Lovely Art Deco styling throughout the hotel, restaurant and bar areas. Comfortable bed, good breakfast (including gluten free options), friendly staff (shout out to Kate who served breakfast and afternoon tea and was super efficient, helpful and just a pleasure to be around) Afternoon tea was excellent value for money and lots of delicious food, again including gluten free, but don't forget to book and pay in advance). We had dinner too which was also good and reasonably priced. Hotel was a real step back in time and located next to the airfield where planes were taking off and landing including a spitfire! If you like art deco and planes it's a great place to visit. Lovely craft/garden centre Beckworth Emporium just up the road was well worth a visit, along with the local reservoir for a walk. Loved it ♥️ We visited Silverstone Museum the following day, just over half an hour away.

Had a minor issue with hot water for the shower but reception were quick to apologise and get maintenance team to sort it out. Otherwise can't fault it.

This place is amazing! The staff, the service, the food, the decor are all excellent. The rooms are a very good size, the beds are really comfy & there's always hot water in the showers. The restaurant food is good value and portion sizes are great. The prices in the bar are about average and cheaper than the closest pub. The breakfast was freshly cooked & a great choice available. This is our 4th stay and will definitely be back. A real gem!

Location!! Too far away from where we live on the isle of Wight! Seriously, the public transport is appalling. There's only 1 bus at 9.30am to Northampton and 2 back in the afternoon. These are normally late (20 mins is not unusual) and no buses at all on a Sunday. Nothing we don't like about the hotel though.

This is a one off unique small hotel authentic Art Deco absolutely gorgeous with the aviation theme throughout. Room was spacious and bathroom had a bath with overhead rain shower (King size room not standard one) The food was excellent well presented tasty and value for money, likewise so was the breakfast. Staff friendly and polite good service. I'm guessing the prices for rooms may have been slightly higher than normal as it was the F1 Silverstone weekend but that's what we were there for so happy to pay and a lot cheaper than some we looked at and a much nicer setting well worth it. Bed very comfortable.

Pillows rather lumpy

I was really impressed with the attention to detail with the "Art Deco" theme. Everything in this hotel has an Art Deco aviation twist to it, and I enjoy that enormously. The place is spotless, the room was warm, comfortable and well equipped. A decent shower too, which always helps. I would not hesitate to stay here again. We stayed here for it's proximity to the nearby Rushden Lakes shopping centre.

When I arrive in a hotel lobby, I want to be welcomed with a smile and a "Good afternoon" I don't want to have to look at the back of the receptionists head as she finishes a conversation with a colleague. Also at breakfast, there was no staff member to welcome us, we waited several minutes before somebody came out to show us to a table. The breakfast itself was adequate, although the coffee was appalling.

The hotel is different, nostalgic, retro 1930’s and looks great. Stacked with history. Staff were friendly, helpful. The restaurant was comfortable and whilst a fairly limited menu, the food was reasonable. Room was good size, comfortable as was the bed. Good work space at the desk/dressing table.

The chairs in the room, whilst fitting with the decor were not particularly comfortable to sit on for any lengthy period. I also found the pillows either bulk and hard of too soft and squash to flat (Bed was comfortable though). Limited amount of sockets, could do with a couple more considering all the devices you need in today’s world.

We loved our stay here , we regularly visit hotels for a getaway, the atmosphere in the hotel was lovely relaxed and friendly, The bar was busy when we got back from our evening out but felt welcoming. One of the best bits for me was that breakfast was served up until 10 am. It meant we got a lay in instead of having to get up and rush around. We came down at 9.40am and they filled the empty mushroom and egg trays. The coffee was really nice , lovely staff, and check out at 11am. we didn't feel rushed at all. We will definitely return

This was my second visit and It was as good as my first, I did end up by the road this visit which was the only thing that let it down. The traffic did abate between 11 till 5am so not too much hassle. The food was good as always and the staff were all very efficient apart from the first evening in the dining room however there were a lot of guests. If you fancy 'winging' your way back to the 40's this is the place for you.

The Aviator Hotel is a lovely 1930's themed hotel that appeals to me & my partner. Our room was clean & comfortable with a beautiful view of the surrounding country side, & our evening meal was excellent: & I'm pleased to say, hearty! Sadly the breakfast was a let down & not to the standard as last year! But on a whole , the Aviator hotel remains our favourite place with a bar selling ales & a good selection of drinks & our coffee was lovely. We shall be returning next year.

The breakfast was a little disappointing. The it was plenty with a good selection but the tea tasted cheap & the eggs were slimy. The carpet was worn & looked a bit tired, but Other than this which is minor, the hotel is good value

Booked this for my boyfriend’s birthday as he is crazy about planes. Was very cool pulling in to the car park and it all being very plane themed. Was clean. Good nights sleep. Good breakfast options.

Not much to do around the area unless you want to just watch the planes and go to the museum. Restaurant in the hotel is only option for food unless you drive. Can’t get deliveroo as can’t eat in rooms m.

Loved the whole experience, everything was Art Deco, even the little details. Fab location on the edge of an air field. Staff were very friendly and knowlegable about the history of the hotel and gave us lots of information. We will definitely be returning.

Very very tiny niggle and its was only a tiny niggle our room was a little cold on arrival as the windows were open, but it soon warmed up. No complaints otherwise couldn't fault the place it was lovely.
