Well designed, quiet and comfortable. Short distance with car to the airport and overall good location. Across the hostel is a laundry service which is very convenient. Staff is super friendly and helpful. I was able to store my luggage for a few days at the hostel which was incredible! Big thanks to Grace from reception! Many showers and toilets for the guests and the dorm beds were comfortable. They have a common area we’re you can eat and sit at tables or couch and a free water dispenser to refill your bottle. Even a separate quiet area when you need to work. I arrived at night and it was no problem to check in as reception is available 24/7. Overall stay was fantastic and I will definitely come again!

One thing to improve could be the door to the dorm room as it is quite hard to close from the outside and therefore a bit noisy.

The location is superb. Staff are friendly, they listen to costumer’s request because they’ve given me a quiet room. The facilities are true to the description online. I like how big the space is in 4bedroom place. The AC is good, lots of space, luggage locker is also available.

The blanket is too thin. My stay was almost perfect but I got a roommate who sleeps very late (1am) and puts on an alarm at the earliest 4:30am. There’s actually a rule by the hostel that from 1 1 pm till 7am- all guest should make less noise. I went down to the reception all mornings of my stay just so they could put off my roommate’s alarm. Inconsiderate guest.

it's my first review ever on bookings because this place really deserves it. right off the top the staffs already won my heart i had a late arrival, the reception lady (Mariah) had no complaints, nada and quickly checked me in with a super friendly manner. she also helped me out when i was struggling to book a grab omw back to the airport, i was so desperate because the system kept failing, even thought of taking taxis but she strongly recommended not to take it and swiftly solved the issue. after check in was done, the room attendant proactively offered to help me with luggages, and even though i refused they still helped me regardless. during my stay they also cleaned the room everyday, and they made sure i had fresh towels everyday. on top of that, them towels smelled heavenly. facilities wise was also amazing, everything is new, kept neatly (cus of the amount of room attendants keeping it clean and tidy), the lay out of this hostel is phenomenal and the rooms are literally so spacious. the bathroom are also insanely clean, it always smells nice and you can tell they've taken every single detail into consideration (led behind mirrors, anti-splashing curtain). shampoos and stuff also weren't cheap. if there's one thing i had to say is that the outside common area doesn't have any aircon (there was a dyson fan) and it gets hot really quick, but there's also a quiet common room where u can read and work at and its air conditioned. i am definitely coming back again cus of how amazing the staffs are.

I rarely give excellent rating but this new hostel exceeds my expectation. The staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. Arrived at 4 am for an early check in and the process is a breeze. Secondly, the bed! I don't expect much in a capsule and sharing hostel, but oh boy! the bed is a piece of luxury. Minimalist environment, with all the basic amenities, hot shower, clean toilets and common area. The place is an oasis in the middle of the city, plus it is walking distance to all nearby restaurants and mall in Pasay. Would definitely stay here again when in Manila.

This could be the best hostel to stay in Manila. The place is brand new. Comfy beds and pillows. There is security 24 hours a day. And it’s located on a quieter side street rather than a main avenue. All the staff is so kind and caring, and they try to make your stay enjoyable. Thank you Mariah and everyone. The place is incredibly clean. They also offer free local high end coffee which is delicious and much better than Starbucks and other brands. The air conditioning is strong and works well. You can take a grab or order food directly through grab.

WiFi speeds are good but sometimes pages don’t want to load.

Beautiful, aesthetic Japanese inspired design and decor. Dorm room is nice and spacious for 4 persons, bed was clean and comfy. Aircon unit seems old, though and a bit noisy. Bathrooms are nice, as is the common lounge. There is a security outside 24 hours and the staff on duty was always friendly. The lady staff that checked me in was wonderful. The hostel has great potential maybe once they are 100% efficient in operations. I enjoyed my short stay and will be happy to return.

The hostel seems quite new, a few months in operation. Room slippers are not provided, perhaps this is something that can be included in the room rate. Had to go back to the reception to buy a pair as informed by the housekeeping staff. Then had to go back up again as the reception did not have the slippers with them and told me it will be sent to the room by the housekeeping. Dorm door is quite hard to shut, and makes a loud noise if it is pulled shut. Need to check that. Perhaps it's a misunderstanding - using their access card, the housekeeping staff entered without knocking first, twice. This made me feel a little uncomfortable. Training needed.

The hostel is quite organized and spacious. The common dining area had TV and sofas and a quiet room for work and study. Overall, aesthetics were nice. Rooms were kept clean and tidy and had a separate storage cabinet. The shower and bath were quite well maintained. There are separate changing rooms, which i liked a lot. The place is located close to Mall of Asia by 20-minute walk and has easy access to intramuras and churches and museums by go-cabs or taxis. Lots of dining places and malls nearby.

It is just an observation - in common places like near shower/changing rooms, door mats were missing. It would have been nice to dry our feet after shower.

This was the BEST hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Absolutely stunning and the staff are incredible. The gentlemen who greeted me made sure I had an emptier room so I could get rest, and let me check in early. Mariah also did me a huge favour in a cash situation so thank you!! Showers are absolutely stunning and bathrooms were clean except one time. They had free coffee with a small kitchen area, and a very comfy lounge area with a huge projector and a quiet room for people who need to do work. Very fancy and a nice refresh from my usual budget hostels.

There was a very very strong smell of floor varnish while I stayed. I have asmtha and I’m sensitive to this and it was uncomfortable to have that strong scent across the hostel. Also the shower curtains blow around when showering because of the aircon above.

I love the vibe, with all the facilities you can enjoy. Not crowded, and too much space you can have fun with! I had the best and relaxing sleep ever!! The facilities are also techie and top notch, plus the locker with a lock!! No hudden charges pa ang locker unlike other dorm-type hostels. Actually, it looks like a hotel. 😊

The hot shower didn't work at night and one of the shower drainage is clogged. No hanger or hanging rack for the towel in the shower area maybe because they have a changing area? But still, hanging rack or something would be nice for the towel. 😍 But overall, the experience is superb!

Yamato was super clean, spacious and comfortable. The staff were all very helpful and the people welcoming. I only stayed for one night but would have happily spent longer here. Really recommend this hostel!

I loved my stay here but if you’re looking for a super social environment it might not be the best place. I did meet others but it wasn’t super busy. However, the social space has a projector and tables to hang out, so I’m sure it’s possible to make friends. I think this hostel would be great for anyone working remotely.
