Large bed, comfy mattress and pillows and absorbent but not too thick towels. Lovely easily conttollable shower. Room service very efficient and the food was lovely but I couldn’t finish the dessert!

Being called my lovely by 4 separate members of staff. Reception x 2 , restaurant taking room service order x 1 and staff member delivering room service. I may be an older woman but I am not my lovely to anyone I’ve only just met. In fact not even my family call me that. I’m a professional woman of a certain who still works full time! Is this phrase a local colloquialism like ‘ me duck’ up north if so I don’t like it. It grated on an otherwise wonderful stay. Having there’s might from the TV shining in my eyes all night. I had to stock something over. It was right opposite the bed, so no escape.

The staff were welcoming and helpful. The receptionist told me about the free early check in with membership. The downstairs area - reception/restaurant - looks very good. I had a very good night sleep, the bed was comfortable and the area was very quiet. My room was spotless. I had a meal for lunch in the restaurant - the food was well presented and tasty, with salad on the side and a tub of crisps, which I was not expecting.

The room needs a little TLC in places. The sink surround is damaged from water ingress, some blue tape is stuck to the air con, a couple of other things need a little tidying up

Clean, modern, spacious room, very comfortable bed and great location to the venue we went. Night receptionist on Sunday night 4/5.05.25 (don’t know his name) was extremely polite, kind, funny and helpful. Check out is excellent (12pm) gives you enough time to wake up! Love it!

We couldn’t do early check in when we arrived at 13:30 even tho there were rooms available according to the lady receptionist. We literally just wanted to leave the bags in the room as we had an event to attend till very late that night so I think it wouldn’t hurt to let us in 1.5h early- especially that our friend in front of us managed to check in earlier. So you either let everyone check in earlier or no one.

We booked this hotel because it was near friends we were visiting and also not far from Gullivers Land that we visited too. On arrival received a warm welcome, our room was lovely and clean, it had a view of the golf course which was lovely. Mini fridge was a great surprise. Our bed was comfy, the sofa bed we arranged for my daughter was bigger than expected, she slept well, her bed was comfy. Room was quiet, we didn’t hear any neighbours. Bath is big and had jets which was nice and relaxing. Shower was good, but the wall fixture that the shower head was not stable, we had to hand hold the shower in the morning. We meant to report it when checking out. Only thing to mention was we didn’t expect anyone to be on the golf course at 07:30 so got a fright when was getting dressed and person on golf course was looking over at our window at the time. The breakfast was good, we were impressed with the heated plates. Good variety although would have liked fried or poached eggs instead of scrambled. I like yogurt sometimes too at breakfast but didn’t see any, perhaps something to consider in the future? Overall stay was really good and we would stay again!

Staff and room as good

I booked for my elderly Mum. Very disappointed that on arrival and after travelling some distance Mum had booked a Christmas eve meal with my brother who lives locally, they had minimal and basic food. We were sent emails to push for a booking because they would be busy and expected them to be full and have a decedent amount of food choice. They were very quiet and only had burger choices. We cancelled as neither of them eat burgers. To be fair the chef did rustle something up for Mum which she called “a proper dinner” but she was alone. The staff were very helpful and she enjoyed her stay but the 1st night (she stayed 3 over Christmas) was a shame

Comfortable well-appointed hotel with ample car parking on site. The food in the restaurant was excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, notably Nicola on Reception. I have stayed here before, will stay here again, and would recommend.

The hotel is not that well located for public transport, nor is there much in the immediate area. That was not a problem for us, but might be for others. The room was a bit cold overnight, but Nicola in Reception fixed the heating and supplied an extra duvet immediately we raised the issue, and it was resolved to our satisfaction.

Location, close enough to MK central. Ample parking and it's 'free'. In house restaurant and bar with a comfy lounge area. Bedroom and bathroom are of ample size. TV and Iron with ironing board is a bonus. Staff were always helpful. We would stay again.

Just some observations. On new client and room make up days, all laundry is bundled up outside each room for a good few hours. It is a fire/trip hazard and very unsightly/sloppy for continuing guests (we were resident for 4 days). The divan beds are very high for anyone slight in stature or with mobility issues.

The staff were friendly and helpful from the moment we walked in. Also the bed was super comfy, haven’t had a good sleep like this in a hotel before. The hotel looks beautiful as you walk in, which adds to the experience as well and we got a good upgrade which made it better!

3 things I disliked. 1. Unfortunately there was mould in our room. I did inform the staff and hopefully they get this resolved ASAP! (Picture below) 2. The cutlery wasn’t cleaned and the spoon still had a bit of dirt. 3. The air con unit needs looking at as it made a clicking sound like a clock at random times which didn’t help my partner when she wanted to sleep. We had the staff help us sort it on the second day but the issue persisted later on at night and we informed them as we checked out.

When I got there I was pleasantly greeted by a member of staff at the front desk. Got to my room and it was super clean and also very modern. But when I walked into the bathroom my mind was blown. Went into the bathroom to brush my teeth and was greeted by a nice warm tingly feeling on my feet. It was heated. Heated floors. Incredible. Was tempted to sleep in the bathroom. Couldn’t recommend this hotel enough. Amazing value for the price along with great WiFi, free parking and beautiful decor. If you want to impress the wife without breaking the bank, GO HERE!

Lovely room, good comfy beds. Two seats in the room which was nice as the beds, whilst very comfortable were quite high, a little too high to be able to sit on the edge. Quiet, with good blackout curtains. Only issue is that it was a little dull in the room, the standard lamp, one bedside light, and the light on the desk didn't appear to be working. As this was a one night stay, l didn't bother to mention it. We would stay again, it was a very good price and breakfast was excellent.

Nothing of note, really. If we were staying longer, l would have mentioned the lights, and as l'm sure it was only a bulb issue, it would have been sorted.
