Great location, breakfast excellent, and restaurant food also very good. Staff were extremely pleasant and helpful.

The toilet seat in the accommodation en-suite; it was lethal. Too small for the actual toilet and when putting your arse on it, it moved violently, slipping off the edge of the toilet bowel. A frightening experience, and therefore extra precautions had to be enacted to protect the Crown Jewels. This entailed adopting a ‘hovered’ posture, which for sustained plop plops, was very concerning. I’ve stayed with The Woolpack before, and will again; but please…..get a proper fitting toilet seat to ensure taking a poop is a pleasurable experience.

Staff were friendly and helpful all throughout the stay, and the food for both evening meal and breakfast was good. Bed was comfy and decent sized room and bathroom. Close to the A14 so great for a business stay. Slept very well despite a bit of noise from the road. Nice to look out on to a field of horses too!

Shower, toilet, sink & bedding all very clean, but hair on the bathroom floor and dusty surfaces. Just would have expected a deeper clean for the price of the room, however this is just me being picky. Lights were very bright too, but only small uplighters by the bed. A bigger lamp for lower lighting would be nice.

The room was plenty big enough for our overnight stay, excellent hospitality tray and great towels for the shower. We had ridden from The Champagne Region of France that day so a very welcome stop! We took an evening meal which was very good, well cooked food and nicely presented. Staff were accommodating and helpful. The breakfast was very good, sausage and bacon of great quality, very tasty and set us up for the day.

The only constructive thought I will suggest is for there to be a plug and or USB charger(s) by the bed.

The woolpack is in a lovely setting. The room was excellent with all the facilities you could need. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast we had was really good. We opened our room window to a field with some very friendly ponies in which was lovely. The only thing we struggled with was our mattress which we felt was quite lumpy and not very comfortable. However we the other family members who we were with all slept really well so may be we were just unlucky.

We have stayed in many places around the UK and have been happy with them all but The Woolpack was exceptional at every level. The staff were amazing from the welcome when we arrived to dinner and drinks after, then breakfast and room service all with a smile, professionalism and a can do attitude. We were very lucky as the weekend had some live music which was also very professional and created an even better atmosphere - if that was possible. Rooms were perfect, huge bed, crisp linen very quiet with a wonderful outlook. We will be back

Nothing, the place operated like a swiss watch with a team of people who know what they are doing.

Excellent accommodation, the room was spotlessly clean, the food - including breakfast was beautiful and the staff very friendly & helpful. I will stop there again when next in the area.

Nothing really - only a small gripe (as I travel a lot and I notice little things like this) that it is better to have a soap (body wash) dispenser in the shower, the small bottles they kindly supplied are not user friendly while showering, especially when opened and nowhere to put them. However it is a very small thing and everything else was great.

Full English breakfast very good as were all the other meals we had in the resturant We were joined for those meals by up to 7 family members all equally impressed by the food , our accomodation facilities and peaceful outlook. Even horses in the field to look at! All the staff were exceptionally helpful and genuinely friendly. The general layout of the accommodation unit, near the car park and also way into the resturant suited us as my husband is disabled using crutches All essentials provided No hesitation in coming back

The step into the unit was high but a grab rail was provided . no chair but one was got for us Wonder.if one of those detachable steps might be available on request? Health and safety?? Perhaps more choice of fruit at breakfast?

Breakfast was freshly cooked. Room was pleasant and the shower etc all worked well. Nice views over fields from our window. Tea and coffee in the room, also with biscuits provided. Room replenished every day.

Nothing much to complain about. We would have preferred a pot of tea instead of using t-bags in a mug with water less than boiling from a container, but not a serious problem. We WERE given a pot on the last morning, maybe because they were less busy.

Pleasant welcome. Spacious room with comfy crisp bedding. Window in the bathroom. Very good shower & towels. Lovely fresh cooked breakfast to order & tasty dinner the evening before.

The chunky tap on the bathroom sink - very inconvenient for men who wet shave. Toilet seat a bit loose & wobbly. Could do with being able to switch off the auto light outside our room as it is annoying when it comes on whilst sleeping as it really lights up the room, even with the door blind down.

The rooms very nice, as is the bathroom. It was only booked as Xmas party.

The walls above the bed were dusty, and I could write in it.. also a few cobwebs .. Confusion about timings for breakfast, as I did say I don't want to make a time, as I'll get up when I'm ready, I thought the staff told me it was between 7 - 10.. I woke up at 06.30, had a shower, left my key in the room & put my bags in my car, at the restaurant door for 07.15... all locked up, found a door open & was told by the cleaner, chef not in yet, & I'm down for 09.00 breakfast.. I'm up now & I'm off to Norwich..
