Grat value for money. Nice place and clean . Huge balcony

Little bit run down but still clean and nice. Don't forget that this is a residence with non serviced apartments. Don't expect anything different. You'll need to do your shopping for washing powder, dishwasher soap, toilet paper (you got one when arrive), etc... like you are at home. We knew and brought some just for our 6 days stay, so, all sorted out

Location, location, location!!! In between two lovely beaches facing different directions, so that one of them will always be sheltered from the wind. You can snorkel with the coral and the fish in Baie de Citron, swim or go windsurfing at Anse Vata, eat at the restaurants along both beaches, shop at the little grocery stores at Anse Vata. It’s a perfect location and the views are excellent.

Yes, you can hear the restaurants and the live music from the streets below, but we didn’t have any small children trying to sleep, and we asked for a room up high, so it wasn’t really a problem. The place is no-frills, but that’s what makes the price so very attractive. The staff were all very polite and helpful and spoke English. I packed some detergent and an extra tea towel and tea bags, on the strength of other people’s comments; I recommend bringing a sharp knife if you plan to do all your own cooking otherwise you will have trouble preparing vegetables and meat.

I have stayed here a couple of times. The location is excellent. Close to restaurants, bars, entertainment, public transport. Our 2 bedroom apartment was large with a spacious kitchen and living area plus a lovely balcony overlooking the bay.

The apartment is extremely minimalist! A couple of toilet rolls provided for our stay of 10 days! There is no dishwashing liquid or tablets, no salt and pepper, rubbish bags or tea and coffee. You must take or buy anything you need. It would be handy to make it known what exactly is in the apartment so you can bring anything extra with you!

A nice and very large apartment, but the building feels old and not extremely well maintained. As everybody else mentions, there is no kitchen dish soap or sponge provided. The view from the balcony is great, but with an ongoing construction of some large complex right in front of it, the views may change in a few months or a year, depending on which side of the building you are.

Excellent location, superb views from balcony - one part of building facing Baie des Citron the other Anse Vata. HOWEVER, the side facing Baie Des Citrons suffers badly from noise pollution from loud music into the early hours of the morning. We have stayed at Casa Del Sole before and specifically requeste Anse Vata views. I

The noise pollution from loud music mentioned above. Whilst it did not affect us, THIS WOULD BE A MAJOR PROBLEM TO MANY. Since our last visit ibn 2020, the noise from the disco etc has got worse!!! Kitchen utensils sparse - just adequate.

Stove top in kitchen not working. Leaky plumbing under kitchen sink.

Location was ideal being in the centre of things. Even the centre of town was within reasonable walking distance. Very good cafes and restaurants along Lemon Bay. Location very good as at the juncture between two bays and sets of beaches. Very good views from the 9th floor. Excellent No3 bus service runs up and down the western beaches to the City Centre and stops at the terminal where all the bus routes cross.

No kitchen disposable items such as soap, washing up liquid and tea towels, which were also not available in the mini shop on the Ground Floor. Had to go to a very good supermarket about 1.5 kms away. No supermarkets at Lemon Bay, although there was a good local shop just past the northern end. Many places closed on Monday.

There are not enough facilities in the kitchen, no cutting knives so you could not cook there. They also only provide toilet paper for 1 day. You are supposed to but more which is not satisfactory for what you pay as we also had to bring dishwashing liquid with us.

Views were fantastic and great location between lemon bay and anse vate beaches. Staff were friendly. Used translator as i do not speak french. Units are very large.

Room smelled of smoke.staff explained people can smoke on balconies but someone had smoked in room. As other reviews say bring chux, washing up liquid, laundry powder if want to use washing machine as nothing supplied. Also bring extra toilet paper as only one supplied if staying longer. Non serviced apartments. Units have some damage eg cracks in walls cornice damage due to wear and tear.

Perfect location on Lemon Bay, with great restaurants and bars a minutes walk. 5 minutes from the swimming beach - with shark net. Maybe 10 minute walk to Anse Vata beach, which was closed for swimming - but good cafes. Supermarket was a good 20 minute walk. We didn't bother using a bus, but bus stop outside hotel. Our 1 bedroom unit was 4th floor with a massive balcony for amazing sunset views.. A couple of big outdoor lounges were a bonus for catching the sun while reading. Great to have a washing machine and dishwasher. Didn't need to turn on the AC but looked workable. Furnishings were minimal, but that's the way we like it. We took heed of the reviews and packed our own washing,dishwasher powder and detergent. No worries but recommended. In hindsight should have packed a sharp knife. Didn't try the pool, but it looked clean.. Wifi (not free but ok price) was great - dropped a couple of times but hey. Staff were friendly but we struggled with the language barrier - our fault.

Not really a problem but wished they had a tourist map to show where the supermarket etc was.
