Great choice of things at breakfast. Cooked breakfast cooked to your order. My daughter and I are both disabled and the heavy fire doors are always a problem for us, as soon as the staff saw us coming they were there for us. After the first day they remembered carrying things we picked for breakfast like a glass of fruit juice carried to our table. They made sure we had the same table for breakfast and dinner so it was easy for me with my mobility scooter. All the staff remembered our needs so we didn`t have to keep asking them. Can`t fault their excellent staff. The disabled room was excellent also and kept very clean. I have travelled all over this country and abroad for over 50 years. This is one place we will be going back to as soon as we can. A big thank you to all the wonderful staff.

We like the location of this hotel. We have stayed here a few times and always have a good experience.

Unfortunately when we arrived and were given our room key, ours would not work (our friend travelling with us was OK with his room key). It was an exceptionally hot day, we were understandably very fraught, and after what seemed like a forced rout march to our room, we found the key card would not operate. So, I trudged back to reception to sort it out. The receptionist re loaded the card key and I trudged back again to the room, only to find that the room was already occupied!!!!???!!! So, we marched back to reception to get this sorted out. Given a different room and card key. This worked and no one else was in the room! However, all of this took 20 minutes to sort. We were lathered in sweat by this time. Showered and headed to the bar for a very cold drink!

It was great that it was attached to a pub so we could go for food and chill with a drink without having to drive anywhere. It was a good distance from the town centre and from an event that we attended on the Saturday. The rooms were a nice size and the bed was comfortable. Nice shower too, was standard and nothing to really complain about really. The staff were all really lovely as well and welcoming.

The breakfast was ok, it was basic but some of the pastries were getting a bit hard where they were left out, the pancakes were a little over done and the cooked breakfast was ok.

Surrounded by beautiful walks, handy little supermarket 2 minutes away, plus petrol and car wash if needed.an excellent adjoining restaurant, with warm attentive staff.large car park directly outside hotel

Would like to see bedroom furniture brought back to original state from previous years, a simple rectangle frame with plenty of clothes hanging space plus shelves, I would include the same in accessible rooms, and remind everyone that, invalids are not midgets.

The rooms and the cleanliness and comfy bed and blackout curtains.

The fire alarm went off throughout the night about 1 am. Disturbed sleep. No apology offered at check out. Just a stern face from a staff member cos we brought key back 4 mins later than 11 am. Remember we are your customers and you need to stop chatting about your chores and look up n engage in your customers and say sorry about last night n ask how was our stay n be interested more in our satisfaction rather than how quick you can crack on with the things to do. Rather deflating not to be spoken too, ignored other than what’s your room number and not valued.

Nice and clean. The staff were all very friendly. The breakfast pastries were delicious

The bed was a bit too hard for my bad back. The staff were over worked and were not given sufficient rest between shifts. That did not affect their performance at all. But it is unacceptable to expect staff to manage on a 6 hour turn around! The poor reception lady was on until 10/11pm and back in at 6am!

The reception desk check in staff really made our stay. She was very friendly, helpful, personable, humourous and an asset to your business. We had accidentally book another type of room and the check in desk person changed our rooms (for better) and made sure all 3 rooms were next to each other. I would come back again just for the positive vibes from the staff. The breakfast was good value for money and again it's the staff that make all the difference.

Smell in the rooms (we had 3), probably from the drainage, nothing too odourous..., but noticeable, otherwise the rooms were perfect.

The reception staff were really friendly. The pub atmosphere was good. Reasonable priced drinks. Beds are comfy and loved the shower

The bathroom cleanliness was the let down. We had a toilet that i think needed a bit of bleach down it as there were dark brown stains in the toilet, there were dirty marks on the wall in the bathroom and also no soapin the dispenser!! The room was very hot, but thank godness for the fan! There was also a hole on the wall where the thermostat was. There is a real sewage smell outside as well:( But all in all a good stay, i just think these things need addressing. We would stay again.

Staff were very welcoming and had accommodated my request for a travel cot. The room was spacious and had everything you could need. Room was very clean, but the bathroom is a bit tired and run down. You could hear a live singer coming from somewhere nearby but this ended by 11pm so was not a problem. Lovely location, with great views of the boats and swans etc. We used the adjoining restaurant for evening meal and breakfast. The staff were great, and really helpful. Though if you want to use the wacky warehouse I'd suggest you book in advance, as it was a rainy day and it was fully booked so we couldn't use it.

Bathroom was a bit run down, could do with a refresh.

First time staying and was surprised how nice the location was I had a room overlooking the river which was lovely, the room was a good size, the staff are absolutely amazing so friendly polite and caring, the breakfast was ok the vegetarian selection is not as good sad I thought no sausages out or told you could have them despite it being on the menu, but you could have continental and a fry up or just one of the other it got really busy with people from the Aquadrome and got quite loud which wasn’t pleasant but not the staffs fault, I really enjoyed my stay here

The bed wasn’t for me comfy, was quite hard also the toilet could of been cleaner.
