The place was renovated not so long ago. You can tell the effort they put in, especially when you compare it with the hotels/motels around the area. The room was nice, the bathroom clean, the TV size was enough, self-parking and a big patio in the middle of the property with a lot of games for the guests, like giant chess and a couple of picnic tables for the guests to gather...

The A.C Unit was a little on the downside. When you have a window unit, sometimes you don't get the chilly air straight to you and then you're hot faster. And the mattress was not my favorite either...

Absolutely wonderful little gem of a motel. Recently remodeled with the comfiest beds ever. Very affordable and you still felt safe, pampered, and clean! There were a couple places the renovations they did were a bit obvious but not in a bad way, it just reminded you that it really was an upcycled old motel.

The electrical system hadn’t been updated because all of the outlets were ungrounded and lacked a grounding pin hole. This made it very challenging to use even just a laptop or any other appliance requiring grounding. Not impossible, just make sure your stuff is charged before you go and look by the microwave/ fridge for a plug (just remember it’s probably still ungrounded).

Very clean, well-appointed standard double queen. Extremely spacious. Bathroom was nicely updated with good lighting and a nice window that could be opened. The counter cabinet with coffee maker, microwave and hidden fridge was really nice. Very comfy beds and chairs with new light fixtures and pillar lamp; amazing natural lighting. Loved the courtyard with bbq area and yard games. Cold drinks available for $1 in the lobby. WiFi was strong and easy to access. The landscaping was amazing! The location is extremely quiet and I slept very well! I will definitely stay here again.

Great welcome from staff. Nice, old style motel where you drive up to your room. All single story to easily accessible. Nice outdoor area under shade. Decent, if noisy, air conditioning. Ok quirky restaurant nearby and a couple of old fashioned breakfast and burger places as well as a Subway are a very short car ride away.

Great location for visiting some of the State Parks. The room was large with a very comfortable bed. Coffee maker, microwave, and refrigerator included were a bonus. We loved sitting out in front of our room. Also, great picnic Area and play area for kids. I would recommend staying here!

Loved everything

The motel's harmonious fusion of vintage and modern aesthetics was truly unique, and this blend was executed with impeccable finesse. The service was outstanding, with housekeeping going above and beyond by not only making our beds and providing fresh linens but also neatly organizing our charging cables and folding the change of clothes our child had left on the bed.

The only drawback I could identify concerning this motel is the limited parking availability.

Location was perfect as it was 10 minutes from our travel destination. Food, groceries, and dive shop all nearby. The room was very clean and comfortable. All of the appliances were is good working order.

Was a bit shocked (no pun intended) to see ungrounded electrical sockets throughout the room including wet areas (bathroom/coffee maker). This is a safety problem that needs to be addressed by the hotel owner. Perhaps it “passes local code”, but could result in electrocution according to national code.

No breakfast, had to drive since the restaurant that was close by didn’t open until 10 or 11. Large room, comfortable bed, wi-fi ok. Hate to mention this, but there were two frisky German roaches around the coffee pot, so we stored our food in the car. This is an old fashioned motel that has been recently refurbished. Overall a pleasant experience, slept really well.

It was clean and cute. The beds and bedding were awesome! We were very comfortable.

My only complaint was no hot water. I could not take a shower because it was too cold and never warmed up.

The staff was wonderful, check in was a breeze the pavilion and games were a hit for the kids and it was a great stay.

The heat index was like 110 the AC was not on in the room when we got there so it took a good 4 hours to cool down to comfortable.
