My gosh, where do I begin, from the lovely welcome in the reception and the helping with our luggage. The staff throughout our stay were amazing, fun to be around, and a great fun always and smiling. They were helpful in helping us and giving us suggestions and directions when we wanted to go somewhere. Huge thanks again to Jackie she gives off such a vibrant energy and also really upset and sorry I've forgotten her name she was our first point of contact on our first day at the reception, absolutely lovely she was also I believe one of the house maintenance she helped us with the directions to the fishing lake, thank you and to all of them for helping me with my first ever bike practice, thanks for your comments and support 😊🤣. I shall definitely be back. Huge thank you to everyone else. Also, the breakfast was amazing thanks to the chef and all who served us in the morning.

Expertly refurbished and decorated. Super friendly staff. Free upgrade on room. First visited this hotel over 20yrs ago, before it closed down for a few years. The whole hotel has been wonderfully restored, the details are exquisite. Complete hats off to the interior designer of this Hotel! All details in the room and around the Hotel and grounds are immaculate. Our room was stunning and had the bathroom of dreams......the toiletries are of the best quality and loved the touch of Bath salts being available for an indulgent soak. The atmosphere of a high quality countryside hotel has been kept, with highly professional friendly staff and details such as Hunter Wellingtons, Umbrella and maps to borrow if you are off for a walk around the estate. Sunday lunch in Eyas was delicious! The evening receptionist really made us feel comfortable whilst enjoying our glass of wine infront of the fire and we had a lovely chat with her about how the hotel had changed over the years. The surroundings are beautiful, so peaceful and quiet. Well worth a visit, spoil yourselves.
Coming home! The only constructive criticism (and this wasn't a problem at all) is the dressing table in room 3 could have been even more perfect if there was a make up mirror to use whilst sitting down. The bathroom mirror was fine for this purpose however.

The buildings related to the hotel have been fantastically restored, built in 1594 it has an amazing historical look, also being a listed building adds to its authenticity. My room was a large double, and my bed was extremely comfortable, the duvet and pillows were perfect, the toiletries were good quality, and overall very good room facilities.
However my room was in a separate building, and not necessarily close to the facilities, there was no iron or ironing board in my room, and when i asked for one, i was told to come and get it myself, not quite the service you'd expect from a 4.5star hotel, the dinner menu is good but overpriced, the breakfast is not a buffet, and definitely not value for money.

The location the staff the attention to detail were all exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble we had a very diverse group of people and done interesting modes of transport which the hotel catered for supplied a shuttle service to and from said transport and basically made us feel that nothing was too much trouble.

From the beautiful setting, to the sumptuous bedding and sublime toiletries, we feel completely rejuvenated from our one night away. Our stay of course made all the better by a romantic evening in EYAS with it's incredible food and faultless service. We are already looking at when we can return. Thank you.

Location - great, well restored historic site well out in the country. Electric car charging was good Bar menu was routine as we eat there more than once -specials perhaps? ...and perhaps a bit expensive (£50 a head with wine) Breakfast was very good and service at breakfast excellent.
Your ad said it was a small room and it really was! A bit difficult to sit down and work either in the room or in the public areas.

we are regular visitors of the falcon but is the first time we have stayed. The facilities are far superior than most and it’s in the most beautiful setting. The spread put on last night was a lovely touch and was very tasty. Everything feels expensive and the service is too notch and personal.
My main issue was breakfast. Incomes someone with 2 dogs and we just presumed this was an exception. Then another, and another and then another !! It felt like we were eating in a kennels and one of the dogs even did a poo on the floor in the restaurant! I couldn’t believe it!! surely there should be a policy for a section without dogs as you are eating food! we quickly got our things together and left.

Fantastic breakfast .. a little different you get all items shown on the daily menu .. a great selections of small plates eg smoked salmon , scrambled eggs, maple bacon etc. Hotel decor was all finished to exceptional high standards . Super staff nothing was to much trouble for them and they all were very proud of working at the Falcon.

A re visit after 20 years, fantastic changes, great girl on breakfast duty Louisa, a great credit to the hotel, very efficient and chatty. Great decor throughout
The size of the bedroom, which is almost as small as my holiday lodge, and didn't really represent good value at £150

On several nights a week the evening food was limited to bar food. Although we knew this we found the choice limited and also not great, such as the breaded chicken was thin on chicken. Breakfast was lovely and the decor very soothing. A lot of attention to detail.
The evening reception experience could have been more efficient and welcoming. Check out was much better
