very clean, room cleaned every day, clean and quiet by the pool. beautiful views on the way to the beach. very nice and helpful staff . There are not many Bolt or Uber drivers in the city, so the taxi number on the card at the reception saved us When going to airport

when checking in for the first time you have to approach from the main entrance from the street which is not clearly communicated. During my stay, I noticed a thirsty cat drinking from the pool from the window at night - I wrote to the staff asking for water for him.

Great hotel, but please make sure that you arrive when someone is at the reception. If your arrival times are outside of their working hours, it could be a struggle to figure out how to access your room, open the blinds and use the keys for the pool. All of these things sound so straight forward until you actually get there. They will leave your keys in a safe box either way if your arrival time is outside of their working hours. It was a great hotel and staff were so nice and helpful. You do have to go down a hill to get to the beach and up the hill to get to the hotel, which if you do everyday can be exhausting. If you are in Nerja for the beach and to visit the main town or other places, I’d book something closer to those areas as they are much closer and easily accessible. This is perfect for families with kids who are visiting for more than a week and just want a quiet time by the pool with additional things to do on some days. All in all, I did enjoy my stay and they get booked up very quickly!

Staff were amazing, all excellent. Pool super. Spotlessly clean.

The location was too far out, and taxis difficult to find. The property bar closes at 8pm with no where to even purchase water after hours, there is no reception area so once Staff finish at 8 there’s no one available if required. For example there was a loud party one night with people messing and shouting in the corridor but as there was no hotel management on site nothing could be done.

Exceptionally Quiet & Spotless Hotel. Great Value.

Only downside was the trek to the beach & restaurants. Completely NOT suitable for those who have difficulties walking. Without transport there are two options. 7 min walk down a very steep road & 15 minute climb back up. Second option is through a gated passageway which includes 186 steps to the beach.

We have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions since 2020 and we like everything about it. We have also recommended it to other people. The hotel is immaculately clean. The staff are very welcoming & friendly. There is a cafe and a bar separate to the hotel but within the grounds. The pool is fabulous and there are views of the sea. There are loungers to hire on a daily basis. There is a 15 minute walk down to the beach via beautiful gardens firstly using a lift and then steps. Once at the beach there are plenty of bars & restaurants located nearby. The old town is a good walk away so advisable to get a taxi which is usually 7 euros each way.

Disappointed that there was no full length mirror in the room that we stayed in this time.

The hotel was lovely, way exceeded my expectations. The rooms were gorgeous and spacious, and the beds were so comfortable. The bathroom was big and the showers were so powerful, they were lovely. The rooms of the hotel are managed separately to the pool and bar area, although they are linked as they're in the same building. during 10am to 5pm you can walk from the rooms through the bar area straight to the pool area, outside of these hours you just have to walk around the front and use a fob to get into the pool area. There are two snack bars at either end of the pool area which are great, David and his family who run it are amazing. The sunbeds are 4euros a day, but you don't have to use them, lots of people were just laying on towels or brought their own chairs. It's about a 10 min walk down steps to the beach front, it's steep so we only walked down, we never walked back up. It's 7 euros each way if you would prefer to get a cab. We will absolutely be staying here again when we come back.

Nothing really, a balcony is always enjoyed but they wouldn't be able to add these without rebuilding the whole building.

Smallish hotel, in quiet location but very pleasant walk through landscaped gardens and ponds direct to sea front and Beach. Lots of steps, counted 240! So not suitable for some. Hotel has lovely pool, bar and restaurant facilities. Paring directly outside was easy in June, perhaps not so in peak season.

Nothing to dislike. Might be too quiet a location for some without shops and bars immediately on the doorstep. But perfect for us.

No restaurant in the Hotel. But a nice friendly cafe next door. A good full English breakfast.

Hotel a bit isolated from Nerja. A 30 minute walk to the Balcon de Europe. Lots of stairs. Not suitable for a person with mobility problems. Hotel did not have a Kettle , therefore no facility to make a hot drink in the room .

It was clean and modern, close to the pool with fab views. The room was cleaned and tidied daily by a lovely staff member. Great to have a fridge and safe in the room. Nice TV with English channels. Loved the private access to the beach, but I would dispute the hotel being considered beachfront (at least a 10 min walk, and a lot of steps and hills to get back up but and unbelievably pretty and scenic walk).

It misses outdoor access, no balcony or anything and you have to walk around the outside of the hotel to get to the pool at the back. The hotel pool access door is locked and not accessible. No tea or coffee making facilities available. The bed was quite hard. La cascada next door is great, but quite pricey and no other shops, bars or restaurants in close proximity, so they have a captive audience. The hotel is not staffed, well it wasn't whilst we were there at all, so no one to speak to if you have any queries or need help, although super responsive to messages sent through booking.

Lovely spacious room and very comfortable bed. The air conditioning was really good too. Friendly staff, really nice pool and cafe/bar. Short taxi ride to the Balcon area with its many bars and restaurants.

Hair dryer in bathroom only worked at low power. Had to pay for sunbeds. Steep decent to the beach although through pretty garden areas and a lift for part of the way.
