The location is great, close to el Prado and lots of restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel is the best with an amazing view, great chef and staff. Alejandro at the front desk was very attentive and helpful!
We stayed on the 6th floor and the restaurant was right on top of us so it was quite loud all the time, early morning and late night until restaurant was closed so not the most relaxing if wanting peace and quiet, maybe another floor is better for this. At the same time our room had an amazing view that you can’t even get at the Ritz which we stayed before. Restaurant and service much better than Ritz.

Amazing staff - initially arrived at 6am and could check in early (note - had to pay half the room fee) which was great. we also had to extend our stay as we were both ill and they sorted this out for us. Quick & good laundry service. Rooms itself were really nice and clean, comfy bed, felt safe. Bar/terrace was really nice with good views - didn’t eat here so unable to comment on food. Didn’t try breakfast as was ill. Location was okay - not in the middle of the action but able to walk 20 mins to most things or get cheap uber easily!
No dislikes! But Early check in costing half the room price seemed a little steep as it was already ready and didn’t need to be cleaned - but not major issue, we needed extra sleep after a long night bus so happy to pay!

The Madero hotel is the most modern hotel in the zone. The ubication is perfect to go around and do tourist, most of the tours go from the zone. The room was perfect to take a rest. The wifi was perfect.
Breakfast was a buffet but it didn't have many options and it wasn't enough for all the guests we were. They also did not replenish products that were already out of stock frequently enough.

My room was cute and okay for one person stay. It is clean with nice washroom and table. Only thing is it doesn't have kettle so you have to ask for hot water in the hotel's restaurant but hot water is free so you can ask anytime. Breakfast was good and it has variety of juices and fruits. Overall hotel is clean and area around the hotel is safe in my opinion. Witch market and shopping centers and bars are walkable, 8-15 minutes depending on your pace, but location is great.
No free coffee available or kettle. I can hear the conversation and noise from the other room so no noise buffer I guess.

The staff were extremely welcoming and the front desk provided some of the best service I received in Bolivia. They made the check in process very efficient. In our group, some received very spacious rooms and some others hoped for more room. The warm shower and nicely styled bathroom and speedy wifi were welcomed additions for work travel. My favourite part was the rooftop cafe and included morning breakfast.
The beds in my room were very, very hard but my colleagues stated they didn't have the same experience. There was a kettle in the room but no access to tea and coffee. When I requested it, I was responded to via WhatsApp quickly but needed to purchase the tea from the rooftop cafe. Thus, I was slightly confused by the presence of mugs, spoons and a kettle. Overall for the price and location this is a good place to stay.

Truly exceptional stay for a great price. The hotel is modern and very clean. The rooms are spacious and really comfortable for a perfect night’s sleep. Breakfast is really varied and delicious, and the food and drinks in the evening are tasty and very fairly priced. The staff, especially Alejandro at the reception, were super helpful and friendly, and gave great recommendations.
No issues with the property. Of course it could always be closer to the main tourist centre, but it is still only 10-15 minutes walk away from the main sights.

+ location + clean + hot shower + blow dryer + shampoo and shower gel dispenser availability + luggage storage when we went to Uyuni
- night staff was not very approachable and welcoming - the same night staff did not record my laundry payment delaying out check out - breakfast has no variety. The same menu every day. - reception required to us to pay in USD instead of Bolivianos quoting that we booked via Booking.com. $ Market conversion is quite high that is why. - no AC. Just heater. - need to pay for early check in.

This is a nice modern hotel in a busy part of La Paz. We were there as a family of 6 adults and used the hotel as a launching point for exploring the city and surrounding area. We booked three rooms, I highly recommend paying extra for the suite as I thought the other rooms were a little small. We loved the rooftop bar/restaurant and spent much time admiring the views and the food. The restaurant staff was very professional and friendly, putting up with my poor Spanish. Most of the staff spoke good English. I have to compliment the front desk staff, especially Marciello? and Kevin. They were outstanding helping us organize tours and with some tricky logistical issues. They truly went above and beyond with their help.
All good.

We had a great stay at this hotel in La Paz. It was close to the downtown tourist area, making it walkable for booking/starting tours or shopping in this area. The hotel is modern, the bed was comfortable, and everything in the room looked just like the pictures when booked. We used the laundry service offered by the hotel. Prices were comparable to places around the hotel, and clothes turned out well.
Breakfast was just ok. A lot of bread products and not much variety of items.

This hotel is located in a good location. Lots going on around and we felt pretty safe. There were lots of ships and restaurants within walking distance. Only stayed over one night as we had to fly out early in the morning. We had a lovely dinner on the rooftop restaurant with a beautiful view over the city and mountains, watching the fireworks. The service was great and they even prepared us a bagged breakfast for our early morning departure. Would stay there again and recommend it to others.
There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about this hotel.
