I had to spend the night in Istanbul because I have a long connecting flight. I was looking for a hotel based on a budget of 45-50 euros. Hotels with a rating of 6-7 were the first to come across, and many people wrote that they were disappointed upon arrival. Then I started looking for a hotel with an 8+ rating and this hotel was on the list. All my expectations were met. 1) Salih - very friendly host of the hotel. Very polite; 2) Polite transfer driver; 3) My number was exactly what I saw in the picture. The room is very clean, everything is neatly prepared for my arrival everywhere; 4) I managed to get a good night's sleep (this is very important) and have breakfast. 5) Beautiful view from the windows.

It's close to Istanbul Airport, takes to 10 minutes to go there. Manager Salih is a great person, genial, and helpful, I would like to thank him again. My room was also very clean with brand new furniture. They don't have a kitchen but manager Salih can order amazing Turkish food when you need it. I look forward to staying again in Smart Airport Hotel.

If you want to be close to the city center, you may find a different hotel near to the city. For me it was OK.

Before my arrival, I looked on Google maps that it would be difficult to get there by public transport. Then I read reviews on the site that the hotel organizes a transfer. I contacted the hotel and booked a transfer. I warned that my phone would not work in Turkey. The hotel sent me the coordinates of the meeting with the taxi in advance. The transfer was organized at the highest level. There were no problems.

Вespite there was a battery, it was pretty cool. High audibility in the room. In the next room a woman was talking on the phone for a very long time. It felt she was there and I couldn't sleep for a long time. There was no hair dryer in the room

The staff/owner was really kind. Not only kind on my arrival, but Salih also drove me to the airport when the driver didn’t arrive on time

There was no sign where the hotel actually was. I arrived late, the doors were closed and I had a moment of panic, until Salih found me. Also there’s no reception, so a similar moment of what to do now happened in the morning. I used the hotel for a single night for a long layover, and by the location (and name), I believe a lot of people do that. These are improvement points for the future

Location is 15 mins from the airport, very convenient and good value for money. the shower has strong pressure and hot water, love it! staff are nice, they will help you with taxi booking. They have basic breakfast, not fancy and fully adequate for its purpose. Views were really nice.

One recommendation is to save the location on offline maps, taxis don’t know where the location is and its not on google maps if you search, must click directions on booking app. Wifi doesn’t work in the room, maybe because i was on the top floor? No AC in my room, a bit hot, but when you open the balcony door and the opposite window you get a nice breeze. Also no elevator so be prepared to carry your luggage upstairs.

Was very nice, super clean and the room seemed newely renewed with every thing looking sparkling new. It was a bit hard to find when we got there with the taxy and there was no air conditioning in the room, although the climate was very nice. Biggest problem is i could hear the planes at night, but that's ok considering I wanted a hotel near the airport. Also the country view from the porch is very cute! There are stairs at entry and also in the building itself so take that into consideration. You get what you pay for and more, the staff were so nice and helpful!

The staff was very friendly, helpful and available. Communication through booking.com was easy and the hotel sent helpful information regarding how to find the place in advance. The location is perfect for one night stay between flights. Bed was cozy.

I would have appreciated having somewhere to hang my coat and a chair or something else to sit on besides the bed. The air-conditioning in the hall way was quite loud and ran throughout the night.

Very close to the airport and easily accessible. I found the hotel easy to find. the owners were really helpful, responded to messages via booking.com and WhatsApp very quickly and do not hesitate to go above and beyond to make sure you have a great stay. I highly recommend it, it’s well worth it for the price. Room was clean and bed very comfortable. I will not hesitate to come back.

What I liked the most of the place was the manager's kindness and helpfulness, its safety (as a woman traveling alone it was essential for me) and also the cleanliness of the room. It is close to the airport and they provide transportation back and forth from it 24 hs. I would recommend staying in this hotel to any traveler during a layover.
