It is central, close to lots of shops and restaurants, amazing staff, and the bus to the airport that runs 24/7 is literally 150m down a slight slope. The staff was amazing: we lost our key card and the staff was extremely helpful, especially Ershin. We can fully recommend this hotel to anyone needing a lovely place to stay as close as possible to Istanbul International Airport. It is easily accessible via the H-6 bus from the airport and via the metro- look for the Arnavutkoy-Hastane stop which is the last stop on the M11 Istanbul Metro line that connects the new airport to the city centre.

We loved everything!

The location is quite near the airport. You could take the airport shuttle that hotel provides or take the train. Metro station is just 8 minutes far. There are supermarkets, restaurants and shops near the place to cover all that is needed. Amazing supportive staff. You can communicate in English and any time of the day and services are with utmost respect and responsibility. Food was good and restaurant can accommodate you with your food at your room any time of the day. I personally enjoyed the breakfast buffet. It was peaceful and delicious.

It is close to the airport (about 20 min - with car). BTW - the staff was very kind and they arranged also the transfer from/to the airport. And the transfer was also perfect (super nice drivers, great communication - sending also videos with the meeting point!). It is also close to the city center where you can find a lot o interesting things (to eat and to shop :) ) Despite the fact that it is close to the airport (that never sleeps) - you will not heare only a few airplanes durring the night. Thanks a lot for the nice stay!

The only small problem was the fact that the room was on the same wall with the elevator ... and the noise is somehow disturbing. But when you are tired enough ...it doesn't matter :)).

We had a 30 hour layover at IST and didn’t want to be at the mercy of Turkish Air even though they would have given us a free night on a long layover. This place was inexpensive (a little over USD $50/night), clean, warm and very well located. The breakfast buffet was OK but not particularly outstanding by Turkish standards. One service that would really make this hotel THE choice in Arnavutkoy would be free or reasonably priced airport transfer. As is, the hotel charges €25 each way which adds up to the same cost as the room. We got a cab for about €10 each way but not everyone wants to deal with the hassle and potential rip-offs from Turkish cabbies. The employees at the property were universally helpful and even ingratiating. TV was a little difficult to figure out with instructions in Arabic, but did provide about 150 Turkish channels and 2 English news channels. The neighborhood was good with lots of restaurants and grocery stores. The new Istanbul metro stop is a 15 minute walk away and I took the M11 line to Gayrettepe (?sp) where there is a plethora of very upscale shops and restaurants. Tip: the metro fare machine apparently won’t accept any bill lower than a TL 200 note which I found out after a few minutes of trying to feed it TL 100 notes. All in all this is a great hotel in a great location and I would highly recommend it if you have a significant layover at IST.

20 mins from the airport. Very good breakfast. There are a lot of restaurants around.

We stayed in ISTPORT hotel for overnight. The room with two separated beds. It was our third stay in this hotel. We had two beds but only one blanket. When we asked for a second blanket, the bellboy said that since there were two of us, we could sleep under one blanket. I tried to explain that we had two beds and I paid for a room with two beds, so we needed two blankets. Two beds - two blankets. He and the guy from the front desk said that they did not have a second blanket, although the hotel was half empty. This is a long explanation. After almost 40 minutes of calls and conversations, they brought us a second blanket.

Well kept, nicely presented hotel. Had a comfortable stay, staff were friendly and always available. The cold buffet-style was good, I was pleased to see the selection whilst quite modest was sufficient and, most importantly, fresh. A fridge and water in the room were welcome too. Self-controlled air-con and heating in the room came as a blessing, found it easy to switch between the two. Hotel located near to shops and parks.

Nice hotel near the product shop and the Shopping Mall. 20 minutes from/to Istanbul airport. Excellent service from staff: Ahmed and Burak at the Reception were helpful and friendly, and ready to satisfy my requests, Ibrahim helped with luggage, and Ersin was attentive at the restaurant. Nice breakfast. It was the first time I had a pleasant experience with taxi travel without stress and attempts to scam.

It would be nice to have a kettle and tea/coffee in the room, like other hotels offer.

I liked the proximity to the airport. Lovely friendly helpful polite staff. Comfortable and clean accommodation.

I didn't like that the safety deposit box was not available and felt the need to carry my valuables with me even though they reassured me that my things would be safe.

What a beautiful experience I had for short transit stay in Istport Hotel. The management changed recently, so ignore most of the previous bad reviews. IBRAHIM GÜNEŞ is a young lad who serves your breakfast very professional and looks after you, you can also have great conversation if you need and advise while staying here. Rooms are best so far for the price I paid and breakfast AWESOME!!!!!!!!
