The perfect type of rooms for our family of 10. the two bedrooms/full kitchen/living area with sofabed/2 bath/laundry in room was the perfect accommodations. The grounds were beautiful as well at the lagoon style pool. I like that it wasn't the huge sprawling high rise style. More intimate and laid back with easy access to everything. The location was perfect. A nice distance between north shore and south shore. The convenience of the Coconut Marketplace we awesome. No streets to cross...basically our own personal shopping area. We were there as well well as our kids many, many times. If we get back to Kauai we will DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN! It was the perfect Hawaiian style tropical atmosphere. And again, the large condo accommodations worked perfect for us. PS also had dinner in their restaurant...it was exceptional.

Can"t think of anything really. Our whole family of 10 ( including 4 grand kids age 13-9) loved everything about it!! Maybe my first concern before even arriving was about something that wasn't even a reflection on the resort. At first I wondered about not being on nice sandy beach directly in front but when we got there we saw there was a good beach just a few steps to the right. Having said that we never even went down to that beach. We went to so many beaches around the island that it didn't really matter all that much. After beach hopping around the island snorkleing and scuba diving, the kids were actually excited to get back to the resort pool rather than walk down to the "beach" area in front. So it worked out perfect and my initial concern was not an issue at all.

This was a beautiful, comfortable resort in a great location! A full kitchen was a great amenity, and the layout of the rooms was great. I loved staying on the east side of the island so I could get up every morning and walk along the beach basking in the beautiful paradise sunrises. Honestly this resort is one of the nicer places to stay, and the value was wonderful. There's even a cute little market across the parking lot with lots of shops and eateries. It's central to driving anywhere on the island, and it's well kept.

There is no elevator for the upper floors, so hauling stuff up and down the stairs was a little difficult.

The hotel was enjoyable, with a fantastic swimming pool and stunning beach views. The staff was friendly, helpful, and attentive. The restaurant served delicious food, making dining there a pleasure. The rooms were a bit aged but well-maintained and reasonably clean. We did notice some insects, but we understand that this can be part of the environment.

My only concern was that housekeeping services were only available after 10 days of stay, which felt quite inconvenient given our 7-day visit. While I understand that daily housekeeping may not be standard these days, I believe that at least one full cleaning and linen change should be provided during a week-long stay. We brought this to the management's attention, and they were able to change the linens, but no additional cleaning was offered.

The location was perfect. If we were to return to the island we would choose the east shore again. The staff was great and extremely responsive to our needs. The room size of the 1 BR suite with the kitchen, and washer and dryer was perfect for 2 people. I loved having the washer and dryer! The grounds were beautiful and the pool and jacuzzi were very nice.

Not much to complain about. We did wish that they had beach chairs and umbrellas to borrow. The drapes blocked most of the light but it still came in at the end near our heads. Our room had northern exposure, but I think an ocean view would have been brutal in the early mornings.

We did not have meals here. The room was clean and comfortable. The grounds facilities were beautiful. It was in a great location where we could walk to the nearby Coconut Coast Shopping Center.

Had to go to the desk two separate times to ask for extra pillows. At check -in we were directed to a desk to talk to a very friendly staff who insisted we schedule a meeting the next day for timeshare opportunities. This was not appreciated and when we said we were not interested she immediately became very curt and almost demeaning. We were tired from our flight and we did not ask for this high pressure intrusion! Parking lot close to our room was usually crowded and hard to find a parking place.

We were very happy with the location of this hotel. We wanted to do day trips to the north and to see waterfalls and this was perfect. The small mall across the street was wonderful. We used the market every morning for breakfast or evenings for a snack. The pool was so refreshing, the grounds are beautiful! The room was so big and comfortable. A walk down the boardwalk ended at Lava Lava Beach Club for dinner, which was so nice to be able to walk to. I would stay here again

Some of the people in lower rooms were very possessive about the grass outside their unit, and not very nice about it.

The suite was clean and well equipped. The sofa bed even had a decent mattress. The pool area was gorgeous. The location was great, restaurants and shops across the parking lot and a Safeway within 20 min walk. The property is right on the ocean and a there was a constant cooling breeze off the ocean.

Despite it being right on the ocean, there isn't much beach or great area to swim. We walked along the beach and found an area where the swimming was better.

The area is quite quiet, and off the beaten path but has an ocean front (not swimmable). We weren't there to swim, we were there to relax, and hang out, walk along the shore, and not be overrun by tourists.

There were a few guests who were not good at following the basic rules, of no smoking, and after hours noise. It would be good to see at least one security person checking up on these types of problems at night, or better signage.

Location on the island. Well maintained property. Beautiful views. Nice oceanfront with beach.

Strange comment I’m sure, but I don’t enjoy hearing the complaints of the Time Share owners when we are socializing by the pool. This was my second year visiting Kauai and stayed at the resort both times. I truly enjoy it but both years have experienced this. The only other criticisms would be the jacuzzi needs to be serviced, not all of the jets were working. Pillows could be a bit better….firmer.

Beautiful grounds. Delicious meal at restaurant. Beds very comfortable. AC worked well. Very close to pharmacy and grocery shopping.

Can't book excursions on site unless you agree to attend time share seminar. We were told we could book a Luau immediately but as soon as we declined to attend time share meeting, we were told we'd have to walk to another resort to bòok it and any other excursions. Roosters woke me every morning.
