The Valle D'Aosta isn't the cheapest area in Italy, and this hotel is exceptional value for money. Even the basic rooms feature copious furnishings, cupboards, desks shelves and most notably a mirror + sink, allowing you the opportunity to perform simple hygiene from the comfort of the room. Otherwise shared bathrooms are available on each floor. The largest rooms have fully equipped ensuites, and whilst nothing is particularly luxurious it exceeds the asking price. The staff here are exceptionally friendly and outgoing, and will do their best to explain the area despite the language barrier, and will actively help you find points of interest and opportunities nearby in the valley.They are on hand and available even late in the evening should you require assistance.There's a downstairs dining/entertainment/bar area, and breakfast is available for a small fee.

The road outside is somewhat busy, though this is offset by access to public buses less than five minutes walk from the front door.

Hotel "Good Stay" is the ideal stop for the night if you are with your own private transport as it is situated on the main road between Aosta and Courmayeur on the French-Italian border and has its own car park at the front and side of the hotel. However if you are on foot/public transport, like in my case, the nearest bus stop to/from Aosta and other destinations is less than 10 minute walk away. It is a bit far from Aosta but I was left with no choice but to book "Good Stay" hotel as it was was very economical in comparison with what was available less than 2 months before the arrival date. The bedroom I was checked into on the 2nd floor was spacious and clean and had a balcony even if the view of and sounds from the main road were not ideal for relaxing. The separate shared bathroom was only shared with another bedroom. The hotel hosts are very friendly and keep the hotel tidy and clean. There is a well stocked Conad supermarket with hot food to takeaway and a restaurant by a lido 10 minutes walk away.

As the breakfast is not included in the overnight price on booking.com I purchased it as an extra however I was left a little disappointed by the end of my stay. The breakfast offer, which was served by one of the friendly hotel hosts, was the same every morning and very glutenous (slices of white bread and seeded bread and some croissants). I was expecting more dairy/protein items - yoghurt - and some basic cereal. The main road is very busy with traffic but sometimes late in the evening it is not which means some motorbikes and cars race past and make a lot of noise. The shared bathroom was cramped so not very suitable for a larger person or someone with mobility issues.

Everything! Andrea and Stefano are consummate professionals! They are warm and welcoming, go out of their way to make their guest feel welcome- and stay discretely out of the way if a guest just seems to want a quiet place to rest and enjoy the amazing mountain views- which are accessible by balcony views in many rooms. The hotel itself is situated conveniently near several bars, a restaurant, and public transport and there's even a supermarket and neighborhood tobacceria that serves fantastic coffee just a few minutes away! The rooms are spotlessly clean, with every thoughtful convenience you might wish for- and decorated beautifully! There's also a huge terrace for your morning coffee, and a lounge and bar on site, as well as breakfast options available.

Andrea was very professional in his job and catered for my every need which wasn't much but it was enough for me to leave a good status on this message the facilities were clean and tidy the breakfast probably could do with changing put all in all I had a very comfortable two weeks relaxing

I was surprised how comfortable the bed was. Nice and clean room with its own bathroom. The stuff was friendly, the breakfast ok, with very interesting dining room. Just below the hotel, you can connect to a path next to the river, and this path can take you to the center of Aosta few km away. Good if you want to walk or bike to the town.

My room was on the street side, so it was a bit noisy because of the traffic. I just closed the window because it was cold outside anyway. Had a great sleep.

Fantastically helpful staff. It was a little out of town but you can walk along the bike track on the river right to the front door! And staff helped my find a bicycle for a few days as well as a bus stop to access Cogne just a 5 minute walk from the hotel!

The decor was a little dated but everything was clean and well maintained.

The hotel is next to a busy and loud road. However, the hotel owner was nice enough to offer me a different (and bigger) room where I wasn't bothered by the noise at all. Very friendly!

We liked the proprietors. We liked our dog be welcomed. We liked cups of hot water being produced on demand for tea. We liked that the owners could chat in any language that we chose. The bed was comfortable.

Bathroom was a bit small.

Friendly host, comfortable room, functional kitchen (studio room). Free parking on premises.
