alcohol purchases.

Wifi connectivity weirdly unattainable

Amazing clear water in the marine reserve that offered an abundance of sea life! Breakfast was great.

Other buffet meals totally over priced. Rooms had no self catering equipment at all.

Good value and location. Beautiful waterfront views from our room. Clean, and comfortable.

Kitchen appliances and cookware needed asking for, not in room.

The windows overlook the sea directly. Interesting architecture of the building. Good parking. There were wine glasses. This is a rarity for New Caledonia.

The view was stunning on the bay.

We asked reception to order food for us, and they told us that it would cost us 45 XPF a minute to talk?????
