Location....location....location. One of the best places to stay in Kodaikanal! It’s right on the lake, very close to the market, is actually in the center of the town, yet tucked away from the crowd, so you get the best of both worlds—peaceful surroundings with everything still close by. Every room opens up to a stunning view of the lake, which is absolutely breathtaking. You can take a walk along the lake, go boating, shop at the market—all just a short walk away. The property itself is beautiful and spacious, with lovely lawns to stroll on. The rooms are large, super clean, and very comfortable. There’s also a nice gym and a relaxing spa. The food was delicious with plenty of variety, and the staff were warm and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay and would love to come back again!

Connecting room....you can hear everything from the next room, and if the guests are noisy, it really disturbs your peace. It’s better to ask for a room without a connecting door for a more quiet and relaxing stay which we eventually did.

the exceptional politeness of the staff. especially mr venkatesh, ms devika & mr kalai at the restuarant. The front office & concierge too were extremely supportive.

wasn't happy about the quality of water. wish they atleast sold bottled safe drinking water.

Location of the Carlton is excellent, just overlooking the Lake. The package included Bed, Breakfast and Dinner which was worth the value for money Facilities included were the club house having the games - mostly complimentary excepting Billiards, air hockey Cycles were provided to guest on complimentary basis

Everything is perfect - Location, Staff, Food, Club, They can think of adding swimming pool to the property Earlier, they used to have their own boats for boating in the lake, can think of restarting the same

Stayed here for 2 nights this month (Oct 2022). It's located next to the lake and offers breathtaking views. Perfect for those who prefer calm and relaxing experiences with luxury. It also maintains good hygiene standards. The property offers ample parking space. Overall, the hygiene standard is good. What could be better? The only thing which I noticed was the restaurant table top, which had stains of food. Would recommend changing the tabletop dressings the moment someone has used it. No one wants to stare at the curry stains while eating.

The expanse , location and the cleanliness.The behaviour of the staff is very courteous.The Massuer’s were very good. The food and the coffee served was excellent.

I loved my stay at The Carlton. The location was perfect, offering a stunning view from my room. The hospitality was outstanding, and the facilities were top-notch. I can't wait for my next visit!

I felt the WiFi could have been a bit better; my connection was always intermittent.

Three main problems: - the wi-fi connection was unreliable, weak and with frequent outages. If you want to have an online business meeting or watch a movie online, think twice. - the room was noisy: kids often shouting in the long empty corridor in front of the room, workers banging etc. from quite early in the morning - I had a very negative experience using the hotel's travel agent. Their taxi left me halfway to my destination, I had to walk alone in the rain in the forest, totally lost. It took a day of heavy complaining after I finally got the payment back. Beware!

better provide lift to downstairs. we senior citizen feel difficult 3times food & going out by car to have the steps.last two season,we stay there only.in future also we shall come to say there.
