An amazing place! The view over the valley is incredibly beautiful, and the host is very responsive. We were delayed in Verona and arrived around midnight. We took a few wrong turns on the way, but eventually found the right road. The host waited for us and helped us settle into our rooms. There’s parking on the property and plenty of space to sit, relax, and chat. We asked for some wine and cheese and had a wonderful evening under the stars. In the morning, we were greeted with fresh breakfast and coffee! A perfect alternative to hotels — fresh air and complete freedom!

We like to stay in agriturisimos when we are in Italy. Casa Rosa was a few kilometers to the North East of Verona so it fitted in with our plans. Our booking confirmation contained a warning that Casa Rosa was a farm and we shouldn't complain! That made us unsure about what we should expect. We need not have worried. The final part of the road to Casa Rosa was steep, narrow and rutted in places. If you arrive with a low slung sports car, you could be upset but our small saloon managed without difficulty. Once there you are in a tranquil setting high over the valley with beautiful views and fresh mountain air. Our room was not particularly large but it was more than adequate. We were served an evening meal of pasta and Ragu that was made on the premises. Local beers and wines are provided. The menu can be viewed online (they can send you a link) so it would be worth checking that out in advance, especially if you wanted a dish that needs to be cooked slowly. They produce their own olive oil, and meat and sell local products. The evening meal was delicious as was the breakfast we only stayed the night but I'd gladly return.

The final part of the road but if you take it slowly, there is no problem

If you're dreaming of the simple life with views of rolling hills and vineyards, deck chairs waiting for you among spring flowers under the shade of olive trees, and delicious home cooked food with local produce, then this is the place for you! I loved everything about this stay, the rooms were cosy, clean and comfortable and had everything you needed, there were beautiful walks to take nearby, the internet worked well so I could work during the day, and the hosts were warm and welcoming.

I didn't want to leave!

Marco and his family were wonderful hosts the entire time, from start, to dinner, to finish. We absolutely loved the location, with birds and bees and lots of lovely animals singing their joy. The symphony of birds as the morning alarm was a gift. The room was nice and well appointed, if a touch small with our dog. The breakfast was superb, with plenty on offer and most locally sourced or homemade items (like their jam, salami and olive oil). Lastly the peaceful garden outside the rooms, with plenty of comfy chairs, becons in the morning and afternoon respites. We will not hesitate to stay again, as the value was spectacular. The rooms do have a/c and heat, but we didn't need either.

The bathroom was a bit cramped.

We had a fair night sleep. Unfortunately air conditioning wasn't working properly and the room was pretty warm. We kept the window fairly open to allow some cool air to get in unfortunately in the morning we were awakened by noise of people walking by and sunlight (there are no shutters and the curtain do not do a great job. breakfast was good with a good amount of savoury and sweet options. I would have liked different types of cheeses and hams (there was only 1 choice) and more availabily on bread. Cappuccino was decent. We enjoyed having breakfast outside on the veranda with the beautiful view.

Property is part of a farm, a bit off road required to access it but worth the drive. Amazing view, very quite slept in a comfortable bed without any kind of noise. Breakfast complete with local products from the farm. Cheese and yougurt home made. Cappuccino still in my mouth

Small remark to the fact the host don’t speak English, but still make the effort and we managed to understand each other. My Italian improved

We absolutely loved our stay here. The family was so kind and welcoming, and the location was great. Breakfast was amazing with many wonderful homemade products served on the hilltop terrace with a fantastic view overlooking the valley and down into Verona. It was a very short drive into old town Verona, and the Verona parking recommendation from the owner was perfect for a safe and easy place to leave our car while exploring Verona on foot. We enjoyed a delicious dinner both evenings of our stay. The second evening we had planned to dine out in Verona but after a hot day strolling around the city, enjoying a leisurely, peaceful dinner of delectable home-cooked pasta, garden-grown vegetables, and olive oil made right there at the farm whilst sitting on the shady terrace soaking in a splendid view was too appealing to pass up. A/C in the comfortable room worked great, and we loved striking up a friendship with the donkey. I highly recommend a stay here!

Wish we had booked a longer stay!

The accommodation reflects a rustic character and some areas may show signs of wear, the genuine charm of the location more than makes up for it. The highlight of the stay is undoubtedly the outstanding local cuisine, for which we extend our heartfelt thanks to Marco and his team.

Casa Rosa is an Oasis of relaxation and Italian hospitality. The rooms were great and the surroundings are simply stunning. The home cooked meals were such a treat and the kids loved the freedom to roam around the farm and visiting the pigs, horses, sheep’s, and if course the super cute donkey Rocko. They played with the three dogs every day and did not want to leave. Marco and Simonetta are wonderful hosts and we felt as part of their family. Verona is just a 20 min drive from Casa Rosa.

The place is wonderful. Very quiet and peaceful. 15 mn from Verona. The owner is very nice. The breakfast is wonderful. And you can eat in the evening with local product. Quite good. A very good Adress. Thanks for everything. If you go to Verona ask for the Centro parking. 1 euro per hour. Not expensive and direct to the centrum.
