There is no Gym The pool area has grass-less patches. This is such a beautiful area with so much potential that seeing missing patches of grass was a shame. Such a quick win ! Driveway was poorly lit at night No Business Center or Common area to work from apart from the restaurant tables

The grounds and building at the property are beautiful and completely unexpected in the middle of a bustling area of the city. Close to EDSA station and Mall Of Asia (MOA). Friendly and helpful staff, breakfast menu was great and the restaurant terrace is a great place to chill out and have a glass of wine or a cocktail. We stayed in a suite which was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated in a traditional style.

If we were being picky… the area around the pool is limited for sunbeds (not that it was busy during our stay). The journey to Intramuros and other areas of the city were quite long, although the LRT makes that less of an issue.

Beautiful serene and tasteful oasis in the middle of Manila. Delicious food and a nostalgic design that takes you to a different era. We fell in love with Henry and it will be our pit stop stay when flying through Manila. Very close to the Mall of Asia and airport.

There might be some moisture issues in some of the areas/rooms. The synthetic grass at the gardens could be replaced or adjusted to create a more concise area - also there are some cats or dogs that tend to poo outdoors (like in the middle of the grass) and the staff is not really on it. Otherwise everything is a dream!

It's indeed an oasis of green in the middle of a busy Manila. When entering the gate, it really feels like you are entering another world or dimension. Those age-old trees surrounding the area and an old American architecture housing design made me felt like I am an in island province far far from the city while ironically we are in the middle of Pasay City. I stayed only for 2 days waiting for my flight back to the Netherlands but it felt like I am a resident of this place. Breakfast was also great, I actually like the idea that its a carte, that way, you don't waste food so much. The location is perfect for transit passengers coz its just about 15 minutes away from the airport. The staff were very nice and helpful. Will definitely come back to this place.:-)

The hotel's location was just right. We were picking up my sister-in-law from Terminal 1 and this place was just a few blocks from the airport. We set off early in the morning and came back to the hotel with minimal traffic.

Our stay preceded an approaching storm with threatening winds and rain, hence, the condition of the place reflected the prevailing weather. The driveway was a bit muddy and slippery. Dried leaves and a bit of rubbish were swirling in the premises. Floor tiles were wet and dirty. No fault of the hotel though. Inevitably, it was hard to gauge what the place was like in its normal condition. Had to leave quickly after breakfast to escape a deluge and subsequent flooding.

That it had galleries nearby.

The room, curtain was very dusty my husband had allergies all night. The room was very small and the garden was not well kept. The pool even has so many leaves and water looked murky.

I enjoyed my short stay at The Henry. Manager was totally charming as was every member of staff I met. Room was very good, excellent shower, comfy bed etc. Breakfast was good (6.5/10), you choose from a set menu which, I've never really been a fan of. Plus, as a serious coffee drinker in the morning found the limitation to two cups a bit harsh! Hotel is actually a little haven in the middle of a chaotic city. Most probably would stay there again.

The architecture (old mansion with style) and the garden makes the Henry hotel a very positive experience in Manila You are protected from the usual Manila rhythm, noise, crowd by being in this secured mansion hotel. The style, the equipments, the quality makes it a excellent place where to stay

The curtains in the bedroom could have been “doubled” with a light filtering tissue : meaning that in the morning the bedroom is bathed in light despite the drawn curtains Globally the personnel is responsive to your needs and eager to help … yet not very smiling. So I guess the customer relation could be somehow improved with a little more empathy

I loved the layout the decor, the gardens. The food and service was great, the room was lovely and well suited for my needs. it might be a little small for 2 people the space to move past the end of the bed is a bit narrow.

I only struggled in my room with the power for my phone and laptop, as the sockets were not ideal for my equipment and there was only one point that worked for charging, which was the shave plug in the bathroom. Even the hotel kettle needed to be plugged in here.

The authentic bungalow-style historic character is preserved whilst providing all necessary comforts and excellent service at a reasonable price. Rooms retained the cool 1940s aesthetic including the tile floors and shuttered windows, whilst functioning well. The intimate cafe/restaurant provided tasty food and the garden pool was a private oasis.
