Staff allowed us to change our booking on short notice as we had to travel home for a family emergency at no extra charge.

The lock on the bathroom door as it wouldn't open and I was trapped in there for about 20 minutes. There was no answer on the motel phone number and no one responded when my son ran up to the office and got no response when he knocked and called out. I was able to get out and management did come and apologise and gave the undertaking to repair the lock ASAP. Otherwise, the stay met our needs.

We always enjoy our stays at the Wagon Wheel Motel when travelling through Coonabarabran, we know that everything will always be ok with our room after a long journey North or South. The rooms and beds are comfortable, the service is always good, the shower is always welcome and we are never disappointed with our stay here. We actually look forward to arriving here.

Peacefu,l fridge worked, aircon worked, tv worked , microwave worked handy to main road easy parking in front of unit

Woken up a bit too early by an early morning departing neighbour. Problem being close to parking is you can, hear other people leaving at 3am. Can't have it both ways I guess. Other thing asfaik was no way to stream to the tv and no in-house wifi , but phone signal good.

It was pretty much what you would expect for what you pay. Comfortable and clean.

The sign outside (and room description on this site) said pet friendly, but apparently that was only for some rooms (and dogs are supposed to stay outside). The message we sent stating we had a small dog wasn't received. We were able to sort it out, but that info would probably have been useful when we were booking.

The location was just great, in a lovely rural setting, which was quiet and most relaxing. The staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. I loved the location and peacefulness.

There were quite strong storms overnight and the the drain backed up in the bathroom, one of the vagries of being in the country. I still had an enjoyable overnight stay and would stay there de again.

the bathroom tap was leaking which we told reception and they were getting onto it straight away and also fridge had been turned up too high and froze our stuff, maybe the cleaners could check fridges when they are in rooms

Dave and Jenny were warm, friendly, accommodating and we would stay there again. Modest facilities that catered to our requirements. We were left to enjoy ourselves and wander around the property exploring the grounds. Although the pool was closed we can imagine how lovely it'd be in summer! The electric blankets were awesome!

The grounds are beautiful and spacious for walking my dog, the staff are always friendly and it's my "go to" stop over when I travel with my furry friend.

The screen door didn't close properly so had to be extra vigilant with keeping the dog secure.

Overnight stay, facilities are aged, exceptionally clean, positioned well off the highway & quiet. Walk to a local Hotel for the best “steak Wednesday” meal we have enjoyed for some time. Nice town Coonabarabran, we’ll be back again. Thank you.

The location was great, the room was lovely we stayed in Room number two their largest room as we had our dogs in show trollies in the room There was room to take the dogs for a walk i hope to stay again in the future the room was lovely the beds were comfy and the staff were just lovely
