Nice property in the center. Our family room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was very good and with plenty options! We didn’t use the garage nor the gym/sauna but they were made available.

Our room was smelling bad when we entered. We had to open the windows and let the fresh air come in to get rid of the smell. Other than that no complaints.

The breakfast is good and the location is great. There is a lot of restaurants in Obernai, but you better order a table in advance for a dinner, as most of the restaurants become full by the evening. There is a public paid parking area next to the hotel, with a free parking during the dark hours, between 18:00-09:00. And another free public parking 8 minutes walk.

The bathroom in the old hotel building is small.

Gorgeous large room, due to an upgrade which was unexpected yet greatly appreciated. In the heart of town filled with restaurants. Staff were welcoming and friendly. Great bathroom with seperate toilet. Breakfast time was busy, however, fresh and delicious food. Free parking close by or paid parking.

Great location with parking behind the hotel along with Les Ramparts free parking lot nearby. Friendly staff. Excellent Breakfast, one of the best we've had during our travels. Clean hotel, room was clean, smaller than expected and pictured in booking. Very comfortable bed with perfect pillows, not the very flat Euro ones. Our stay was in the end of November. Very warm & comfortable room, hot water in the shower. Lighting in the bathroom was also good. The breakfast spread made up for the bad shower. A great spread of French cheese, meats, breads, yogurts & toppings, patisserie items, scrambled eggs & bacon. Great coffee. Fantastic start or end to the trip!

The shower had a few inches of wall without a curtain so even if you stand in the very corner with the shower head aimed at the corner wall, it will still pour out onto the floor. Learned to shower with my elbows tucked in so the water didn't directly slide out onto the floor. There wasn't a holder for the shower handle to sit in the bathtub either. It was a challenge to say the least and I'm a very tiny person. Toilet was in a separate closet across from the shower room with doors that hit each other. Both were not pictured on the hotel bookings and I scour the photos for decent bathrooms. The windows are not strongly sealed so it sounds as though you have the window cracked open, mostly quiet town though.

We love the hotel, we got the same room as the year before which has been refurbished, the staff are very competent and are happy to help us get a table at restaurants. We can strongly recommend the Hotel

Good central location and thus easy to get out in Obernai, good breakfast with many options, staff are friendly and helpful in finding possible places to eat in Obernai, good parking option close to the hotel. Definitely a hotel we will use next time the trip goes to Alsace.

Very nice welcome even in very late check-inn modus. Room was very spacy. Due to the point that I took full alsacian plate during the evening I was not able to take breakfast in the morning!! Colombier is doing very good in developing their hotel and I am customer since 20 years. Every time I come back there is new adds-ons in the hotel.

I would like to encourage the Colombier to replace the offered water (thank you for the free bottle) away from a plastic bottle offering glass bottle. The person at reception explained me that that is still stock they bought. Therefore I assume to see another nice improvement at my next visit which will surely happen!

We were upgraded to a full suite. The room was quite nice, and they accommodated my special request for two twin beds. There was paid parking available at the hotel as well, which was helpful as we traveled by car.

The sauna was not for all-hours use. This was a bit of an issue as we wanted to use the sauna/spa area around 10pm and the night reception turned us down.

The personal is amazingly helpful. The room is comfortable, air conditioning was working good. Small gym available with sauna. Coffee and tee in the room. In the center of the town but not directly on the main square - so, the loud evens, even heard well but not really disturbing.

Phone in the room - not clear how to call reception. No instruction. The info to order some food into room I'd seen by reception while check out only. It is not provided in the room

This is a wonderful 4* hotel in the very centre of Obernai. Our Exclusive Family room was very spacious - with separate bedroom and living room. Soundproofing was good, which was valuable given that the cathedral bell and the clock tower start chiming as of 7am. The beds are comfy. There's a reasonably priced public parking nearby or you can park in the hotel garage.
