All the Staff are very welcoming, nothing is too much trouble, on the Saturday 3 of our family members come to join us for breakfast which was delicious. The rooms are all very well presented and toiletries & a hairdryer are supplied. You are free to come & go as you have your own key . There’s an extension being built at the moment to increase indoor seating but there was not a speck of dust to be seen. When it’s all finished it will be lovely and Air conditioning is to be fitted too !! We look forward to revisiting again later in the year, this was our 6/7th stay and it’s always been a pleasure! This is a Family Run Business and they all put their heart and sole into it, you come away feeling spoilt! Shame I didn’t take photos

The only things and it’s minor, somewhere to put items in the shower other than the shower tray. We were in room 8 & the bedside lamp could do with a longer lead as it was overstretched so wouldn’t stay on. I meant to mention but completely forgot do they could address for next visitors

Super friendly and helpful staff! They tried their best to cater for me (vegan). The bed was very comfortable and the room had everything you might need. Good size bathroom with a spacious shower.

Unfortunately it was the hottest weekend of the year so far, and the room was boiling. Even with the fan on the highest speed, it was very hot at night. The room is in a building with very thick old walls, so there is no WIFI and I personally had almost no phone signal. Thankfully the pub is just across from the rooms so you can spend time in there, where it is cooler and has good signal.

Great value for money and a real gem of a place! The staff were so helpful and the room and pub area was lovely. We slept well, the shower was great and the bed was really comfortable. We stayed to attend a festival at the National Bowl and it wasn’t too expensive to get an Uber from the hotel to the venue. We had breakfast in the morning which was a great price, really tasty and freshly cooked! We were able to have our breakfast outside as there’s plenty of tables and chairs and it was a really warm weekend. Would 100% stay again if we’re ever in the area.

Nothing :)

Rooms located next to the pub which was nice! Got parking just outside. Quiet area apart from a local red ford fiesta with a loud exhaust frequenting the place. Pillows were lush. Bedding was clean. Had a fan going when we walked in which was nice with the heat! The lady that checked us in was friendly and helpful.

Only slight gripe was housekeeping. Dirty towel on the floor by the door when we walked in (obviously dropped on the way out) and used bar of soap on the shower (guessing not noticed) but harmless things that didn’t affect my stay.

I had a wonderful stay at this property! It’s ideally located, just across from the Swan, and offers a peaceful yet convenient spot. The building is fresh, clean, and looks newly built, which really added to the overall experience. The room was just the right size for my stay, with a comfortable double bed that was well-made. The room itself was spotless, with modern, minimalist furnishings that created a cozy and inviting atmosphere. I appreciated the politeness of the staff and welcoming greeting. Also, coffee and tea available in the room. Overall, a perfect place for an overnight stay! Highly recommended.

I have limited comments about what I didn’t like. However, I would have given a 10 out of 10 if there was more power in the shower, a little limp which meant I had to spend longer showering.

Fantastic location as we were visiting The National Bowl. We received a lovely warm welcome. Pleasantly surprised with our room- it was self-contained and not attached to the pub. Our room had a separate entrance and there was plenty of parking. Room was immaculate and finishing touches were lovely. We had a wonderful nights sleep in a comfy bed. Room got a little warm but we were provided with a fan, which was great. We didnt get chance to trt Overall lovely stay and we would most definitely stay again. Thank you 😊

No WiFi only in public areas and not in our room so be mindful if travelling for buisness

The room was very clean, new and comfortable which was the most important aspect for us. The shower was clean with immediate hot water and easy to operate control.

There were no coat hangers though there were a few fragile-looking hooks for light clothes. No drawer space but Ok for a one-night stay. Some strong hooks on the bedroom door and inside the ensuite door plus a shelf in the ensuite and in the shower cubicle would have been ideal. The windows overlooking the pleasant courtyard were almost completely frosted whereas a venetian blind or other option would have made us feel less like prisoners.

Amazingly helpful staff, communicating in an exceptionally welcoming manner. They switched the fan on before my arrival on the very hot night, without me even asking for it! All my request, related to the arrival, were fulfilled with understanding and friendliness. I was very impressed by the hospitality. Very nice and clean room, comfortable bed with additional pillows. Will definitely stay here again!

Nothing not to like!

Staff and hygiene were great real friendly place,, great breakfast in the morning all fresh and well cooked . Couldn't be more helpful. Great value for money and would happily stay again ,although would ask for a non roadside room as on busy main road with traffic lights right outside . If it wasn't for that would of been perfect for a great friendly budget nights stay .

Other than the noise from the main Rd. (We had a roadside room ) other rooms are available . Staff and hygiene were great real friendly place great breakfast in the morning all fresh and well cooked . Couldn't be more helpful. Great value for money and would happily stay again although would ask for a non roadside room as on busy main road with traffic lights right outside .

The staff were very polite and helpful. The room was clean and modern, well stocked, and the beds were comfortable. The location was very convenient for Milton Keynes.

The room was extremely warm, despite not being very hot outside. The road outside is quite noisy so having the window open to cool the room made it quite difficult to sleep at times.
