Staff at the hotel are all really attentive, but staff in Restaurant and bar were totally awesome! Went above and beyond for us. We stayed for 2 nights with dinner one night and breakfast both mornings.

Its not that I didnt like it, but the last time we stayed the breakfast was fully table service like dinner, which made you feel very special. Its now a buffet service, which is ok, its what most hotels do. Only issue we had was that on the unit where the hot food was placed, when you were moving around with your plate, there wasnt anywhere to put the lid to the dish when you were serving yourself.

its a shame you have changed the breakfast since i last stayed in december.to change to buffet style was a real disappointment as the vegetarian sausages have changed(sorry,but they were not good).i preferred ordering and food was cooked/served fresh.i found the buffet was tepid warm or congealed.for a quality hotel is it wrong to expect better than premier inn etc?i am not a person who complains and submits negativity when leaving reviews, but it took the shine off my stay

The location was very nice, easy to get to. The hotel itself was a lovey building. Some have said the interior is dated which I agree with but it was lovely and clean. Our evening meal in the restaurant was fantastic. The venison pie was the best I had ever had. The service in the restaurant was simply outstanding.

I was a little disappointed that there were no loungers available for us when we went to the spa. There were people sleeping in the loungers who I understand are regulars, so this felt a little unfair. We go 1 lounger around 2 hours into our session. The pool also was very cold. Some regulars mentioned that the pool is normally warmer so this is the reason for the score. The spa was very clean and the staff were delightful.

The staff were really helpful and the thought and detail that goes into a family stay is great. The breakfast is lovely with lots of options to suit everybody including the children. Comfy beds, spacious room and the children's sofa beds were very comfy (not an afterthought of a z bed like some hotels) the little treats for the kids and robes etc were a lovely touch. The decor is a little dated but more than made up for it with the comfort, cleanliness and great staff.

The extra £30 charge to use the spa as we had booked through a third party site and not directly meant we did not use the swimming pool - gutted

Staff were extremely friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The room was comfortable and very clean. There were fluffy robes and slippers, the towels were thick and soft. The tea and coffee in the rooms were good quality and fresh milk was available from a dispenser in the corridor, much nicer than those little plastic pots of milk. The breakfast was delicious with loads of choice. The restaurant was on a reduced menu as our visit was in the Christmas period but the food was delicious.

Full English Breakfast - superb. Loved it. Staff are very pleasant, polite & welcoming. Loads of parking. Ideal location next to the busy A14. Excellent wholesome meals so no need to pop out (Kettering) into the cold looking for a decent restaurant.

Not soo much the hotel but more a criticism of Booking.com - I travel a lot on business & mostly book thru Booking.com. Always with breakfast & yet when I arrive at the hotel - I'm told breakfast is extra!! Why?

The pool and gym facilities were excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Comfy beds, requested a harder pillow and it arrived in less than 5 minutes. Location was good for us as we were visiting relatives nearby but if you want picturesque it is on a roundabout and the edge of industrial park. Chris the waiter was very entertaining and patient when we took rather a long time to decide.

Main meals in the restaurant (although delicious) do not come with vegetables/potatoes and at 5 pounds 40pence for a very small portion, the price becomes extortionate, over 10 pounds extra for a small portion of mashed potato and about the equivalent of 2 carrots.

It was clean, spacious, luxurious. Lots of car parking spaces. The garden was beautiful. The rooms were lovely. Spa was clean and amazing. Everyone had exceptional customer service. The receptionist on check in and out was such a lovely lady and very welcoming. We spent the day at the spa and The spa manager Laurie was a star. Nothing is too much of an ask, he wants to make sure everyone has everything they need at the spa and is attentive. Great attitude. We ate in the bar and loved the vibe there, again waiters were lovely and made our dinner experience nice. We had the best time and we can’t wait to return 10/10

Fantastic staff, super friendly and extremely helpful - I really can't rate them high enough! Very comfortable room, and it is an excellent idea to have a fresh milk machine in the corridor. Plenty of parking. The spa facilities were good, I especially loved the steam room & sauna.

The main area of the spa was clean, but behind the sunbeds my friend & I were using, there was a discarded paper cup and the floor was a little dirty. I have never had to pay to use the pool & spa area in any spa hotel I have been in before. Usually, I've just paid for the treatments I'd had. Also, there weren't enough sunbeds for the number of people in the spa. The food in the restaurant was good but a little overpriced.

Staff friendly and polite, clean rooms, good shower, easy to find off main routes, couldn't fault breakfast.

I was in Room 126, the room in itself and the immediate hallway were quiet but there was a fair bit road noise - would just request another room next time. The pool should be free at point of use for residents, £15 additional charge is off putting. £20 for fish n chips in the bar seems pricey. Saying all those things I deff would stay again.
