Everything...... lovely old house, location was good with nearby bus stops, and walk to the shops. Lovely host and her dog, Trudie. They welcomed us when we arrived. Lovely rooms, comfy bed, tea/coffee facilities, bathrobe, flannels, spare toothbrushes and toothpaste (we didn't use them as we always bring ours. It's a good idea though?)
Walk in shower was lovely, but would be nice to have handrails put in? Husband has balance problems and he could have done with something to grab on? I did mention it to the host, maybe have one put in when we next stay?

From the moment we arrived, we had a warm welcome by Amanda, She is so hospitable and made us feel right at home. She has a genuine care for her guests and this truly set our experience apart. The cozy atmosphere of the place combined with lovely nature made our stay unforgettable. We were particularly impressed by her service, which exceeded our expectations. It's evident that she go above and beyond to ensure her guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. Thank you Amanda for your hospitality. We look forward to returning to Northampton in the future and will certainly recommend it to our friends and family.

Very friendly and helpful host, so welcoming of my dog too. Although she wasn't very aware of vegan food, she provided a delicious breakfast of fried potato, mushrooms, tomatoes and beans, with toast, vegan butter, jams, teas, and oat milk. We had only given 24 hours notice as it was a last minute booking. There were cereal options too, but we didn't need them. We were able to have it at a lovely leisurely late time. The room was large and comfortable, with a great big bed (which can divide into a twin). We overlooked the garden and it was very quiet.

We were greeted on arrival and shown to our room. We were offered fresh milk for a brew which was impressive and really welcome after a 2+ hour drive. Amanda, is very attentive and made sure we had everything we needed. We were given good advice about local places to eat and ended up dining in the nicest Chinese restaurant we've ever been to - 3 mins walk from the B&B. The full English breakfast was lovely and we had a nice chat to Amanda at breakfast time too. We were even given some fresh milk to take with us in our flask so we could have a brew on our journey home! We selected this location as I had a driving experience at Northampton Circuit, 15 mins drive from the B&B and so the location for us was perfect. We loved Trudie the dog :-)
We really couldn't complain about anything. If we were to be really nit picky: it wasn't entirely clear where to park, but Amanda very quickly advised us where to park. This in no way detracted from our enjoyment.

Everything. On arrival was greeted by Amanda and her lovely dog Trudie. They showed us our room in the front which was bright and airy. Fantastic shower! There was nothing we needed as Amanda had catered for everything. We was going out to eat and Amanda guided us where to go and what restaurants was on offer. Lovely clean and comfortable bed, we slept well. We needed to be out by 8.30 and Amanda sorted breakfast early for us. Thankyou Amanda.....and Trudie for such a lovely and welcoming stay. Will definitely come again x
Nothing to say.

Location was great for local amenities , also as I was looking at local shoe factory outlets , it was in the right area . Off street parking ,another bonus . The room was very spacious and comfortable . The landlady was very friendly and happy to help . Breakfast was very tasty , and ready when we wanted , not too early as we were in no rush . I would definitely stay again , as it felt very natural and homely .
We couldn't get normal TV channels in the room . The instant coffee could be a bit better .

Amanda is a brilliant host, who goes above and beyond to help you in any way she can. The breakfast was excellent. The vibe is relaxed and homely. Amanda allowed us to book in a little earlier than we should have and we truly appreciated her kindness. The bedding was lovely and there is a wide variety of viewing selections on the TV. There are tea and coffee facilities, which we always appreciate. Park across the road and bus stop close by. The bathroom connected to our room was big, bright and had a large, luxury bath.... lovely.
Parking facilities are not great after 5pm at night.

A very twee old fashioned English bed and breakfast. It should have been a ten but will explain later why only an eight. The host was extremely welcoming. The breakfast was lovely with extra thick bacon. Could have done with a few more beans between the 2 of us though. The place was clean and the bed very comfortable. Location was great for the golf course and we found a little old fashioned pub 2 minutes down the road called Ye Olde England serving real ales. We would stay again.
There was no external lock on the bedroom door meaning it was open and unlocked. Not comfortable with that. The room was very cold and no matter how long I ran the tap, no hot water. I think there may have been a fault with the heating system as the owner had a little plug in heater in the breakfast room because that too was very cold.

The location is excellent for a walking tour of Northampton. Plenty of good restaurants on the Wellingborough Road 15minutes walk away. The Racecourse is opposite and the magnificent Abington Park is about 20 minutes walk. This is Amanda's home and she is very welcoming. We were even offered freshly baked Victoria sponge. Nothing is too much trouble. Full English breakfast was excellent. We loved it there.

Excellent location for attending an event at The Picturedrome. Room very comfortable - best night sleep I've had in ages. Onsite parking very handy. Lovely cooked breakfast in the morning. Best bit: cuddles with cutie Trudy pooch
Shower not in room - just along the corridor (my fault, I hadn't spotted that when making the booking) Room was quite cold (but an effective fan heater was provided, which helped)
