Again, I booked a room for my sibling and my niece and this time at Selah Garden Hotel Manila. I booked the reservation originally using my card but for some reasons my bank didn’t allow the hotel to process it through. It was midnight here in the US, so there is no way for to talk to my bank. I reached out to the property if it is possible that my sibling pay during check in. They responded and say yes! That’s a relief! My sibling and niece appointment finished a bit late so we decided to go ahead and extend their stay for another night and they gave us a discounted rate for the second night. All in all the stay was very good but I want to give them a shout out for their willingness to make things easier and smoother for their guests.

The room was okay, I'd say that pricing was very fair to the service provided. Generally it's a good spot. The neighbourhood is relatively loud, at the same time the place provides extra activities which is a bonus. Our stay was short so not much to say on those.

The fridge is definately not capable of keeping things cool. Other than that really no complaints.

The place was very clean even with a lot of people who booked for rooms during our stay.

Security-wise, we were a bit worried when it was so easy for us to request for the staff to have our rooms opened by another key card. For us, there was a lack of verification if we were really those who are staying at a dorm-type room.

booking and checking in is hustle free. Near the event place that we are going to attend. Free drinking mineral water available at the corridor. There's a staging area where you can meet visitors and friends for a little chat.

the assigned room has flaws i.e. floor tiles are loose and not properly fixed. risk of tripping (specially for elderly). There's no enough parking space for guests although there is parking area (along the street) besides the property that has 24/7 security but still a hustle going and coming from your car.

The hostel was good value for money. There was 1 elevator, and the staff helped take our bags up. 7/11 right outside. Staff were super lovely.

We were on a high floor which was annoying to go up and down but not the end of the world. The bathrooms could have been slightly cleaner but they were decent for the money.

The staff are all very welcoming... we came early before our check in time but Ms Gel find us a very suitable room for 5.

The room itself is very clean. Toilet is separated from bath. They also have kettle and hairdryer which was very useful to us. And the pool is very nice and cozy...

The staff are all polite and friendly. Though the property is small as compared with the other 5 star hotels they have complete facilities such as the pool, the spa or massage services, function room and dining with live entertainment/singing. The food is very good and worth its price.

Some of the rooms do not have tables and chairs, luggage rack and/or mini cooler or refrigerator. The parking space is very limited.

I love the place, the rooms are spacious. We booked 2 rooms and 1 room alone can accommodate us all.

I guess the portion of the chicharong bulaklak. For the price of 300, the small plate still has a lot of space in it. Not really a good value of money as it is also not that crunchy when it arrived in our room.

Meals were good. Nice ambience in the restaurant. We had a 4 person room - single n beds and the roomy was quite roomy. Easy to get transport. Felt secure on the property. Staff went the extra mile to make our stay great. Location is on airport side of Pasay city so a quick ride is a benefit in that respect. A short walk and across the pedestriay bridgeb above the road to a variety of eating places and some entertainment. A good street market and the big Catholic Church is a worth a visit no matter your denomination.

The area is quiet but I was surprised that taxis did not know how to go to the location. The hotel is very convenient to the location I needed to go to on Roxas Boulevard. Not much traffic to go there. The amenities are extremely good.

The room needs a little maintenance. The door was a little hard to open all the way and didn't close without pushing or pulling it.
