The booking, payment, room allocation and key collection, electric blanket, parking, room, shower, fridge, cutlery, linen, bed, toilet were all good. Don't worry too much about the "what didn't you like" comments below - I just like giving feedback.

I had trouble getting the heating to heat (until I read the instructions in the room folder on the morning of my departure) - I don't like international symbols on devices, just use words then I will not what you mean! Again, it was the morning of my departure when I found the wifi password in the room folder.

On this occasion, I did not actually deal with a real person until I was about to leave. That all worked splendidly.

Coming from the east (Queanbeyan), once in Renmark, after the roundabout I had to go 100 metres up the road and then do a U-turn and come back to get to the motel. From my garage at home to parking at the Citrus Valley Motel my trip meter said that I drove 1000.2km. Without that U-turn, it would have been 1000.0km. Grrr. Just kidding, of course. I said that I would stay here again, and I did 6 days later.

Another guest reversed into the rear of my car during my stay, dampening my enthusiasm. I strongly suggest panels be placed at each end of Rooms 7-12 so that guests in other areas are not as close to other vehicles when reversing. Only one towel and one face washer left in Room on Sunday, the bin was not emptied either. Only one teaspoon in room - perhaps need to check these for future

It’s in a perfect location , that’s why I chose it and it’s very welcoming that you get greeted with a smile . The place was spotless and cleanliness is what’s important to me

I was having a hot shower in the morning and then it went cold but when I turned it off and then put it back on , it was nice and hot, so it was no big deal

Well equipped room. Great fridge with separate freezer, microwave, lots of crockery, cutlery, glasses and mugs. Even had packets of biscuits. Shower had good pressure and hot water came through quickly. Beds were comfortable with electric blankets and coverings to keep us warm. Our family room had a separate room with enough beds for five people. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Rooms are a bit dated and lighting was dim in the dining area.

Very good Motel that I would use again if I was passing through Renmark; it had everything I needed for a comfortable night's stay. The location is perfect, within walking distance of a shopping centre (Woolworths, Big W etc) and it's also not too far to walk to the town centre and the riverfront area. While it's on the main highway, I didn't hear any street noise and it's also therefore convenient for a quick getaway the next morning. Handily, there's a restaurant onsite as well, although I didn't go there the night I stayed.

The motel is an older-style complex, but I wasn't worried by this at all and it's actually extremely good value for money. If I had to quibble about anything else, the bathroom was a touch small, but again, for one night, this didn't trouble me at all. Everything worked and was clean.

Room was clean and tidy - bathroom a little dated, and a bit squeezy but clean, and shower had decent water pressure. Liked that we had room away from the road - made it quieter and sleeping was much better

Main bed a little uncomfortable and mattress bouncy Towels were tiny! Bigger towels would be lovely but not end of world as we did have extra ones as spares...

Friendly staff, great aircon. on a hot day, clean and comfortable bed, convenient parking. Value for money.

It's an older motel and could probably do with an update, but for the price it was good. Some of the reviews I read were not overly complimentary, however I was pleasantly surprised.

The room was very clean and plenty of room. Shower was big and water pressure very strong. Parking facilities were great as you could park right outside your room. Supermarket across the road.

It was value for money so no complaints.

Room was clean and comfortable. Ample provision of cups, glasses and cutlery for self catering breakfast options, with microwave, kettle & toaster.

Unfortunately we were there on a Sunday night and the in house dinning option was not available.
