Again, I booked a room for my sibling and my niece and this time at Selah Garden Hotel Manila. I booked the reservation originally using my card but for some reasons my bank didn’t allow the hotel to process it through. It was midnight here in the US, so there is no way for to talk to my bank. I reached out to the property if it is possible that my sibling pay during check in. They responded and say yes! That’s a relief! My sibling and niece appointment finished a bit late so we decided to go ahead and extend their stay for another night and they gave us a discounted rate for the second night. All in all the stay was very good but I want to give them a shout out for their willingness to make things easier and smoother for their guests.

booking and checking in is hustle free. Near the event place that we are going to attend. Free drinking mineral water available at the corridor. There's a staging area where you can meet visitors and friends for a little chat.

the assigned room has flaws i.e. floor tiles are loose and not properly fixed. risk of tripping (specially for elderly). There's no enough parking space for guests although there is parking area (along the street) besides the property that has 24/7 security but still a hustle going and coming from your car.

I like style of the room and the place and its price is reasonable. The staff are also nice and friendly. All our clarifications, inquiry, and requests were answered and responded well.

We waited too long (almost an hour) for check in because they are fully booked on that day. In one of the rooms, they forgot to put towels. In the other room, the flush and bidet did not work in the morning. In the other room, the hot shower is not working. I hope they can maintain their standards even though they are fully booked.

The hostel was good value for money. There was 1 elevator, and the staff helped take our bags up. 7/11 right outside. Staff were super lovely.

We were on a high floor which was annoying to go up and down but not the end of the world. The bathrooms could have been slightly cleaner but they were decent for the money.

Meals were good. Nice ambience in the restaurant. We had a 4 person room - single n beds and the roomy was quite roomy. Easy to get transport. Felt secure on the property. Staff went the extra mile to make our stay great. Location is on airport side of Pasay city so a quick ride is a benefit in that respect. A short walk and across the pedestriay bridgeb above the road to a variety of eating places and some entertainment. A good street market and the big Catholic Church is a worth a visit no matter your denomination.

The staff are all polite and friendly. Though the property is small as compared with the other 5 star hotels they have complete facilities such as the pool, the spa or massage services, function room and dining with live entertainment/singing. The food is very good and worth its price.

Some of the rooms do not have tables and chairs, luggage rack and/or mini cooler or refrigerator. The parking space is very limited.

The area is quiet but I was surprised that taxis did not know how to go to the location. The hotel is very convenient to the location I needed to go to on Roxas Boulevard. Not much traffic to go there. The amenities are extremely good.

The room needs a little maintenance. The door was a little hard to open all the way and didn't close without pushing or pulling it.

I love the place, the rooms are spacious. We booked 2 rooms and 1 room alone can accommodate us all.

I guess the portion of the chicharong bulaklak. For the price of 300, the small plate still has a lot of space in it. Not really a good value of money as it is also not that crunchy when it arrived in our room.

Resort is within the city of pasay very accessible to nearby residences to have a weekend escapade...i dnt go too far to relax in a pool with the kids..selah is perfect...numerous activities to do..staff are courteous and attentive...to our needs..

Check in 3pm is fine but if you can have 1pm starts checking in..then people will not crowd the lobby and resto area waiting for 1hour ...spread out check in time anyways we get pur rooms by 3pm is ok..as long as we get to swim or do other activities ..

The pool, bar and the hotel itself was nice.

The location is not great. We were told that walking the streets around this particular area was quite dangerous. We were stuck down a one way street due to a truck trying to reverse into a factory and we had waited 45 minutes, our hotel was a 6 minute walk and we wanted to get out but unfortunately the grab driver said it was too dangerous.
