The genuinely helpful and responsive hotel concierge/?proprietor was keeping an eye out for me when I arrived and made sure I did not try to register at the Cacco contractor guest-house several doors down from 'Snooze'. The room was large enough to comfortably contain a big double bed, a small work-surface level bed-side table that held a kettle and pair of cups with saucers and enough tea-bags, coffee sachets and fresh milk portions for my overnight stay and an open wardrobe forming and alcove containing a chest of drawers entirely suitable for one person's overnight requirements, along with my large peices of hand-luggage and music equipment. I was relieved that room window was open in a ventilating setting suitable for the hot weather of the day. The horizontal surfaces of the bed-side table, alcove and carpeted floor were clean and free from dust. The comfortably soft bed was neatly made up with clean linen, four pillows and a duvet suited to the hot weather. The bed-side hot drinks preparation table was served by two plug-points for personal equipment, and additionally equipped with two or three helpful 15watt USB Type A power charger connection sockets.

The room did not have its own private running water, wash basin or bathroom providing toilet and bath or shower facilities. Instead, three properly cleaned and maintained shared bathrooms with toilet, washbasin and shower facilities were to be found at the end of the corridor. I never had to wait. There was no safety shaver point suitable for charging or using shavers or for charging electric toothbrushes. On an occasion after the convenient electronic combination lock on my room door had worked perfectly several times, the visit-allocated combination helpfully also working on the hotel's outside security door, it became stuck in the locked position, and I needed help from the patient and capable concierge to make it release and give me access to my room.

Great value and nice room with space to get myself ready for my gig. nice and near to rail station.

Bathroom/toilet was not ensuite, but down a corridor, but was very clean. Would have been nice to check in earlier, say 1pm rather than 3.

The receptionist was just extra ordinary,very kind and polite.He made extra efforts to ensure that we are comfortable and catered for.

There was no wheelchair access for my son. I think they should offer small cleanable buckets to use as urinals at night so that people dont have to wake up and walk about the corridors.

Everything was clean in that room

Urm in the room I stayed in it was a bit annoying if u needed to go to the toilet because u would have to walk all the way to the front of the hotel to go toilet and in the room I stayed in had no air conditioning which was a pain but apart from that it was good

It was very helpful because it was local

We had one hand towel , one bath towel , one glass and spoon between 2 of us. The carpets were filthy and the dressing table disgusting it looks to me like cigarette burns. Take a look at the photos. I’m normally not one to complain.

I have stayed here several times and know I will get a clean, comfortable room at a very reasonable price. The location suits the purpose of my visit and the free public parking just round the corner is a big plus point. The hotel is always spotlessly clean

I have no complaints. The Snooze hotel was as good as it always has been!

It felt so cosy homely and there was a very friendly male staff. He was so polite friendly and very helpful 10/10 for your guy at the snooze lounge 👍😊

The shower/ bathroom could b doing with a refurbish and freshen up also a little bigger

Staff are second to none. Rooms are pleasant and warm. Always clean bedding. Easy access. Cannot fault. Superb service. Would like to reiterate the staff are friendly and helpful. Delighted and definitely exceeded expectations.

the bed was comfortable and a kettle was available in the room to make tea/coffee. Checking in was easy and staff were on call 24 hours though we never had to call them.

Doors were too noisy; if you had to get up in the night (and I always do) it was impossible to be quiet so as not to disturb other guests; the door latches closed with a bang that sounded almost like a gun going off. Also the smoke alarm kept flashing all night.

room very clean, one mattress was bit too soft though. As we were only staying one night was not much of a problem.

check was too abrupt, 11.00am would be better. However we did drink our coffee in the reception area to get us going in the morning. Which was OK ! ( Not a morning person)
