The Hotel has its own car park - free to guests. A double room cost only £64 - very reasonable. The owner greeted us warmly and offered to carry our cases up to our room. The Hotel is spotless throughout. There is a games room with a snooker table and a lounge area with a bar. The room itself was spacious with a very comfortable bed and plenty of tea, coffee and biscuits available. The ensuite was spotless also and there were some lovely toiletries to use. The standard late check out was much appreciated following a long journey the previous day. The other staff were very friendly too. We were even treated to a lovely cup of coffee and cakes before we set off the next day. All in all, we would highly recommend Rothwell House Hotel. We will definitely stay there again.

Great value for money, we had a family of 4 stay in what was really a whole apartment (2 bedrooms, a kitchenette, more beds in main room, 2 TVs etc...). We all slept really well, which is quite rare for us - and could all sit down for a huge breakfast due to the space and table they provided. Really freindly too.

I guess some of the hotel doesn't look all that nice and the fire door in the room was a bit odd, but that didn't really bother us. We didn't really use any of the facilities at the hotel so we can't vouch for them.

Exceptional value and well worth a visit .Do book and stay here ! This lovely hotel is a real pleasure to be in . The staff were very welcoming and helpful . The building is lovely , and very smartly decorated . The rooms / beds very comfortable and clean , with ample tea and coffee making facilities ( and some biscuits) . The Bar area is elegant and drink prices competitive .. Bridge Street has places to eat and shopping close by . A real gem - and I would divert a trip to stay here again !

We were very happy with our stay at OYO Rothwell House Hotel. It is in a perfect location for exploring the town and area and we had a quiet room on the first floor. The room was very clean and comfortable - the furniture all looked new and parts of it looked freshly painted. The bed was very comfortable and the linen was spotless. The bathroom was a good size, as was the shower cubicle - the shower was lovely! Plenty of tea, coffee, sugar and milk sachets provided. The staff were very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Extremely good value for money.

Staff were friendly and very accommodating, bar area was nice. the shower was excellent and very poweful and room was spacious enough.

Room was very warm even with a fan provided, bedding seemed to have some stains on, Car park was very small and full of vans making for a very tight manoeuvre high risk of damages i watched a van struggle at 1.30am to get out and also hitting the wall doing so. Noisy guests as rooms are not that well sound proofed but didn't stop me sleeping. Broken blind in the room

Very polite and kind, hard working staff, went out of their way to help every guest, even carrying bags, and talking about the town, the right meaning of hospitality. Very large room at the back, not too much noise, very clean everywhere internally.. Much better then the photos. Which is usually the opposite, most hotels have fake old photos, but this hotel was very clean indeed. Thank you to the staff.

The red carpets i don't like, red is an angry colour that causes stress to some people, but not everyone. I didn't like the town, not a lot going on, even though it has a big history, but it's middle of no where. Very few shops but better than many little towns for that, i just really didn't like the town, and that's just my opinion. You might really like it. But this really is a good place to stay, one of the better places, I've found around the UK and especially the Kettering & Northampton area.

Very clean and comfortable. I think the bedroom furniture was new and the bathroom shower etc looked new. Hotel is being updated so no breakfast facilities or dining but we knew that at booking. The bar has been updated and looking very nice although there was just lagers and beers available as hadn't yet stocked up. Husband had madri which was good. The Hotel is in a great spot with restaurant and pubs.

Just a shame the bar wasn't fully operational and I couldn't have a wine. Some areas still need updating but did not affect our stay at all.

Exceeded my expectations for customer service and the person who gave their EVERYTHING to ensure they made my stay in the hotel, being to the best it could've possibly been. The new management and team were keen to ensure we were well looked after and it was clear that the hotel had had a recent refit with a great bar/social space. The en-suite bathroom was brand new and the shower was spot-on. Rothwell is a great location and the hotel was peaceful.

No real issues. The new management are still learning the ropes, but make a huge effort to help. Could do with having more local info, e.g. they didn’t have basics like a list of local taxi firms available.

It was lovely from start to finish, the staff were amazingly helpful and very friendly. The room was spacious, well laid out and very clean, bathroom was very nice with great water pressure in the shower. A really nice bar area with a very well stocked bar.

They weren't serving food when I stayed although it's listed as a hotel & restaurant, not much of a problem though as there are plenty of options very close by.
