Received our keys and information from the front desk at the Omni Resort. There were two gentlemen who greeted us, gave great directions as this is the first time we are staying in the Villas outside of the Omni Resort/ Hotel. In the 12 years that my family and I have celebrated the New Year, The experience at the Omni Amelia Island never disappoint. Exemplary customer service, a safe place to enjoy New Year's eve, College game day. The location of the room was better than expected as it was on level one right on the ocean with amazing views of the night sky. Bonus the firework display was right on out backyard.

The room had a musty smell when we first entered, but dissipated shortly after running the a/c.

I loved the location and access to all of the amenities. The staff was very helpful & we had a great time! The pools were lovely & it was perfect for my family!

The only downfall was that the elevator broke & we had to walk 6 flights of stairs. My grandma was unable to come back up after having to walk down them..she is 85. I also had 3 small children with me I had to carry, so it was very inconvenient and tiresome. Other than that, we had a great time!

Even in the midst of cleaning up following a tropical storm, the staff went out of their way to satisfy our needs.

We were on the first leg of our honeymoon. I DID NOT LIKE that Booking.com had not reserved the Ocean-view room that we had requested. It was disheartening to learn from resort management that the room reserved by Booking.com was not facing the ocean. After expressing my displeasure, I had to negotiate a change in the room location to achieve our wishes.

Beautiful grounds and clean. Very scenic and enjoyable. Peaceful and quiet. Live the trails and walk ways.

We booked via booking so unclear if we had access to pool at Omni or tennis/ pickleball. Many sub communities within gated property so unclear which access we could enter. Hard to find coffee for purchase for mornings. Had to go out of property to find each day.

Brought 3 of my grandchildren (ages 22, 20 and 15) to stay in your resort. We stayed in a villa. It was all 1st rate and they had a fabulous time. They had never been anywhere like The Omni Plantation and they appreciated every moment. Staff, food and amenities were just wonderful. Thanks so much for everything!!

Resources for the handicapped and senior citizens were difficult to find. I found the elevator from the pool level to the lobby only by following another senior on the last day. I did not see any sign that pointed the way to get to it. There were a lot of ramps but not a lot of signs showing the best way to find the best way for the handicapped to get around. Other than that, it was perfect!!

One of the best properties we have ever stayed at! Just perfect! From the staff to the rooms themselves. Just couldn’t ask for anything more. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and make sure we had a good time! Our 6 year old loved it and we felt like we could relax while she had a good time.

That we didn’t stay longer.

The property was beach front. Great view. Felt private. The shower was great. Loved the patio.

Some scratches on the furniture here and there from previous guests but it was nothing to complain about.

The property was gorgeous. The resort had everything you could want or need, playgrounds for the kids were great, nature trails, beach access. I could go on and on it was wonderful! But the best thing was the staff they were amazing and kind and so helpful. The room we originally booked the air conditioner wasn’t working I called to see if they could fix and that wasn’t an option due to parts so they took us from our villa and upgraded us to an ocean front room in the hotel. They gave us complementary drinks and an appetizer in the hotel bar they were going to give us free breakfast but the conference we were there for was already providing it. We can’t wait to come back and stay here again. Thank you to all the staff from front desk to the bellman to the bartender and house keeping! I wish I could remember everyone’s names because you were all AMAZING!!! traveling with a 2yr old and 14 yr old could have been a disaster with no air day 1 and my 2yr old having an accident all over our bed at 10pm on day 2 . The staff made it amazing and relaxing thank you for being so caring and nice.

It was hard to navigate such an large property with the security gates most of which are electronic.

We enjoyed our stay so much we are planning a summer trip. We stayed in the sandcastle villas. I will say our room was exceptional, we enjoyed having a full size kitchen and extra space. We stayed on the 200 level and our patio were steps away from the pool and the beach- which was amazing!

After upgrading to an oceanfront villa, experience much better. Access to beach, pool and restaurants was very good.

Disappointed in first villa. In a secluded area next to tennis courts. no easy beach access. difficult to get luggage into villa, no elevator & limited access from parking lot to villa. Oceanfront villa was a bit shabby, needed upgrading of furniture and more kitchen linens. We had to use our own!! Prices in restaurant were very high!
