Staff very welcoming, breakfast very good, room dated but comfortable. Location handy with buses close by. Although the hotel is in need of a bit of a refurbishment, it is very good value for money and you get what it says on the package. As usual the hosts are very welcoming and helpful. Family run and nothing seems to much

The bed was soft and comfortable, there was plenty of room for my husband and myself to move around and plenty of proper storage. the breakfast service was great as soon as you sat down you were offered tea and coffee as well as the orange juice and the three course breakfast was delivered quickly. The staff were always very helpfull and polite. The importance bit for me was the peaceful night sleep.
The alley to carpark needs to be light up with better signage and the locking of gate although keeping every think safe you had to ask staff to unlock upon arrival and leaving.

The Lanham Hotel is a very classic hotel. It's been in the same family for over 40 years. The brothers who manage the property are professionaal and kind. They are very ready to ensure your stay is excellent if you only ask kindly. It is an older building, so don't come expecting modern amenities. For our first ngiht stay in the UK, it was very charming to stay in a very classic style hotel. The full English breakfast was very good and filling. Overall, this is a great location for value. The large park is just a short walk away, along with some pubs, convenience stores, and restaurants nearby. We had a window with a view to the street and slept with the window open withoout being disturbed by any noise. Would definitely stay again!
The alley drive-way to the secure parking area was very narrow and bumpy. This is not something in the locations control, but just something to be aware of.

Owners Robert and Michael super friendly, clean and comfortable, a place to lay my head for the night. Visit Northampton regularly and always stay at the premier inn. But found at £120 for 1 night with no breakfast, was getting pricey! Yes the hotel is dated but for the £54 paid with breakfast we would try it. Room was larger than expected, yes dated...so what! The character of this hotel was immediately evident. Room/bed was clean and comfortable, everything we needed, Breakfast plentiful and ok...personally I'm not a breakfast person but was sufficient. A little wait but was busy so not complaining, the two brothers were very friendly and obviously hardworking. Came back in the evening a little worse for wear...😁🙄 bumped into Robert...told him I was starving, immediately offered me some cereal, everything placed on a tray to take to my room. Very gratefully appreciated 👏...only downside was the noise from the road (partner an extremely light sleeper) in no way the hotels fault, we had 2 cars ,parking no issues, yes very narrow but funnily enough i have a license and can drive 🤣 (just drive cautiously) all in all we will definitely be returning but will request a room at the back. Thank you guys.
Noise from the road.

We had a single twin room at the back of the property which was nice and quiet, clean and my daughter and I felt safe. The breakfast was very nice, cooked well and suitably filling with a reasonable variety of ingredients to choose from. The staff were friendly and the location of the hotel was just perfect for our needs as it is near the school my teenager was taking an early morning exam. The hotel is also very near the racecourse which is a lovely park location to visit.
The mattresses were slightly lumpy and the room television reception could do with improving as the picture broke up a lot.

Overall, the hotel is very clean and welcoming. Lovely fresh air smell to the hotel. Not at all musty which in such a large hotel must be difficult, so well done 👏. Greeted by a very professional and polite gentleman, who immediately offered his help to arrange a taxi for me after I inquired. On my return I had a very peaceful night, going for breakfast the next morning I was very impressed with the breakfast room layout, nice a spaced out, but airy and bright. Honestly have to say, the breakfast was a 10/10 , one of the best I've had. Coffee was excellent, when I poured it from the pot I was worried it was too strong!, but was really good...just what I needed. Before I left I had to complement the nice lady cooking the breakfast, I thought the two eggs included in the breakfast were perfect 👌, I will definitely be staying here again. Very pleased Overall
Needed directions for the car parking, did try to look online but couldn't see anything

Nearby to the conference centre that we were attending Breakfast good choices, tasty, and served hot.. Small self contained room which was clean and small bathroom. Free parking was appreciated, but see comments below.
Parking area was gated which meant we had to ask staff to let us out and in, not comfortable for us as some of the meetings go into the evening which we chose to miss, as we would have felt awkward. The drive area to the parking area at the back of the hotel had many large potholes. Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to book this hotel again due to the parking situation which is a shame as it's in an ideal area for us.

Little gem of a hotel. Lovely 2 guys who run the place little family place absolutely lovely - massive room, bath, shower, fridge, lots of lights to put makeup on - lots and lots of storage loads of hangers for clothes, chocolates & biscuits all sat next to the tea & coffee with an abundance of milk sugar etc so you do not have to keep asking for more! Toiletries in the bathroom! Shower lovely and hot. TV all channels. Breakfast included. Very friendly very lovely thanks
Nothing. It was great. Such lovely guys helping me out with all sorts of questions that I was asking them late at night etc

A really good value family run hotel with free secure parking on site. It is within walking distance and on a bus route to town centre. Our room overlooked the racecourse and was comfortable and quiet with a good shower and a useful fridge. The decor is tired so had to mark down on that but the staff are very pleasant, efficient and helpful. Breakfast food is good and plentiful. Unbelievably low price compared to many other hotels offering the same facilities Highly recommend.
Just the dated decoration but that is nit picking.

Clean and tidy. Well maintained hotel despite its non-contemporary fixtures and fittings which have lasted a good deal of time. Option of on-street parking (with time restrictions) when the limited hotel parking is full. Small but practical fridge is a big bonus and access to iron on request. Always found the beds comfortable in the various rooms that I have stayed so far. The housekeeping service on alternate days comes handy. I haven’t been back for breakfast for sometime despite staying regularly but found it good value when I previously did. I like the 10mins walk to the nearby Aldi for good value grocery shopping.
My main struggle is the weak WiFi in many of the bedrooms which impact my evening work tasks (my phone network also has poor reception for hotspot). A functional radiator thermostat control will help avoid overheating in the bedrooms and help the climate. Option of plant based milk will help provide a more inclusive breakfast but still very good value stay nonetheless.
