The building is peculiar and the view is incredible. The staff is nice and welcoming, especially the little sweet Wendy! I will definitely come back

The mattresses are not extremely comfortable but for one night it's ok. Regarding the restaurant of the hotel, I was expecting something more in terms of quality about the food which was quite average, considering that in a Casa Rural normally the food is extremely good. Also, the olive oil was served in little plastic containers, which is completely different from other places in Andalucía where it is served in a plate and it is very good quality. A small feedback to improve a place that is already a dream stay :)

We were amazed at the location of views of this property. It is a bit of a drive, but it is definitely worth the visit! The accommodation was amazing, and we loved our bungalow, which had a private frontage.complete with loungers and a table. Breakfast was delicious, and the views from the breakfast area are even better. The staff were all so friendly throughout and they were especially lovely with the children! We really enjoyed our stay, I only wish we could stay longer!

The drive into the property is pretty steep, but this is due to the amazing position it has above the road.

It was so unusual, loved the room and the decor. Outside it was like something from another world. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t great so we didn’t get to try out the pool but we did have breakfast and lunch in the restaurant. It was a really good breakfast and we enjoyed it very much much. The staff were very helpful. We were supposed to stay for 3 nights but left early purely because we were buying a house and it was ready for us a day early. It also meant I wasn’t thinking and left my favourite shoes in the room. The staff held onto them for me and I Popped back to collect today. We will definitely be recommending it to others coming to visit. We’d stay again ourselves if our new house wasn’t just down the road. Cute doggy too

Beautiful view, very quiet location. Our travel plans changed the day we got there and they were able to accommodate us an extra night, so that worked out really well. Breakfast was good, plus we had to check out before breakfast on our last day and they prepared us to-go bags with sandwiches, fruit, juice, and water. We thought everything was great.

It was a bit distant from Nerja, but if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, this is the place to go. The drive up to the parking and restaurant is also a bit steep, but doable.

Amazing views looking down on Frigiliana and the valley down to the sea. Stayed in an interesting, quirky and very unusual 'Hobbit house' but it had everything we needed. We stayed in December but heating did its job (as it got reasonably cool overnight). I would say you really need a car to stay here. Some excitingly steep ramps to get up to the parking!

It should be remembered that we stayed very much out of season and there were only a couple of other rooms/bungalows occupied. Breakfast was passable but minimal. They kept emailing us telling us the restaurant was shut on a Monday but we arrived on Wednesday evening and found it shut. It was also shut on the second night we were there but we think they said we could book dinner. Menu was not very inspiring so we ate in Frigiliana both nights (several good options). Probably very different in the summer.

The hotel is located on a hill, 15 min by car outside Frigiliana and is offering a stunning panorama over the town and sea. The room size is ok for 2 persons. Our room was #6 and from the comfort of the bed, we could enjoy the beautiful sunset and sunrise. The breakfast was pre-set but sufficient and good. On the hotel property, uphill the restaurant, is a ceremony venue very nice set-up.

The bathroom heater didn’t work. Small parking Was not allowed to eat on the terrace of the restaurant

The view is breathtaking. The houses are comfortable cosy and something special. The man who serves the breakfast is really nice and friendly. Breakfast consists of some fruit, fresh bread, plate of cheese and chorizo/jamon, coffee and some sort of eggs (fried, omelet), juice and water and some selection of honey an jam packages. It is close to Frigiliana where there are other restaurants and some shops. In the evening it turns into a fairy tale hill resort. Full of little lights and surrounded by the sounds of the hills. The little swimming pool is good enough for some freshening up and again with an astonishing view.

No parasol available at the terrace of the house. Because of the burning sun during august we were not able to sit outside on the terrace during the biggest part of the day. A bigger fridge would be better. Because the accommodation is far away from shops, drinks and snacks for a family do not fit in the small fridge.

Lovely location, view and food was excellent. Rooms very unique and have all the comforts you'd expect from any hotel. Our room was private and veranda not overlooked by any other rooms. We were overlooking the main road but there was very little traffic so noise wasnt an issue. The view from the bedroom and veranda was amazing. Friendly helpful staff we encountered from the cleaning staff, kithen staff, waiters and owner.

The only negative was that we arrived mid-day on a Sunday and there was no parking as the restaurant was busy with locals eating. This also led to a slight delay in check-in as staff were busy with the bar/restaurant area. However this would not put me off and I will most certainly be returning in the future. Also my partner is not keen on heights and the road up from the coast was a bit 'hairy' for him but I was loving the views from the passenger seat!

It had incredible views. The room was very cool and each place had its own patio. The food was good.

Communication was poor. There was no checkin info sent and no one there to greet us when we told them what time we’d be there. The waitress at the restaurant spent a lot of her time talking to one table and checked on us very little. Also, far from everything so once you’re there for the night, there is nothing to do and the restaurant doesn’t open until 7:30.

We had the “igloo” #100 at the top of the property. It was a breathtaking view of the valley and down to the sea!! There was everything we needed - lot of plug ins, coffee/tea pots, frig, extra blankets etc. We couldn’t use the outdoor space due to the rain. This unit is away from everything else and affords privacy and quiet but easy walk down to the restaurant. The bacon/egg breakfast was so yummy and the fire in the dining room made it cozy. The unit was of unique design with cool round window. Memorable property!

The TV was out at the time due to a storm.
