Since we had a specific situation (a family member was getting planned medical services at the Memorial Hospital), we appreciated the location within a 15-minute walk to the hospital. Also, the property is pet-friendly, which was important for us, as we travelled with a family pet. Staff was absolutely wonderful, friendly, and accommodating.

Location is far from regular tourist attractions and is at the part of town that is busy with people, disorganized traffic, and unkempt neighborhoods. To get to the main tourist attractions, you have to walk to the metro, travel 3 metro stops, change to a tram, and travel 13 more stops to the tune of about 1 hour travel time each way.

We had a lovely lovelyyy stay at Bay Mari suites. The location is very ideal. You are 10 mins (by walk) away from the local shopping town centre which has literally at everything! It's called city square mall, ask at the reception and they will help you reach there. We couldn't have asked for a better location in terms of eateries, malls, etc. Last but not least, a hugeee shoutout to Basil who was such a wonderful host and attended us with all lhis heart. There were two other guys at the reception, who were equally smashing but I didn't catch there names. Staff there is brilliant too! Will definitely be back ❤️

Don't let the fact that the location is far from touristy area like Taksim and the Faith district put you off like it did with us originally. We stayed in Taksim originally but it was FAR too noisy at night for us (plus we had other issues with the hotel, but that's for another review), so we moved to BayMari after just one night in Taksim. The BayMari suites are located right next to two metro stations (both of them on the red M1A line and both are <5mins walk away but we preferred Yenibosna as it was quieter and you are almost guaranteed a seat even during busy times). We took the Metro daily to Yenikapi and switched there. There's also a bus station as Yenibosna if you need to go elsewhere. Basically, location-wise its perfect if you don't mind a little journey to tourist areas (30mins-1hr away) but prefer a more peaceful and quiet neighbourhood. Plenty of small convenience stores nearby (A101, Migros, Sok, etc.). Plenty of decent food places nearby. We were travelling as a family (Me, wife, and two kids 4yrs/8 mnths) - they loved the space to roam in the apartment and the comfortable couches and beds. There's AC control to both bedrooms and the living room/kitchen areas. We all had an excellent, quiet and cool nights sleep every night. Kitchen was modern, but we never really used it other than the fridge and the cutlery now and then. Staff at reception very helpful indeed.

There's roughly a dozen steps into property which may be a concern for those with accessibility issues or those with kids in prams/strollers like us. Don't get me wrong, the staff were very helpful and offered assistance almost every time we approached the steps, but just a heads up (its clear from the photos). It was a mere minor inconvenience for us personally - it has not dissuaded us from staying at the property again in future.

The accommodation was very good. We stayed on the 7th floor, the apartment is big, spacious and equipped with everything you need. The living room is spacious, the TV is smart, the sofa is comfortable and you can relax at ease. The integrated kitchen is good, I didn't really get to grips with the electric hot plate, but otherwise it was fine. The bedroom not very big, but you don't need more than that. The pillows were a bit hard and that bothered me, but the bed was very good, big. Bathroom spotless, very generous shower and good pressure. The cabin is large and you have plenty of space to move around when showering. Clean towels, new tiles. Sometimes you can still hear the neighbours, maybe the walls are not very strong. Parking wasn't too great. The last night I parked where one of the staff suggested, and the next day I found my car smashed on the right door. There probably wasn't enough space to get into the car and forced the door into my car. The location is a decent one, with a few shops in the area and restaurants. You're not going to find much around here. To get downtown to Taksim or Grand Bazaar it's a 40 minute bus ride (17 stops) and then another 7-8 stops by tram. It's decent.

Parking and shops in the area are not exactly strong points.

The staff were very helpful. The apartment was roomy and well designed. And the air conditioner was great.

Some of the kitchen items need to be replaced. They are dangerously rusty. It is hard to dry the bathroom floor once it's wet; it's not sloping towards the drain. The elevator and stairs area constantly smelled of cooking.

The apartment was very spacious and mostly clean. A short 5 minute walk away from supermarkets, restaurants, pharmacy and a hospital so everything you need close by. The location is about 30 minutes from sultanahmet, which never cost more than £9 in an Uber, even less on public transport. Istanbul is huge and can be overwhelming but the staff here are always happy to help with anything you need, especially the two men (my husband tells me one is Egyptian) who work in the evenings. Regrettably I didn't ask their names but they were very kind and helpful 😊

There is nothing we didn't like, my only suggestion would be to leave a broom in the rooms so guests can sweep the floors.

I highly recommend BayMari Suites. We were a very large family with children. We felt very safe, and the apartments were very clean. The beds were comfortable, and the water pressure was excellent. Great location, easily accessible. Next time we travel to Istanbul, I will only stay here.

I have nothing bad to say about this place.

I lovveeee their service !! 1000% excellent !! It was soooo big earthquake when i stay there. And we (me amd my family) running without wearing any proper clothes and the weather is sooo cold in that time. And the manager gives us blanket to stay warm. Sooo greaattt. Also the room is so clean and nice. And they give us complimetary for clean 1x our room. If oneday i visit Turkey again i will definitely stay in Baymari again for sure. and also all of the staff so helpful and friendly. 5 stars for baymari ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A bit far from tourist place.. it's took around 1 hours to going to touristic place, using public transportation. But it is worth it!

We stayed here for six nights, fantastic place, very very clean and well organised. The hotel staffs were absolutely wonderful. Everything you need is there.

Liked everything. One personal observation though and this is not related to the property itself. If you come and visit with very young children then you will need to hire taxi to see the main attractions in the city as public transports are really crowded and all the signs and names are in Turkish language.

The location was very good, safe, close to main attractions, supermarkets, AVM malls, to beach. Staff were very friendly!! Convenient for long stay with families. We cooked at the apartment, everything was very suitable, washer-dryer, kitchen items. Excellent and convenient. Thank very much for stay we had was very comfortable!!!

My daughters had excellent time in Istanbul. For me was very convenient to cook meals for my daughters, the attractions we had in Istanbul was very close to beach, Amusement park, Mosques and historic places. Enjoyed very much our time with daughters and sister. Had great time in BayMary apartment suites at Sumbul Sokak 27. Was everything convenient like at home.
