The property is close to restaurants, beach and shops. It has a panoramic rotating restaurant on the 19th floor to view the island while eating. The doors have good protection against noise. The rooms are functional like a home not like a walk in/out hotel where you must seek and find every facility or convenience. Sometimes we can pay a lot more elsewhere and not get more than a kettle in the room. This can be expensive for people who have long stays. So we appreciate where sometime quantity over quantity matters in short stints to spend money where it matters (experiences outside of the room). Short cheap taxi ride to city. I cannot fault the staff. Very kind and welcoming.

We only stayed 2 nights (we stayed in 3 hotel experiences across New Caledonia within our stay -including an island) to see other parts of Nouméa. Each Hotel played a role /resource in our stay. Even though it is close to everything, the property does not have a main walkthrough access to shops. Instead, you have to walk around the block each time. The rooms are a bit dated but I liked that it had a fully functional kitchen (which we needed to store wine and deli meats/cheese).

The studio room was a decent size we had two of them. The hotel accommodated us by putting the two rooms together which was very nice of them. The rooms were cleaned every day and restocked with friendly staff. The reception were friendly and helpful if needed. The pool and sports bar area was relaxing and convenient for a drink and cooling off. It's a nice lagoon pool with landscaping in sun and shade. We stayed 5 nights and we're generally happy with most things.We think it's reasonable value for a family on a budget.

Ok so some reviews mention some maintenance issues, however it didn't affect us too much as we had two rooms between a family of 4. Shower head in one room wouldn't work and stay in its holster! Otherwise our room worked fine. The toilet ran sometimes and didn't flush sometimes! It was quirky but generally we didn't complain! It's not modern and could do with a refresh....but it's acceptable.

I liked the staff: nice, funny, smiling and helpful. The place is so quiet, that was a must. The beds were comfortable and looked clean. We didn't have time to book for the restaurant but next time, we'll try it.

The parking lot access was a bit tricky, the bathtub was small and old, the air conditioner made so much noise during the night, we had to turn if off.

Based on the reviews, I was expecting it to be pretty run down and shabby, and it is by major international hotel chain standards, but it was still good. The room was really big, the pool was pleasant. The bed wasn’t very comfy. Very clean. Nice vibe overall.

The bed was two singles made up as double, fairly standard expect the singles were both saggy with a ridge at the edge, so you can’t really sleep in the middle of the bed. Stingy on the coffee and soap - two sachets of Nescafé for the whole stay, one tube of each shampoo, shower gel and lotion (no conditioner).

The staff were lovely despite very trying time to be in Noumea (during the riots and subsequent curfews). The room was lovely the pool was perfect. The hotel was a short walk to two beautiful beaches and loads of cafes and restaurants.

Our timing for our trip meant we couldn't explore too far, but that is not the fault of the hotel. We still really enjoyed our time at the Ramada.

The property was in a great location, close to the beach and popular restaurants. Rooms were nice and clean, and staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

There were some issues with the elevator during our stay. We were situated next to the elevator doors so it was loud at times.

Great location - close to beachfront cafes etc. Staff are friendly and nothing a problem. Excellent pool, outdoor bar and a fitness centre. Room had large balcony, comfortable bed and well equipped kitchen. We stayed 6 nights, and will definitely be back. One of the best hotels we have stayed in.

The space, privacy and view from our room was nice; housekeeping daily so everything was clean; hotel staff was friendly; location is great not too far from Anse Vata beachfront; bar, pool, gym and 360 restaurant was great too.

Nothing everything was easy to access and had a great stay.

I loved my well appointed apartment with views over the Coral Sea. Great to have well equipped kitchen and laundry, lounge and dining area. The balcony was really large and a number of long lunches and sunset drinks on it. Fabulous. The beach and lots of great things were in walking distance. Reception staff very helpful and professional.

Great property with a lagoon-style pool and only a block or two back from the beach. The staff were awesome and the restaurant upstairs a great place to dine. There’s also an excellent French bakery just up the road (about a 10 min walk)
