From start to finish Ocean Coast was an amazing stay! We will definitely be going again. Rich, the associate at the desk, was FABULOUS. He was so nice, understood our needs, and MADE SURE we were happy. I cannot stress enough how GREAT he was. He deserves a RAISE! Yes, I am putting CAPS because he deserves to stand OUT compared to the rest of the review. RICH made us feel rich there, waiting on us with KINDNESS, PATIENCE, HUMOR, AND UNDERSTANDING. For Ocean Coast, they have AMAZING people and it's proximity to the beach was a short walk without the price of being right on the sand! Everything was clean and well prepared, the included amenities was amazing! We felt like we were on a luxury vacation on economy pricing. My family and I had a lot of fun. When is was too dark to be in the ocean, we spent time in the pool. When we woke up, we had a great breakfast in the dinning room. Everything was simply wonderful.

The only sole complaint I have is about an hour before breakfast closes, EVERYTHING was gone except eggs (to which I am actually allergic).... There wasn't any waffle mix, syrup, milk, regular bagels, or muffins. It was upsetting but we got to have a great breakfast the morning before so I didn't want to tarnish the review.

The room was spotless, had everything but, coffee maker. We very much enjoyed the room. Location is great. The beach is right there and Olde Town is not far. The room was extremely quiet. The breakfast had a huge selection from muffins, all kinds of bagels, cereals, yogurt, biscuits and sausage and gravy, waffles and breakfast sandwiches. The lady on the breakfast room kept it full and cleaned. It is a large room so plenty of room to sit. Plus breaks till 11 am!

The one big thing was the bed it was so firm it was like a board. So we needed our ibuprofen. We live an hour away so it wasn’t for the bed we would use this for a weekend getaway very often.

Location, Tiana and the front desk team. The suite was large. Really nice pullout sofa. Waived pet and parking for me due to evacuation during Milton. Breakfast was available, my husband loved the Jimmy Dean biscuits! The beach was a short walk, lovely shops right there too. Maintenance manager came and fixed the tv channels right away. He was also incredibly helpful.

The hot tub was closed waiting for a part but it’s the nature of the business. Pool was open. I ended up buying a little coffee maker for the suite as there wasn’t one. But I was there for a week evacuated due to hurricane. Coffee available at breakfast.

The location was easily accessible from the main roads and down town Fernandina ( by car) and technically walkable to the beach access. The room was large and offered all the basic amenities like fridge and microwave. The hotel pool was very large. Although I did not use any of the following I did see a basketball court, pickle ball court, picnic tables and grill, laundry facilities. The front office was very helpful especially when our first room had a snafu with the A/C. Breakfast was very good offering both hot and cold items. Overall I felt it was a really good value .

Both rooms we were in had a little musty odor. Not sure why there was a $10 /day parking fee .

Location was the best! Loved that it seemed so family friendly and easy for kids to play at the pool. Good vibe at the pool too: lovely staff and decent background music and good amount of late afternoon shade in summer. We also liked the extra sink outside the bathroom I our room, and the shower (not an annoying bath you usually have to step into)

Mouldy musty smell in our room.

There is a great pool and jacuzzi in a hotel. There is a laundry, spacious rooms and a good breakfast. The beach is a 2-minute walk away. You can also go to the beach by car (only if it is a four-wheel drive or AWD). There is also a great pizzeria with delicious pizza next to the hotel ($20-25).

The sofa in the double room (I think it was #245) is completely worn out and needs to be replaced.

The layout was simple and a 5-minute walk from the beach access. It wasn't hard to find our room, despite how big the facility is. The staff were incredibly friendly, and went over all the hotel and stay information with us. The pool was very clean, and it felt amazing. The breakfast was delicious, and the dining space was very clean. And all of the fellow guests we interacted with were so nice!

Pretty much everything. Wendy from the front desk was super helpful and nice but also everyone else. Unexpected they have games , Bikes and wagons for the beach included in the hotel price. Heated swimming pool ,jacuzzi Pickleball courts breakfast included. You name it they have it. Rooms they're very clean and updated. The beach is 2 minutes a walk .I was really surprised. And you can take your dog . The only bad thing I can say, was too much noise from some other customers during the night but that just happened during my stay. And even about that they took care of it . We'll definitely go back.

I liked everything.

Breakfast was wonderful—always fresh, full of items, and great customer service. The pool was great, so clean always. The room was great for the value and short distance to the beach. We enjoyed how quiet and friendly it was—vacationers and staff. The area was clean, with no interruptions, and we had the best sleep. Downtown was close with adorable shopping, as well as tons of beautiful nature, including the Clinch Fort Park—a must-see!! Thank you for making our stay awesome!

We Loved the location, it was within walking distance to the beach, a great seafood restaurant, and another late night bar. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was excellent with homemade biscuits and gravy. The price was very afforatable and worth every penny. We will be coming back and staying Again. We had a wonderful time.

The only thing was our door you really needed to pull tight in order for it to click and stay closed.
