The two managers could not have been more helpful. We were delayed by storms and traffic and had to request a later check in than planned. They were very accommodating and assured us it was no trouble. They were good to their word and were extremely helpful throughout our stay. Their dining recommendations were spot on, too. Pet friendly, our girls had a lovely time.

That I didn't go for a swim in their gorgeous looking and excellently maintained pool. I have absolutely NO complaints.

Great accomodation after a long drive. Clean comfortable with everything we needed. Derek couldn’t have been more welcoming even turning our electric blankets on and directing us in parking our camper van. He then provided us with crockery for our takeaway and breakfast. He also made our dog feel welcome and we had a grass area outside our door for her. Highly recommend

Slightly dated but everything worked and extremely comfortable

My dog and I had such a lovely stay at Coachmans Rest Motor Lodge. The lovely gentleman who checked me in was incredibly kind and made sure I had everything I needed. The room was clean, cosy, and came with a much-needed heater and even an electric blanket. The property is beautifully kept, with a great little area next door for pups to sniff and play. Highly recommend for anyone travelling with pets!

The room was very spacious, bathroom had plenty of room, it was clean, was super comfy and the staff were very accommodating, only slight let down was a little bit of road noise from passing trucks. Overall very happy and will book again if i am up that way. Motel is pet friendly which was a key point for us, owners were even interested enough to ask our dogs names. And to top it off, very good value for money...... Thanks

Only scored a 9 because I had to leave very early and didn't get a chance to test out the shower. I have a feeling that will be up to scratch like the rest of my stay. The greeting by the kind host was wonderful, I appreciated the microwave in the room, the ability to have my small dog in my room, and the lovely surrounds. Easy to find, comfortable room, bed, and sold, quiet room.

Very friendly owners who went the extra mile to make us feel at home. Lovely pool, clean, comfortable room and just a few mins' drive from town with a lovely bakery for breakfast and/or lunch. Several options for dinner too. Highly recommend this motel.

A wonderfully central, easy to find motel. The welcoming host gave us options of rooms which was most appreciated as my husband is rather limited with his mobility. Our room was comfortable and cosy. Despite being next to the highway, there was no noticeable noise interruption.

Amiable host showed us various rooms from which we could choose. QS bed, Crockery provided on request. Good sized room with a table and chairs. Walk in shower. Ground floor room requested and granted. Pool on site (but too cool to swim)

The host was very welcoming and the familyroom we stayed in was very warm and comfortable. We even had electric blankets . My son loved the little extras of hot chocolate and generous milk. Would definitely stay here again.

The owners were extremely helpful and lovely people, very easy going and care free, been travelling for a week and their beds seemed to be the comfiest, the grounds are also kept very well maintained, very welcoming place overall
