Great breakfast, great room

Gym could do with an update

Lovely hotel for what we paid, staff were very friendly and helpful - great facilities from the pool and terrace area to the lively sports bar with singers a few times a week. Breakfast was good and we had one evening meal there which was an Indian themed night with lots of choice (excellent dhal soup!). We also managed to get a sunbed each on both occasions that we wanted one! It's a ten minute walk to the beach and 20 mins into the beautiful town of Nerja, which was perfect for us! There was also a 'spa' (small heated indoor pool and jacuzzi) which we made use of for an hour and a few gymnasium equipment machines to use.

The only things some people might need to know is the hotel is on the busy main N340 road with a lovely downhill walk to both the beach and town - the walk back is therefore uphill! Our balcony (small with just enough room for two chairs) overlooked the main road, but then out to the hills above Nerja which I loved - forget the main road, the view was gorgeous. I think our stay was just out of season so a much older clientele was enjoying the facilities.

On our second visit , we had a 3 night stay at the hotel, but were impressed with the welcome at reception, the staff were very friendly, room was very clean and we enjoyed the choice of food available in the evening.

We have stayed at this hotel a few times now but first time since being taken over to new owners and glad to see this hotel still has the same quality customer service and a big thanks to all the staff and to mention a few in the bar, Jose, Luis Manoly and Luis in reception but all the staff are so friendly

One small issue was storage space for clothes was quite limited in the room we had but would not stop us from going back love this Hotel and Nerja.

Lovely room with a bath. Very comfy bed. With nice toiletries. Food had a good selection for breakfast and dinner. Only there one night so no idea what like on other days. Has happy hour on bar. Beach is quite close

Quite a steep walk back up from beach so if you’re not very fit or got kids with you, something to think about.

Loved the staff, exceptionally clean, lovely breakfast, pool very clean and sun bathing terrace. Some of the hotel is getting a little dated and needs refurbishment especially bathrooms but generally ok

The hotel is in a good location for walking and I chose it because our walking group from UK stay there each year. The hotel has also had a recent majeiver

Some of the staff particularly in the dining room do not seem to be can seem a bit brusk as though they are not happy to work there, although they are not obstructive in any way

Clean, spacious, lovely helpful staff. Spa wellness facility... Free 45 minutes session per person per stay. Lovely outdoor area by swimming pool. Tea & coffee making facilities in room. Great water pressure in shower. Good snack food from the bar at pretty good prices. Two for one drinks happy hour ( 5-7pm!)

Breakfast .. maybe we caught them on a not so good day, but hardly any hot food left and what was there was hardly warm. Cold beans, no sausages, watery mushrooms, ... Selection of cold option - cheese, ham, pate, but for 8€ the quality could have been better. Served until 10am and we got in at 9.30am.

Not enough sunshades due to people moving them and being greedy, unable to share between themselves and happy to leave people with no shade at all. Not totally hotels fault but if they put extra stands and umbrellas for every room or stopped people moving them so they have 4!?

The outside pool and area was great. The cleaners were very accommodating, cleaning when suited the guests. The dining room staff were friendly and attentive. The big balcony was very good and the view was lovely. Good location, so car not necessary needed. Very good value for money.

The spa was not great. Guests putting towels out to reserve sunbeds. The signs said that towels would be removed by staff but they were not.
