The room decor is a mix of old & new. The room size is very comfortable for 3 adults. My son has a Murphy bed laid out for him. There is a big patio too to chill and have a glass of wine. This place is kid-friendly, there is a garden, and I saw kids playing with their football. We arrived late at night and had to leave early the next morning; thus were not able to fully explore the ground.

I wouldn't say 'didn't like' but rather think it can be improved. There is no privacy in the shower room (no door) and no shower curtain; therefore, water splashes out of the boundaries, and the floor can be slippery. I think installing a shower curtain will easily solve the water splashing and privacy issues. The toilet is separated from the shower.

I liked the location, it was out of the center of the city, to be specific 5 minutes in car from Besalú bridge. That's was exactly what we wanted a placed sorrounded by nature. But closed to the cities we were visiting those days. Great breakfast, too Mediterranean but that's not bad if you are European.

The first night I noticed too much pet hair in the room, the floor and the bed. The next morning I let the owner know about it, and they changed the sheets.

The breakfast at this hotel was truly exceptional, offering a wide array of delicious and nutritious options. The eggs were cooked to perfection, accompanied by a delightful assortment of fresh, crisp vegetables, and meats. An abundant selection of succulent fruits was available, providing a refreshing and energizing start to the day. The coffee served was rich, aromatic, and invigorating – just what one needs to kick off a fantastic morning. Overall, this hotel's experience is a delightful, very quite place, a lot off green around, great swimming pool, super nice staff. Few words about restaurant where we had few dinners , it was delicious Catalan meals , various every day, highly recommended place.

The hotel is an amazing secluded little gem - friendly staff, well-kept property, and the public places are very clean.

One could say the location is a little bit too remote, but honestly: you don’t book this location for the busy nightlife and bars closeby: you book this place to enjoy some rest.

Exceptional rural gem. Place to totally rest surrounded by nature. Fantastically executed idea. Very spacious, beautifully designed modern rooms. Outdoor eating. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful renovation of a typical stone house. We stayed for 1 night with our dog traveling from France to southern Spain. We will be back !

There is nothing to dislike!

Lovely room for a family of 3 with a doggie who was able to run around the garden area of this beautifully restored Catalan Masia - he absolutely loved it. The staff were fantastic - our room was cleaned and tidied every day, towels were hung up to dry on a rack and a dog bed was provided for our puppy which we didn't even ask for. We were supplied with a large fresh bottle of water every day and, although the restaurant wasn't open during the days we were staying there (it only opens on Friday and Saturday in the Winter), they offer a lovely menu to guests which changes daily and you can order your evening meal by midday that day. The food was also great - traditional Catalan meals - comforting hearty food (although could do with some extra veggies). We really enjoyed our stay - thank you.

The only thing I would suggest is some green veggies with the main meals or at least a salad option on the menu. I love Catalan and Spanish food but it can get a little bread and meat heavy after a few days.

The facilities are new with very cozy atmosphere, a great place to relax with family. A nice swimming pool, not very big but good enough for kids to play or grab a book and lay in the pool side.

If you come to hotel at night, need to be careful to make sure turn in the right way, it’s quite dark, needs extra attention.

Really Beautiful property and amazing, hospitable staff. Went out of their way to make our stay an enjoyable experience. Rooms are simple and clean. Not a fancy place but really nice - great beds and super water pressure. Breakfast was a delight and the prices are great! Definitely recommend this location. Lots of space for the kids to run around. Didn’t use the salt pool but hope to the next time.

Beautiful property in lovely surroundings. Set in the countryside. Peaceful. Amazing food and very helpful and friendly staff.

If you want to be very fussy the pool is small but it was lovely to cool off in.

booked and arrived within the hour and all was ready. I had a big, comfy room with a kitchenette which was handy and suited my needs that night. Comfy huge bed. Nice breakfast. Very friendly and attentive staff I would happily stay here again, many thanks.
