Lovely room with great view. Breakfast was excellent. Everything you could wish for in a continental breakfast. At dinner a 3 course meal was 22 euros and portions were huge. So huge we only had 2 courses the second night and had starter lasagne as our main. Great food. Great location for visiting Nerva and Frigiliana (the latter being the most beautiful village I have visited in Spain)

Did not realise how close we were to a busy road and there was quite a bit of traffic noise but thankfully not at night. However, very convenient for continuing our road trip after our stay

Every think views amazing. Next to road but really didn’t mind as quite in evening. Staff, meals great very Andalusian building. Beds very comfortable, lovely views from room and eating area. Great location for frigiliana, torrox and nerja if you have a car but is a bus stop outside.

Slight slope to get to pool if you have mobility issues and pool could be cleaner.

- nice rustic design, but the rooms haven't been renovated in a while - good location, close to Nerja (beaches), Frigiliana (nice village) and the motorway - nice and affordable restaurant (20€ for a 3-course dinner) - staff is friendly, accomodating and flexible - however, many of the staff speak only limited English, but we got along with a mix of English, Spanish and a bit of German - wonderful view over hills and sea from both the room balconies and the restaurant terrace - pool

- the immediate vicinity is very pedestrian-unfriendly, one basically needs a car to get around; there is a public bus going to Nerja and Frigiliana, though, that stops close to the hotel - little vegetarian selection at the restaurant, but one of the staff was very accomodating and offered "off-menu" vegetarian alternatives - the breakfast offered comparably little choice and felt like the early 2000s, e.g., with plastic-packaged bread spreads - badly soundproofed doors; also the motorcycles on the nearby road were annoying at night - the road leading up to the hotel is very steep and winded

Hotel Rural Almazara, while showing its age, retains a charming and welcoming atmosphere. The on-site restaurant is a highlight, offering delicious meals in a cozy setting. Our room was basic but comfortable, providing everything needed for a pleasant stay. A great choice for those seeking a relaxed and authentic experience.

Lovely hotel, nice views, really nice pool, very generous nice breakfast included, and good lunches/dinners available too. Nice syaff. Very clean. Good location between coast and pretty hilltop village.

Busy road 100m away. Just a small hotel carpark, so we had to use overflow carpark a short walk away.

Location was very beautiful but it was very hard to find the hotel because gps sent us the wrong way. The room was very comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. Also it was free parking next to the hotel.

At the beginning it was very difficult to find the hotel. It would be very helpful to inform clients ahead through email how to find the hotel because gps sends in the wrong way. The roads are very tough there.

I have stayed here several times because of great location : just off motorway and between Nerja and Frigiliana. Also all bedrooms have beautiful view, as does dining room. Leisure centre, indoor/outdoor pool. Attractive rustic decor. Great value for money!!!

What's not to like!!

The location of the hotel is just perfect, it is between Nerja and Frigiliana, also close to the junction to A7 highway. The view from the rooms is incredible, both from the terrace and from the breakfast area. The breakfast was good and the hotel staff were very nice and helpful. Considering the price and what they offer, it is definitely a good choice.

The only thing that I would mention here is that I would prefer better soundproofing, if there are many people it can be quite noisy in the room.

Better WIFI and maybe some floor mats by the bed and needs some hooks on the back of bathroom door no where to hang towels to dry
