Check-in as always was fast and efficient and the person at reception was very nice and helpful. The room was quiet, the bathroom was nice and the amenities were perfect, the bed was comfortable. the curtains didn't let sunlight pass through
The carpet in the bedroom could have used a good cleaning. It wasn't nice walking on it barefoot. the wifi experience was bad with the signal cutting every few minutes: impossible to take part in videoconference. The last day (I don't know why I didn't do it before), I unplugged and replugged the access point closer to my room and the wifi worked way better after this reboot.

We loved the location - right in the heart of town yet within a courtyard so you don’t get any street noise. It’s also surrounded by nearby parks so excellent for dog owners. The room itself was very spacious, although not ideally set up if you need to work at a computer. We were also insulated from any noise from the busy pub restaurant and function rooms. Breakfast was very good and dinner excellent at the price point.
It’s a pub with outbuildings redeveloped into rooms and function areas - this wasn’t quite what we’d expected and it meant a walk outside to get to reception. The reception wasn’t reliably manned as it would be in a hotel and the bar closed promptly with no exception for residents. (We were sent out to explore the town - every other pub was still open). Apart from not knowing we were booking in a very busy pub with rooms and not a hotel we had no complaints.

Located in the centre of M.Har, so for me this was a perfect location. There is quite alot of parking (around 40 spaces) but its also public parking so it was busy when I arrived at 2.30pm. Nice check in experience where the facilities and wifi are explained. The wifi is decent and works around all areas I used. The hotel provides a window sticker for the car park, so you dont have to get a paid ticket. It is a pub, but a large pub, with alot of dining/cafe options and a tradiational pub bar at the front, open to the public. The rooms are nicely decorated, there are alot of creaky floorboards and doors around so it can get noisy from other guests...but I had no issues on this stay. Staff are helpful and friendly and the breakfast option in the morning is excellent, served in a lovely dining room on the 1st floor. Nice coffee and cooked ingredients as well as continental. I will stay again.
The bar will close at 11pm so its not possible to get a late 'nightcap' even if you are a resident. Not a major issue for me, but may be for some people.

The location was central, which meant we could walk everywhere we needed to go, happy in the knowledge the car was in the hotel car park. The hotel staff were all warm and welcoming, very helpful and polite. The food was excellent both the evening meal and breakfast the following morning. The staff were very attentive. The hotel itself was lovely, we felt completely at ease and the bed was very comfortable, a great nights sleep.
Not a complaint and probably a small thing that cannot be rectified but the floorboards in the bedroom were so creaky that I felt awful walking about and getting ready because of disturbing the people below. I understand it's an old building but I would hate to think that we disturbed anyone else's stay, it was very loud.

Location was exactly where we wanted to be and as we used to live in MH we knew exactly where we were. We managed to park in disabled spot right outside the room. The wheelchair accessible room was located right next door to the conservatory restaurant so access at lunch and breakfast was easy. The room itself had a large bathroom suitable for our needs. Breakfast next day was served in the conservatory as my husband was unable to access the breakfast room upstairs, nothing was too much trouble for the staff. The pre booked Sunday lunch was delicious as was breakfast the following morning.
Would have preferred twin beds due to my husbands physical health but appreciate this is not always possible, otherwise no complaints.

Very nicely converted town centre coaching inn, with nice rooms and a very good coffee shop, restaurant and bar with a good choice of beers/wines/spirits. There is alot of on site paid car parking, but the hotel provides a free pass for this. The hotel is located right i the centre of Market Harborough, so everything is walking distance. My single room was quite 'cosy' but had everything in it, very small shower/toilet and sink in the room itself. Bed was comfortable with nice bedding. Breakfast is very good. It is a buffet, but quite small, so everything is kept fresh. Coffee is good. Served in the upstairs dining room which has a lovely ambience. Overall its an excellent pub with decent rooms and good quality food. Will stay again.
There was a corridor door outside my room that really slammed shut when used. Definitely needs fixing. Public bar was closed at 10.30pm...no facility for residents to get a late nightcap. 11pm for residents would have been great.

Fantastic location, free parking. Helpful receptionist and staff. Beautiful courtyard and coffee served with Maltesers! Lovely historic property, room was a good size. Breakfast was lovely, served in a really nicely decorated restaurant.
The only thing we'd recommend to management is that they fix the 'in' door to the staff kitchen. Unfortunately the closer is not working properly so the door bangs every time a staff member goes through it which is quite irritating and very loud whilst trying to enjoy breakfast in the lovely dining room.

This is a fabulous place to stay, it has everything you need within the property and is centrally located to all conveniences in Market Harborough. We were very comfortable in our room, the bed was fabulous and the shower had great water pressure. A big plus is the free parking on site as well. There were always a lot of staff rostered to attend to the needs of the guests and they’re well trained in a high level of patron service. We highly recommend this property.
Nothing! It was outstanding!

Our room was on the ground floor of one of their buildings. It was well equipped with a comfortable bed and a bath with an overhead shower. We dined there with my grandson. All of us really enjoyed our meal choices.
The Hotel had a seminar on the go and the pay and display car park at the hotel was full. So the parking permit the hotel provides was not able to be used until late at night. Breakfast (included in deal) was an extensive help yourself buffet but they stop serving at 9:30am and if, like us, you arrive after 9am the hot dishes tended to be past their best. So, better to be up much earlier to enjoy what I am sure would then be an excellent breakfast.

Lovely room, well appointed, nice and warm, large bathroom, with bath and good shower. Comfy bed. Breakfast buffet. Lovely courteous staff, both at the welcome desk and at breakfast. The ladies at breakfast found me a fruit tea which was much appreciated.
Parking can be tight, but is free with a permit. There was a loud disagreement in the courtyard below my room, so if you are a light sleeper as for a room in one of the newer blocks. I was hoping for eggs benedict as pictured all over the breakfast offering online, but it was a buffet and I wasn't offered any alternatives.
