Great view; nice little beach bar located directly behind the hotel; great location near restaurants; great beach/ ocean view.

Check in was time consuming due to some room reservations being moved around by multiple staff members. We were unable to check in until after the confusion was sorted out and rooms were ready, but we were able to walk across to a restaurant to wait. Also, our bathroom was not cleaned. There was beard trimmings (I hope) in the sink. The shower was also not cleaned with hair/residue.

Liked that hotel was on the beach Breakfast was better than expected and woman in charge of the dining area always made sure everything was well stocked! Rooms were nice with living room separate from bedroom.

The fact that you couldn't check in before 4. Such a waste of day having to check in after 4pm then you have to be out by 11. No housekeeping-since the pandemic everyone of you make excuses for no housekeeping! The amount of money you charge to sleep in a bed is ridiculous when you have to do everything yourself! I'm talking about people coming to your facility for vacation-we kind of want the garbage cans emptied and room tidied. I don't really want to remember to stop by front desk for towels and toilet paper.

The location was perfect! We had a balcony room, and we really enjoyed using it! The room and hotel were very clean and always smelled amazing! Breakfast was great! The daily made fresh cookies were delicious!

The walk to the beach wouldn't have been so bad if the sand wasn't so hot! The bed and sofa bed weren't comfortable at all.

First time staying. Location was perfect. Right beside the beach so you just step out on the sand instead of long walks on wooden decks. Also public parking right by the hotel so you could be on the beach all day and then check in your room at 4 o’clock.

I like everything. I’ve stayed in Fernandina many years and never tried this place and couldn’t believe the difference. Prices could always be better but that is with any hotel these days.

Our stay was only for 2 nights, but if we had more time available, we would have stayed longer. I loved the instant beach access. There was not a lot of overnight parking available, but we had no issues finding a spot onsite to park. The rooms were small, but fine for two people. The bathrooms were well stocked and very clean.

I wish we had the option to choose a room that had a beach view from the balcony. Our balcony overlooked the street.

The hotel was beautiful inside and out. The beds were comfortable and we had a lovely view of the beach. The staff was super friendly and our breakfast was delicious. They had a lot of good options for breakfast like bacon, eggs, biscuits, gravy, waffles, yogurt, cereal, and other toast and pastries. Parking was very convenient too. This was a fantastic value, and we had a great time. We even ate our dinner at the Sandbar restaurant next door.

There was nothing I didn't like about our stay.

The location was perfect. Reasonable price for the area.

The pool is not really a true amenity. It’s super small but it’s okay the beach is what we came here for. The beach chair & umbrella rental was confusing and complicated; but it was 3rd party. Wish it was lounging chairs and not sitting chairs. Our check in was a bit rough when we were told our rooms will be ready in 20 min which turned into 1.5 hours. However speaking to the receptionist Liz the days after that saved the whole experience. She’s super efficient and competent. We wished she was there at check in. DAILY housekeeping should be optional especially since we are in a beach area. There was no housekeeping provided for short stays.

The location was awesome

The website and pics are somewhat deceiving. I booked online a deluxe sweet with a poor view. It showed an outside patio, and the room that I was provided was without a patio. Also, the iron was broken and needed replacement. The sleeper bed was filthy, and the carpet was nasty looking with spots and discoloration. They provided a pretty good breakfast, available coffee was cold, and they required microwave warming. Overall, the stay was ok and absolutely not a deal breaker.

I've stayed here a couple of times, it's a great hotel, and if you're luck enough to get an ocean front view, you'll also likely to hear less traffic at night.

More than two towels in the room would be nice, especially when staying for the minimum three days, at least during THE AMELIA event weekend, and you have to remember each day to request room service ... then when you miss it for two days, you're out of luck.

Location is great. There are a few minor inconveniences,but overall a good place to stay!

In our room they only provided one set of towels. They were happy to provide additional towels by request, so not a big deal. There aren't any available hooks or locations to hang up wet items. The air conditioner never stops running and it's located in the room. Even when it's not actively cooling, the fan keeps running, and yes, I tried all the switches. The shower door opens into the water stream. The cleaning staff could do a better job.
